On May 12, 2008, there was an earthquake happened in Wenchuan, Sichuan

province. More than 69000 people had lost their lives, 374643 people had injured

and 17923 people could not be found in this earthquake. After the earthquake had

happened, people from all the field joined the rescue teams. At that moment,

people only care about one thing, that was to save more people from this

disaster and encourage the injure to be strong. After seven day, the chairman

declared that May 19 is the national day of mourning. Flags were at half-mast

everywhere on the day of mourning for victims of Wenchuan earthquake.

The mourning day is to remember the people who lost their lives in the

the mid-autumn festival

the mid-autumn is a very important chinese festival. it falls on the 15th day of august. a few days before the festival, everyone in the family will help to make the house clean and beautiful. lanterns will be hung in front of the house.

on the evening there will be a big family dinner. people who work far away from their homes will try to come back for the union. after dinner, people will light the lanterns which are usually red and round. children will play with their own toy lanterns happily.

at night the moon is usually round and bright. people can enjoy the moon while eating moon-cakes which are the special food for this festival. they can look back on the past and look forward to the future together. it is said that there was a dragon in the sky. the dragon wanted to swallow up the moon. to protect the frighten the dragon away.

Today, I am very happy! Because its the Dragon Boat Festival today! No matter where you go, you can ask for a smell of zongzi. The streets, everywhere to buy dumplings: a small meat meat, meat, egg yolk, meat dumplings, dumplings red dates......

The generation gap refers to the difference in attitude toward thing or the

lack of understanding between young people and older folks.

In families as well as in society, the young and the older may not agree

with each other on this and that from time to time. Young people would llke to

make as much money as they could and spend as much money as they could earn

while older folks are easily satisfied with what they earn and save as much as

possible. Young people llke the exciting and deafening pop music while older

folks prefer melodious folk-songs or classic music. A boy and a glrl today may

fall in love with each other as quick as lightning, while their parents or grand

parents might trudge over a long distance before they kissed each other and

Trees are very useful to people. They provide us with wood and other

products. They give us shade and they help to prevent drought and floods.

Unfortunately， in many parts of our country， people havent realized the

importance of trees. They cut them down at will. They are usually too lazy or

too careless to plant and look after new trees. As a result， the forests

continue to disappear.

Where there are no trees the rain falls on the surface， causing floods， and

carries away with the rich topsoil， in which crops grow so well. When all the

topsoil is gone， nothing remains but worthless deserted.

The big floods of 1998， in parts of China， have already taught us a good

lesson. So every one of us must love trees， protect forests， and keep on

planting trees each year.

It seems we are living in the conflict between modern and traditional

cultures every day. Hearing the blaring of horns the moment you step out of your

house, seeing the so called "pop" the moment you open your eyes, you cant help

thinking, "Will the traditional culture be gradually lost?"

Many people believe so. They may put right in front of you all the

evidences they can dig out. They may argue that people are rushing to

restaurants instead of cooking at home, listening to pop music but not

traditional, wearing in a way people couldnt imagine ten years ago. Modern

people like the air of freedom, not to be restrained by traditions. They offer

this long list, only trying to confirm that this world is full of

fashion,competition and temptation and the traditional culture is fading and

will be lost at last.

Though we are now living in a world in which undeclared aggression, war,

hypocrisy, chicanery, anarchy are part of our daily life. Though this is a

skeptical age, and our faith has weakened, our confidence in some aspects of the

traditional culture should and would never be lost.

Wouldnt you agree that our traditional culture is always credited with

modesty, politeness and respectfulness, which have always been treasured for

more than five thousand years?Even in this modern world, people still admire

those with good manners, those who are polite to others or respectful to old

people.

Wouldnt you agree that our Chinese traditional music is beautiful and

artistic and our Chinese tea culture is always an appealing treasure to people

around the world?

So there may just be some changes in our lifestyle or our attitudes towards

life, but little change occurs to some fundamental aspects of our traditional

culture that people still treasure in heart.

The traditional culture will never be lost, I believe.

My favorite holiday is Mid-autumn Day. Do you know why? Firstly, it’s day for family gathering. On Mid-autumn Day, families will stay together and eat a big dinner. My families always make very delicious food. After dinner, families will enjoy the beautiful full moon. We often have a good talk and eat moon cakes and fruits. For me, I like moon cakes very much. They are so tasty. Besides, the Mid-autumn Day is in autumn. It’s my favorite season.

Two years ago, the ofo became popular in China. The government advocated

ofo plan and wanted to facilitate people’s lives. Nowadays, ofo is favored by

more and more people, especially in the big cities. It can help people to save

time and some people can use it to take a visit of the city. The foreigners

speak highly of ofo. They say it brings great convenience to them. What’s more,

in the big cities, the traffic always get congested. At this moment, ofo is

great help to them. People don’t need to worry about being late. But the problem

comes. Some bikes are damaged and people condemn such behavior. Everybody should

behave themselves and make ofo works well.

Stress comes in all shapes and size, and has become pervasive, it seems to

penetrate everything and everybody, its hard to get through a day without

hearing or reading something about stress. Some doctors refer to stress as some

我不时的抬头看着天空，碧空如洗，圆月如盘。忽然，我发现明月里有一个美丽的身影，衣袖飘飘，她探着身子注视着人间。那是美丽如花的嫦娥仙子在找后羿吧!嫦娥看见人间千家万户都热热闹闹，团团圆圆的，她越看越伤心，扯过一片云朵来擦眼泪。乖巧可爱的玉兔跳到了她的肩上，好像在说：“嫦娥姐姐，你别难过，我会在这里陪着你的。”

温柔的月光，照着大地，温暖着人们的心房，我不禁的想起张九龄写的那句诗：“海上升明月，天涯共此时。”我想：远方的爸爸也在吃月饼赏月吧!此刻他一定在“举杯邀明月，对影成三人”了。

本学期，我将结合学校工作计划和学校教学工作计划的要求，规范常规教学，提高教学质量，努力形成自己的教学特色。

一、总体思路

以努力提高教学质量为目标，以抓好教学常规工作，提高英语合格率为重点，采用任务型教学法，注重“学困生”的教育补差工作，形成良好的教学风气。

二、学生情况分析

经过一学期的学习，从上期期末成绩来看，七年级两个班的英语成绩比较理想。平均分82分。大部分学生学习目的明确，态度端正，掌握了英语学习的一些基本方法，能够积极主动认真地学习，学习成绩较好。但还有少部分学生没有明确的学习目的，缺少学习的热情和主动性，自觉性较差，相应的学习习惯也差，加上两极分化十分严重。

三、教材分析

《Goforit》七年级下册共14个单元，包括2个复习单元。全书采用任务型语言教学模式，融汇话题、交际功能和语言结构，形成了一套循序渐进的生活化的学习程序。每个单元都列出明确的语言目标，主要的功能项目与语法结构，需要掌握的基本词汇，并分为A、B两部分。A部分是基本的语言内容，B部分是知识的扩展和综合的语言运用。每个单元还有selfcheck部分，供学生自我检测本单元所学的语言知识。它采用“语言的输入---学生的消化吸收---学生的语言输出”为主线编排的。

四、教学目标

掌握本册书上的重点词汇、词组以及句型。通过本学期的学习，培养学生对英语的学习兴趣，形成有效的学习策略，有效提高学习效率，发展双基能力;培养听、说、读、写的能力，使学生初步获得运用英语的能力，达到语言运用能力的迁移和拓展;通过了解世界，了解不同地区的人文风俗，学会理解和尊重异国文化，并使学生在人际交往中学会尊重和理解别人，能在小组活动中积极与他人合作，相互帮助，共同完成学习任务，尽情享受学习的乐趣。

五、教学措施

1、加强词汇教学，包括单词拼写、词义记忆，语言功能的训练。

词汇是文章、句子的基本单位，词汇量的大小，将直接关系到学生能否流利地运用英语进行交际;能否熟练地用英语读和写;能否顺利地用英语思考。从上学期的期末考试所反映的问题看，在今后的教学中，在加强拼读与拼写的同时，应帮助学生进行有意识记，应加强对词的用法及内在含义的理解，要培养学生用英语解释单词的能力，逐步启发引导学生用英语思考。单词教学一定要做到词不离句，这样，学生在学会了单词的同时，也学会了词的一些基本用法。

2、每天背诵课文中的对话，培养语感。

3、基本的语法教学一定要与语境相结合。

进行语法操练时，要坚持“四位一体”，即话题、语境、结构、功能相结合。抓住话题，联系语境，确定语法结构，明确语法功能(交际功能)。要重视语法知识对于培养语言运用功能的基础作用，又要注重改革教法。课堂上一定要有生动活泼的教学活动。

4、进一步培养阅读能力和写作能力。

阅读和写作能力的培养是英语教学的又一重点。阅读和写作能力的培养在于平时。教师在平时讲解阅读理解题时，应着力帮助学生分析语言材料，而不是核对答案;平常应该多写作文。

5、做好学困生转化和优秀生培养工作。

《浅谈英语阅读能力的培养》

措施：用新的教学理念指导英语阅读教学，进一步改变教法和学法，培养学生对英语阅读的兴趣，提高学生的英语阅读能力，提高英语教学效果。

1、尝试通过各种形式的学习，例如复述课文、把课文改编成情景剧、阅读竞赛等活动，提高学生学习英语的兴趣，从而达到自主积累、综合运用英语的目的，并指导学生运用科学的方法记忆单词、阅读课文，取得事半功倍的效果。

2、通过信息技术与学科整合的手段，以课内为基础，增加课外阅读的量，指导学生借助信息手段和工具书理解文章基本内容的方法，提高学生的英语自学能力。

3、以复述课文、回答问题、判断正误、通过上下文线索猜词义为载体，培养学生的综合阅读技能，提高学生的英语阅读理解能力。

The Mid-Autumn or Moon Festival is one rich in poetic(诗意的) significance. Ancient legends(古代的传说) that became interwoven with this festival‘s celebration further contribute to the warm regard in which it has always been held by the Chinese people. According to the lunar calendar(农历)， the seventh， eighth， and ninth months constitute the autumn season. Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month， precisely in the middle of this season， when the heat of the summer has given way to cool autumn weather， marked by blue skies and gentle breezes. On this day the moon is at its greatest distance from the earth; at no other time is it so luminous. Then， as the Chinese say， “The moon is perfectly round.” In the villages the heavy work involved in the summer harvest has already been completed but the autumn harvest has not yet arrived.

The actual origins of the Mid-Autumn Festival are still very unclear. The earliest records are from the time of the great Han dynasty emperor Wu Di， who initiated celebrations lasting three days， including banquets and “Viewing the Moon” evenings on the Toad Terrace. We know that people during the Jin dynasty (265-420 A.D.) continued the custom of Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations， and similar accounts have come down to us from the time of the Tang dynasty. During the Ming dynasty (1368-1644) houses and gardens were decorated with numerous lanterns and the sound of gongs and drums filled the air.

“江天一色无纤尘，皎皎空中孤月轮”望着皎洁的明月，我不禁吟诵起了张若虚的《春江花月夜》。伴着轻柔的音乐，这首诗也拉开了我们家中秋节联欢会的大幕……

随着一首欢快的乐曲，我们全家开始了第一项游戏——“颂月赛诗大比拼”。爸爸首先上场，他声音洪亮地朗诵起了李白的《静夜思》：“床前明月光，疑是地上霜。举头望明月，低头思故乡。”我为爸爸热烈鼓掌，妈妈却不屑一顾：“哼，有什么了不起，瞧我的!”说着，漂亮的妈妈声情并茂地朗诵起来，“明月出天山，苍茫云海间。长风几万里，吹度玉门关。”呵呵，这是我们刚学过的《关山月》，我和爸爸为妈妈大声喝彩。终于轮到我了，我清了清嗓子，情不自禁地吟道：“戍鼓断人行，边秋一雁声，露从今夜白，月是故乡明。”刚朗诵完，爸爸就竖起了大拇指，妈妈更是喜不自禁：“我们的宝贝，还会背杜甫的《月夜忆舍弟》，太棒了!”……经过三轮紧张、激烈的比拼，最后，我和爸爸统统被学识渊博、古诗积累极多的妈妈给“剿灭”了。

我爱家乡的中秋节，每年一到八月十五日，就可以吃到美味的月饼，还可以欣赏美丽的月亮。

记得去年，刚刚到了八月十五日的中秋节。到晚上的时候，我和爸爸，妈妈就拿出一张桌子和三根板凳出来欣赏月亮，欣赏着，我突然想起了一句诗：明月几时有，把酒问青天……妈妈突然想起了一件事，于是急忙地把月饼拿出来，说：“你们哪个人抽到我放在月饼里的奖，我就要把水泼到抽奖抽中了的人身上，你就会得到好运气。”于是我就急急忙忙地抽，没想到，我竟然抽中了！爸爸和妈妈看见我抽中了月饼里的奖，便把水盆拿来把水泼到我的身上。泼完之后，爸爸和妈妈见我像一只落汤鸡似的，便哈哈大笑起来，看到爸爸和妈妈这么开心地笑着，我也大笑了起来。

“从前天上有十个太阳，把大地烤得寸草不生，老百姓生活特别的痛苦。有一天一个叫后羿大力士拉开了神箭，射掉了九个太阳。王母娘娘奖励他一颗仙丹，吃了就可以成仙飞到天上去。后羿舍不得他的妻子嫦娥就把仙丹交给嫦娥保管。一天，后羿要带着村里的年轻人去打猎，有一个懒汉叫逢蒙他想趁后羿不在家的时候抢走仙药。于是他就假装有病留在了家里。当后羿带着年轻人到森林里去的时候，他就来到了后羿家逼迫嫦娥交出仙药。嫦娥抢夺不过他就急中生智把仙药含在了嘴里。谁知她身体突然变轻就飞到天上去了。嫦娥来到了天上见到王母娘娘。王母娘娘很生气，因为嫦娥没有资格成仙，于是就罚她到月亮的广寒宫里面去住。后羿打猎回来发现妻子不见了，后来他知道妻子是吃了先要飞到天上去了。后羿非常思念他的妻子嫦娥，也非常想念她的丈夫，于是每年八月十五的时候，嫦娥都会在月亮里面跳舞给后羿看。”听完故事，我闹着姐姐带我到院子里去看月亮。望着望着我，好像感觉真的看到嫦娥在里面跳舞。

今年的中秋节我真的很快乐。希望明年也会这样。我还要祝福祖国节日快乐，祝全国人民团团圆圆。

Stepping into the new century, environment pollution has become more

serious than ever since. There are different kinds of pollution. Such as, water

pollution, air pollution and noise pollution and so on. It seems that we live on

a planet which is full of pollution. Where all these pollution comes from? To a

large extend, the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for

the rapid development of economy and the growing population. In order to have

more fuel, people cut down trees and dig more corals. But the growing needs for

energy are hardly to meet. Countless private cars on the street, the gas

stations are short of gasoline, even the government has raise the price so many

times in order to control the needs of gasoline, but it’s still not working.

Overusing the natural resources has already affected the ecological balance.

However, the factories still release the toxic air into the sky and the polluted

water into the rivers. People still lack of the conscious of protecting the

environment. I think it’s time for all of us to do something.

The government should put forward some more strict laws to prevent the

environment from being further polluted. And they should let people know more

about the importance of environment protection. And we should find the balance

between the economic growth and environmental protection. Plant more trees in

the deserts and stop cutting down the forest. Forbid the factories to pour the

waste water into the rivers directly. Encourage people to use public

transportations to work. Both government and ordinary people should join hands

together to make our home clean and fresh again. Only in this way, our earth

could be a better place to live in.

中秋！令我想起了皎洁的月亮和团聚在一起的家人！

我以前的中秋节是这样过的：在家中，吃着丰盛的饭菜以及香甜可口的月饼，在家里边看电视边吃着月饼，然而书中的中秋节是这样的：家家伴着明月，与亲朋好友团聚在一起，孩童们在树下嬉戏玩耍，时儿发出欢快的笑声今年，我们的中秋节也是这样特别而又美好。

今天，我们不同于以往，破例地来到阿姨经营的小店里，亲朋好友早已等候我们多时，我们一阵寒暄后，便准备吃那已被我们联手做好的、热气腾腾的团圆饭，看了真让人大饱眼福、口水直流，让人想大快朵颐，我不禁想起刚刚妈妈和阿姨分工的情景：妈妈把豆腐切成了许多份三角形，并把他们的肚子切开，把肉馅放进去；阿姨做饺子，只见阿姨把面粉加了些肉，用那双巧手，三下五除二，就把那一大堆的美味饺子做好了，这时，妈妈叫了我一声：来吃团圆饭了。把我从回忆中唤了回来，于是，我们团聚在一起，我和哥哥、弟弟们互不相让，空气中弥漫着火药味，我决定先下手为强，没想到的是，他们也打着同样的算盘，我们狼吞虎咽，生怕错过这美食，一下子，风卷残云，只剩下一块瘦肉，最后，哥哥眼疾手快，把最后一块上等的瘦肉夹去了，津津有味地吃了起来，可真是别有一番风景，其乐融融啊！

吃完团圆饭后，到了九点钟，大人们把手上的活都停下来，拿出月饼，准备吃月饼赏月，只见高空中挂着一个大大的圆盘，像一块白玉，白玉挂在高空，充满了神秘感，我拿着月饼，边吃边想：如果真有嫦娥，那么她会不会后悔因吃了仙丹而见不到自己的有情人呢？她是不是会在今天下凡来偷偷地看着我们吃月饼呢？吃完月饼，我和哥哥决定提着灯笼去集市玩，只见集市人山人海的，像过年一样，可真热闹啊！

中秋，一切都那么美好！

期待已久的中秋终于来到了。我可是等的快化作“望月石”了。

这天晚上全家人刚吃完晚饭后天就黑了这时奶奶拿来一只升罗里面装满了麦子在中间插了一股香四周围也插满了一种叫亮晶晶的香然后在蜡签上插了两支蜡烛于是奶奶点燃了蜡烛和香我觉得非常好奇问道：“奶奶这是什么香啊怎么好玩？”奶奶回答道：“这亮晶晶香啊意味着出门不遭受风雨而且还能去除灾害。”我看了看点了点头。

过了一会儿奶奶又端上来了早上买的苹果、月饼、梨等东西。我正做在椅子上望着天上那圆圆的月亮。突然月亮一下子消失了我觉得非常奇怪便大声说道：“月亮怎么不见了它去那里了？”爸爸笑着说：“傻孩子因为今天是阴天啊所以月亮出来了一会儿就不见了。”这时我无意间看见了放在桌子上的东西于是伸出手想要拿月饼就在我刚要碰到的一瞬间爷爷说道：“别动那月饼不是我们自己吃的是给月亮公公吃的月亮公公吃饱了我们出门才能保平安。”我似懂非懂地点了点头后就又坐在椅子上望着天上希望月亮能重新出来再让我看着它。同时我又想：我们家乡的中秋节竟有这么多习俗我还是头一回知道呢！我还想：中秋节是个团圆的节日正如苏轼在《水调歌头》中说道“但愿人长久千里共婵娟”。

在家乡的中秋节风俗都进行完成之后，一看时间已经很晚了，立刻被妈妈赶去睡觉。
