春节是传统节日中我最爱的节日，春节又叫除夕也叫过年，它有一个传说，据说每年的过年这一天，都会回来一个名叫“年兽”的怪物，人们都往山上跑躲“年兽”，有一个老头他没有跑，他在家里挂上灯笼，贴上对联，燃烧火把，把竹子放在火里;年兽来了，它跑到房子前，定睛一看，到处都是红色，这时，在火里的竹子啪的一声爆了，年兽大惊失色，转身逃跑了。第二天，人们回到村子里一看，村子居然安然无恙，他们跑到老头家一看，老头在吃着饺子，喝着香酒。人们问老头为什么没有把村子破坏，而且还逃跑了，老头回答说：“年兽被我吓跑了!”人们说不可能，就你这小身材能把年兽吓跑了?老头回答说：“年兽怕红色，怕响声。”就这样山东人，发明了鞭炮。从此以后，人们过着快乐的日子，再也不怕年兽了。

我们家过春节，也延续着这个传说，都会吃饺子，吃鱼，喝酒。最重要的也会贴许多的红色的年画，还会放很响的鞭炮，然后在屋里吃好吃的，看春晚。每年都很开心!

Similar with other places in china, we prepare for the festival about half a month before. With the lunar New Year approaching, the red lanterns are hung up along the main streets, making the ancient town filled with the festival atmosphere. While people clean up their houses, decorate it with traditional decorations such as Chinese knots and paper cutting. Each family pastes up Spring Festival couplets to convey their best wishes for the coming year.

This money is given to children for good luck 。 People put New Year scrolls on the wall for good fortune 。 The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long。

People visit relatives and friends with the words “Have all your wishes ”。 People enjoy the Spring Festival ，during this time they can have a good rest 。

There are a lot of valid, rich and colorful legends about the origin of the Lunar New Year. They can be traced to thousands of years ago, among which the most famous one is the legend of Monster Nian. Monster Nian was a cruel wild animal. Ancient people believed that Monster Nian would come out to eat people on New Year’s Eve. It was said that Monster Nian was afraid of red, fire and noise. In order to repel it, people would put the red notes on doors and keep the torch alight all night as well as set off firecrackers. Early next morning, people greeted each other. The air was filled with the victory and the rebirth joy.

农历新年的来源，有根据。丰富而多彩的传说，可追溯到几千年前。其中，最有名的就是“年兽”的传说。“年兽”是一只残忍凶猛的野兽，古代人相信“年兽”在除夕夜时会出来吃人。传说“年兽”极惧怕红色、火光及吵杂的声音，于是人们就在门上贴著红纸条，并整夜点著火炬、燃放炮烛，来避开“年兽”。到了第二天一大早，“恭喜”之声不绝于耳，空气中弥漫著打败“年兽”胜利与重生的喜悦。
