我今天下午二点醒来。屋子里没东西吃，所以我出去了。

我想去一家便宜的餐馆找些吃的。当我到餐厅的时候，我意识到我忘记带钱了，所以我就回家了。

然后我意识到我也忘了带钥匙，所以我在外面等我妈妈回家，并在之后的时间里一直饿着。

五一放假，妈妈带着我和弟弟去乡下看望姥姥。我们大约行了三个小时的路程才到了姥姥家。

一进院门，鸡鸣狗叫，姥姥、阿姨、哥哥、姐姐、妹妹……都急着上来迎接我们，见我们提的大包小包的，姥姥忙着抢了过去，生怕我们累着，还热情的带我们进屋，妈妈对我说：“乡下人很朴实热情的，人与人见了面都会打个招呼，聊上几句家常话，不像城市的那种“无缘对面不相识”的冷漠，好像家家户户都是自己的亲戚一样亲密。”

姥姥家门前还有一条大河，河水日夜不停地流淌着，河里还有几只鸭子在嬉戏水，还不时地发出“咯咯”的声音，好像小孩子在哈哈大笑一样。河岸旁还有一块菜地，姥姥说：“这块菜地的一半用来种白菜，剩下的一半用来种葱、豆角、茄子、黄瓜……”

田地里的麦子一望无际，但有一片绿的，发黑的麦子，可能是农民没有管好吧!还有一片是绿的、发黄的，妈妈说那是麦子成熟的标志，马上就是丰收的大好时节了。

门前还有几棵绿树成荫的树。每到夏天的时候，这些树就像是我们天然的空调，大人们在树荫底下乘凉聊天，小孩们则在树荫下玩耍、嬉戏、打闹，玩的可开心了!

屋后，姥姥总是要养几只鸡的，走到屋后，你肯定会看见有几只鸡在树下觅食，还有一只大公鸡昂起头在草地上转来转去，可骄傲了!

吃过中午饭后，我和弟弟到对面的山坡上去摘野花。哇!只见眼前一亮，红的、黄的、绿的、粉的、白的……真是五颜六色、五花八门啊!这种景象在城里是很难见到的。

当外面下大雪，不能出门的时候，我靠在暖气上在知识的海洋里畅游，什么《钢铁是怎样炼成的》、《鲁滨孙漂流记》、《木偶奇遇记》等，全成了我的好朋友。我随着故事中的人物一起开心，一起伤心，一起感动，一起愤怒。一个个故事就像一个个谜，牵着我揭开它的盖头。

寒假里最快乐的莫过于过年了。穿上崭新的衣服，吃丰富的水果、大餐，放花炮、收红包、尽情地玩，尤其是我的生日在大年初二，我们全家在一起吃生日蛋糕，吹生日蜡烛，祝愿我快乐成长。

一转眼，年要过完了，我的新学期也就开始了。

Protecting the Wild Animals

Last week, I saw a very impressive documentary about panda. A professor studied panda in the early 1980s went to the wild life and kept trace of wild giant panda for many years. As a result, he found that it was human being that made these lovely animals die out. At that time, many people believed that giant panda became less because of the low rate of newborn babies. But it was not true. People cut trees for making profit at that time. Panda lose homeland and they lacked of food. Thanks to these valuable data, the government took the policy to protect the animals. So today, the number of giant panda is increasing. People realize the importance of protecting the environment and it is the best way to protect wild animals, they are the indispensable part of the nature.
