Candles are lit outside houses as a way to guide wayward spirits home. This day is celebrated as the Lantern Festival, and families walk the street carrying lighted lanterns.

夜幕渐渐降临，人间万家灯火通明。“开饭了……”随着爸爸奶奶的一声招呼，我们连忙蹦蹦跳跳跑到桌前，看着一桌好菜眼红得不得了。这时，大人们不约而同地说：“差点忘了这件重要的事。”我们也才反应过来压岁钱还没拿呢。虽说这传统我们也经历了不少年，可要接过红包，不知怎么的还是有些不好意思。

一大家人团团圆圆地围在桌旁一同吃着香喷喷的年夜饭，看着电视里的春节联欢晚会。别提多幸福了！

吃完2011年的最后一顿饭，紧接着的就是一年中最后一个节目——放烟花迎接新的一年的到来。我们走出家门，外面似乎也被染上了春节喜庆的气氛，变得不那么寒冷了。一朵又一朵绚丽的烟花在夜空中开放，我们头仰着，看着这些烟花心里有说不出的喜悦、欢欣……
