姥姥家门前还有一条大河，河水日夜不停地流淌着，河里还有几只鸭子在嬉戏水，还不时地发出“咯咯”的声音，好像小孩子在哈哈大笑一样。河岸旁还有一块菜地，姥姥说：“这块菜地的一半用来种白菜，剩下的一半用来种葱、豆角、茄子、黄瓜……”
