Last weekend, I wanted to swim in the river that I usually wen in the

childhood. When I went there, I was shock. The river is no longer like before.

When the Mid-Autumn Festival is near， shop windows are beautifully decorated。 Many "moon cakes" are displayed for people to buy。 People send presents such aswine， fruits and "moon cakes" to their friends and relatives。 In the evening of the day， they have a feast。 After the feast， they go out to the garden to look at the moon。 The children run and laugh on the streets。

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festivity for both the Han and minority nationalities. The custom of worshipping the moon can be traced back as far as the ancient Xia and Shang Dynasties . In the Zhou Dynasty, people hold ceremonies to greet winter and worship the moon whenever the Mid-Autumn Festival sets in. In the Southern Song Dynasty , however, people send round moon cakes to their relatives as gifts in expression of their best wishes of family reunion. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties , the custom of Mid-Autumn Festival celebration becomes unprecedented popular. Together with the celebration there appear some special customs in different parts of the country, such as burning incense, planting Mid-Autumn trees, lighting lanterns on towers and fire dragon dances. However, the custom of playing under the moon is not so popular as it used to be nowadays, but it is not less popular to enjoy the bright silver moon. Whenever the festival sets in, people will look up at the full silver moon, drinking wine to celebrate their happy life or thinking of their relatives and friends far from home, and extending all of their best wishes to them.

吃过月饼，快到晚上了，我们全家来到小区里赏月。

我们一边欣赏着明月，一边赞叹不已，都被这景象深深吸引住了。

When I went to middle school, it was hard for me to adjust the new

environment at first, because there were so many subjects to learn, I fell

much pressure and she suggested me to take relax and made progress step by step.

She said everything would be better someday. Now I have made progress and when I

merely a waste of time, because the volunteers have no gains with pains.
