to the mountain, and let everyone drink chrysanthemum wine, and filled the

mountain with Cornus. After that, Huan Jing stood in front of the mountain with

a knife. After a while, the pestilence came as expected. It wanted to go up the

mountain and eat people. Huan Jing stopped him, so they fought together. The

smell of Cornus and dogwood is not stable for a few rounds. He raised a knife

from the mountain. The plague devil was removed, and the people in Nancheng

finally lived a comfortable life. Since then, in order to commemorate September

9, people have designated September 9 as the Double Ninth Festival. On this day,

people will climb high with their families, fill the mountains with Cornus and

drink chrysanthemum wine to pray for themselves and their families. This is the

and blow you up! I was trying to help you!”

At these words the swallow was so scared that he said out loud, “I heard

the little girl say that that wasn’t enough to pay for his father, and so I

“Oh my dear swallow, why on earth would you think I will not help a little

girl? And why on earth would you not tell me about this?” the spell was broken,

more.

That was the end of the happy prince. During the lives when he was a golden

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude. I am referring to that

unfortunate accident the other day, when I was knocked off my bike by a

taxi.

If it had not been for your timely assistance in giving me first aid, I

fear that the consequences might have been much serious. Everyone agrees that it

was your quick-witted response in that emergency that has led to this

satisfactory outcome.

Although nowadays people in mounting numbers talk about the need to be

unselfish, we see very few people practice what they preach. If there were more

people like you, this world would be a much nicer place.

There is an old lady lives next to my house. Everyday I can see her

wandering around the main gate. My mother tells me that she is retired and has

nothing to do, so she likes to talk to others, or offers help. Once she helps me

to carry my luggage. I am so thankful to her. She is so kind and I like to talk

to her.

I am going to have a busy weekend ! On Saturday , Im going to clean my

room and do homework. Then , in the evening , I m going to the supermaket with

my mother . On Saturday, Im going to the bookstore on foot . Im going to buy

some books. Then, Im going to go home and read the new books. In the evening ,

Im going to watch TV. That will be fun! What about you? What are you going to

do on the weekend?

Nobody can always happy,if you have something bad,what do you want to

do?And how do you feel? I know we should learn to control your feelings,it is

very important ,and i think it good for us to understand problem,and we can make

friends easily,because terrible heart can make us so bad,so we should have a

good heart to face the life,happily to solve them. We must believe

ourselves,because we are good!

My winter holiday is very dull. I stay at home for most of time. sometimes I visit my friends and play basketball with them. sometimes we go shopping.

One day, we go to the kfc. We have hamburgers, chicken coke and french fries. We have sore throats. We go home and have a rest. then we feel better. We go and play computer games! how mad we are!

This is the only thing i can talk about in the holiday.

Thank you for your letter of congratulation on my exam results. I was very pleased to hear from you. The results were a great relief. I did much better than I thought I would.

We are having a celebration party on Saturday 22 May and we shall be pleased if you can come. It is a party for me, but my parents and some of their old friends are joining in, so you will find

The party starts at half past six- drinks, and a buffet supper later. You said in your letter that youve given up driving, so my father will meet you with the car at San Mateo station. Please let me know what time your train arrives.

There is a good train back to San Palo at 10:30 and well arrange transport for you to catch that. I hope that wont be too late for you. It would be a pity if you had to leave while the party was still in full swing.I do hope that you will be able to come.
