Thus some people wonder whether Christmas will replace the Spring Festival.

This worry is fairly unnecessary. Why ? One reason lies that Christmas only affects Christians，college students and joint-venture (合资企业)workers. Another reason is that Christmas is mostly celebrated in cities. Few people in countryside show extreme interest in this exotic(带有异国情调的) festival. 中国历史悠久，有许多民俗文化。春节便是其中之一。春节是中国的传统节日。每到春节，街道上张灯结彩；家家户户的门上都贴着春联，有的人家还要在门上贴上大大的“福”字，并挂上红红的灯笼；有的祭拜祖先，有的舞狮耍龙，也有的踩高跷等等，活动丰富多彩，带有浓郁的民族特色，春节喜庆气氛一般要持续到元宵节才会结束。

我最喜欢过春节，因为春节是个亲人团聚的节日。一家人在一起吃年 夜 饭，是家家户户最热闹最愉快的时候。大年三十丰盛的饭菜摆满一桌，合家团聚，人们既是享受满桌的美味佳肴，也是享受那份快乐的气氛。年 夜 饭各地都不同，有饺子、年糕、长寿面、元宵等等。这顿年 夜 饭要慢慢地吃，也就是要守岁。

我最喜欢过春节，因为春节是个喜庆的节日。人们会燃放各式各样的烟花爆竹，来庆祝这热闹的节日。尤其是新年钟声敲响的时候，整个中华大地上空，爆竹声震响天宇，爆竹声响是辞旧迎新的标志，更是喜庆心情的流露。

我最喜欢过春节，还因为春节有一段很长的假期，我们每天都可以睡到自然醒，想吃什么做什么，那种感觉真的很好。在春节这个假期里，我们还可以全家人一起，到风景区去观光游玩，到不同的城市去感受生活。

此外，亲朋好友拜年并互相祝福，联络感情，孩子们穿新衣服、得压岁钱，我觉得很温馨。这也是我最喜欢春节的一个原因。

我最喜欢过春节，它给我带来许多欢乐，并且让我感受到浓浓的中国文化情。
