Nowadays, the world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. Recently,haze weather has become a usual phenomenon here in large part of China. People are forced to wear the mask to avoid breathing poisonous air. Therefore, effective measures should be taken and laws passed to conserve the environment. In my opinion, to protect the environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, people should be educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve our natural resources and recycle our products. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the policy of population into practice, because more people mean more pollution. Finally,laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforce strictly just as our government has been doing. To sum up,if we work together to take out such measures,our environment will get better and better and haze weather will vanish completely.

在一个风和日丽的下午，我们德州晚报的小记者们一起去德州学院参观。学院的图书馆和生物标本给我留下了很深的印象，经过亲身感受，我学到了很多在书本上学不到的知识。

德州学院图书馆是我们小记者参观的第一站，一个外表装饰简单的5层高楼，里面整齐有序地陈列着各种各样的书籍，给我印象最深的是其中有大量的工具书、杂志、报刊。与普通图书馆不同的是，这里单独设置了一个自习室，有许多大学生为躲避学海中的喧嚣，踏上这艘宁静的小舟，不忍心打扰他们学习中的静寂，我们转向第二站。

第二站不是您想来就来、想进就能进的，因为它是人体标本室。在这里有：人的骨骼、不同的器官肿瘤、畸形婴儿……看看各个小记者脸上复杂的表情，才知道他们和我一样：心中有一点恐惧。我至今仍在想谁是第一个制作标本的人？他怎么会有这么大的胆量呀！心中不免对先人和智者产生了敬畏之情。

也是呀，如果我们不研究、不解剖，我们不知道心脏在身体的哪个部位；如果我们不研究、不解剖，我们不知道血管分为哪几种；如果我们不研究、不解剖，我们不知道病变器官是什么样子、发生病变的机理……这次亲身经历再一次让我明白了作为医者不单单有精湛的医术，还要有过人的胆量。

一下午的活动，很快就结束了。通过这次活动，我想以后我的生物课应该会学得更好一些。同时，我了解了一些在书本上学不到的知识，通过现场的参观，使自己对理论知识的认知更加完善，增长了实实在在的见识，真是不见不识受益匪浅呀！

I am . I was born in . I graduate from senior high school and major in Englh. I started learning Englh since I was 12 years old. My parents have a lot of American friends. That’s why I have no problem communicating with Americans or others by speaking Englh.

In my spare time, I like to do anything relating to Englh such as ltening to Englh songs, watching Englh movies or TV programs, or even attending the activities held by some Englh clubs or institutes.
