因为班主任布置的经典小说的任务，我拿起了一直放在书架上的那本“外国名著”。——但是我并不喜欢。

对于我来说，那些枯燥的名著里并不会有现在言情小说里的轰轰烈烈，所以我一直对于名著有些抵抗。我也不知是不是先入为主的观念，所以让我觉得其他小说也理应如此。

但是当我翻开第一页的时候，我就有些惊讶，它并不像是其他小说一样开头就开始叙述感情线——也许是现在感情线主流小说的原因吧。

简·奥斯汀的《傲慢与偏见》语言非常精练，在故事方面有很大的空间，给人一个无限的遐想空间。若真用漂亮的词语来形容，我便要说：作者深厚的文字功底让我感觉像是做了一场梦，梦里如同掠过竹林的风，带给我竹林般的清凉，泉水般的清澈，让人随时随地沉迷于其中。

我能选择这本小说，应当是因为里面的爱情故事。当今的社会，有太多美好、不美好的故事了，所以当我每次觉得社会冷漠，并没有我想的那么温暖的时候，我就会寄情与网络上的言情小说，便一发不可收拾。

可是当我看完了这本书，我真心觉得——当初的想法错了。

这个世上的事情，总要是看自己用什么角度去看的。在这部描写爱情与婚姻的小说里，和我当初看的文章大相径庭。小说围绕班奈特太太如何把五个女儿嫁出去的主题展开。书中一共写了四队青年男女的结合，作者一一加以比较，批判，爱憎分明的阐述了自己的爱情与婚姻观。富有傲慢的达西和睿智具有反叛精神的伊丽莎白，温柔体贴的简和有权有势的宾利，以及莉迪亚和威克姆，夏洛蒂与柯林斯。

不同的文体风格让我感受了不同的样子，如同一位叫做伊丽莎白的女孩所追求的一样——面包、玫瑰。若两者不可得兼，舍玫瑰而取面包者也。

有的时候，这才是现实，即使我们还不能理解，但是终有一天会面临压力。可是心中追求爱、追求美的欲望却不会停滞。

书中的平等。《傲慢与偏见》，这个书名便是在平等的观念下产生的。

取其精华去其糟粕，让我们回归眼下，期待能看到更多发展的雏鹰。

如果要用来概括《傲慢与偏见》的内容，那就是：由于两种情绪——傲慢与偏见，而凑合了4起有趣的婚姻。如果要用一句话来阐述《傲慢与偏见》隐含的内容，那就是：从与婚姻看社会。开篇的第一句话便点出了小说的主线——婚姻。而且在那时，仿佛越早结婚，家里人就越有面子。而个人的出身、家人的素质，也会对晚辈的婚姻带来极大影响。

全本小说描绘了许多性格各异的人，可谓是社会一个的缩影。有脾气古怪、专横而不懂得人情事理的妈妈，有高傲、理智的达西先生，有温文尔雅的宾利先生和大姐简……而最让我记忆犹新的，就是威克姆先生。

也许你会觉得奇怪，为什么那个虚假的人，会让我觉得记忆犹新?也许正是因为他的虚假吧。他拥有英俊的外表，可内心却不堪入目。在所有的人面前，他戴这一张厚厚的面具——优雅的举止、讨人喜欢的谈吐，这几乎蒙蔽了所有人。你可以认为这是他的一种能耐，但换一个角度来想想，会怎么样呢?

She is so happy and arranged one of her five daughters marriage with him. At a ball, luckly, Bingley and Jane fall in love at the first sight. Darcy, a friend of Bingley’s , was attracted to Elizabeth, a lively and spirited girl. But Darcy greatly offends her by his supercilious behavior and this dislike is increased by Wickham, a dashing young militia officer of the unjust treatment he has met with at Darcys hands.

One day when Darcy and Bingley’s two sisters disgusted with the vulgarity of Mrs. Bennet and her two youngest daughters, effectively separated Bingley and Jane. Meanwhile, Collins, a cousin of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet, married charlotte, a friend of Elizabeth’s, for Elizabeth’s refuse to marry him. My point of view towards the masterpiece of Jane Austen’s is that this novel reflects the English human sentiment of the end of 18th century and the early of 19th century under the circumstance of conservative，and tells us the difference ways and attitudes to marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet’s five daughters’. Thereby reveal the author herself attitude towards marriage, that is love and marriage based on money, property and social status is not perfect, but it is also stupid Without considering all of these. There, the author emphasize the importance of ideal marriage, meanwhile, to be opposed to love & marriage based on money or property and to be opposed to people’s laugh love & marriage off.

The author takes the affection/love as the cornerstone of ideal marriage between male and female. I have read some parts of this nover when I was about thirteen years old,but the book was really too thick for me to read over patiently.It’s a pity that I haven’t finished it till now.But fortunately, I have watched the movie “Pride and Predudice”directed by an American film studio several months ago.

The simple but pure plot,the wonderful song,the classical custume, the luxury ball,the scene full of amorous feelings from the British country,the beatiful and stubborn actress,all of these moved me deeply.Mr. Darcy,the actor of the nover,a nobleman from the uper-classes in England,because of this , he has an inborn superiority that he looks down at every person from the lower-classes .

He don’t like neither their life style nor their way to think.Elizabeth,the actress of the nover,an obstinate,wise young girl from the lower-classes of the country.She dosen’t like anyone who is constumelious,she hates the spurs from the pride men. By these, you know,there’er lots of conflicts between them,but at last,Darcy and Elizabeth,the two different even opposite youngsters fall love .That’s very incredible.

In fact,we are always pride and think something in our mind but not right,we assess the others only depend on their background or their color of skin , we hide our true heart and pretend ,we dispise the others without any reason……But why don’t we ask ourselves in our heart or mind: what do we feel in fact? What do we need in fact? What do we hate and love in fact? Why not express our real feelings at once?Why not chase the happy we really want ?

与小说同名的电影同样令我着迷，它在对小说的整体把握与剪裁、演员的表演、配乐等方面均可圈可点。电影限于篇幅删去了一些次要人物和情节，但伊丽莎白与达西、简与彬格莱、夏洛蒂与柯林斯以及莉迪雅与韦翰这四对年轻人的恋爱婚姻仍然脉络清楚、不枝不蔓。演员的表演可称上佳，达西由最初的傲慢到情不自禁到放下架子倾心相爱，伊丽莎白优雅聪明、自信自尊，班纳特太太缺乏修养、忽喜忽嗔，柯林斯谄上倨下、滑稽可笑，还有凯瑟琳夫人傲慢无礼、出言荒唐，无不纤毫毕现，特别是后三位配角略带夸张的表演，实在令人忍俊不禁。电影的配乐也非常符合影片诙谐幽默的气氛，凡柯林斯出场必配以轻快富于跳跃感的音乐，凡凯瑟琳夫人出场则配以沉重庄严的背景音，给影片增色不少。

但若吹毛求疵的话，影片还是有几处不足。其一是莉迪雅与韦翰私奔后达西才特地前往伊丽莎白家，向她说出韦翰过去的卑劣行径，而小说则安排达西求婚遭拒之后即给伊丽莎白写信，解释韦翰之事。达西之所以要解释，是因为伊丽莎白误会了他，令他自尊心受挫，而待到私奔之事发生后，韦翰的品格已经暴露，解释已无太大必要。因此立即解释似乎比等到人家家中大乱再去解释更为合理。

伊丽莎白的倔强个性曾使她一度远离她的真爱达西，而独立的魅力也让达西逐渐向她靠近。真爱路上注定布满坎坷，但无论发现怎样的意外，都要保持一颗独立且珍惜的心，发下身段和地位，去勇敢前行。书中圆满的结局我深感欣慰，更默默期盼着，愿所有人都能有理性与感性的交融，真正独立的经营自己的幸福人生。

From the film I learn that we can’t judge a man immediately by the first impression. If we are controlled by our subjective senses, it will easy cause prejudice and

misunderstanding and probably influent the developments of many events. To avoid this situation, we need more communication to understand others deeply by ourselves.

简奥斯汀的作品这两年常常见诸于银幕，其生命力可见一斑。貌似简爱的作者夏洛蒂曾对她嗤之以鼻，总觉得这姑娘写着英国乡村屋檐下发生的琐碎小事，缺乏戏剧性和激情澎湃的赶脚。是的，如果说简爱像一曲奋进反抗的生命交响曲，傲慢与偏见就是一首悠闲细腻的田园小夜曲，个人有个人的爱，我更爱小夜曲。平凡人生虽然少了大风大浪的跌宕起伏，却更为平淡隽永，就像简奥斯汀借书中主人公之口表明的心迹，大意是说，城里来的人初到乡下还觉得新鲜，时日稍久就不耐烦了，觉得日子单调，人与人之间的交流总有新的话题，再小的空间也总也新的事物在发生，如果留意这有趣的一切，又怎么会觉得厌烦呢?所以她的文，总带着向上的朝气，让人不由自主地热爱生活，因为生活是多么生机勃勃的事情。

在傲慢与偏见中，开始时女主人公因为他人的诋毁和当事人的矜持高傲对当事人产生了非理性的偏见，直到后来在事态的发展中看清了事实真相，和当事人冰释误会，同时在摒弃前嫌，拿掉了有色眼镜后，发现了当事人可贵的品质和优秀的人格，正应了中国一句老话，日久见人心。她用了大量细腻的描绘来展现生活中的细节，这些细节勾勒出一个个活灵活现的人物，他们各自不同的背景，修养和思想，睿智的语言和风趣的调侃在文中随处可见，时时让人忍俊不住，没有说教，却充满生活哲理，让人有获益良多之感，不得不说，简奥斯汀可以说是有大智慧的人，虽然和我们不在同一时代，但她的很多处事信条至今仍然适用。

这是一部描写爱情与婚姻的小说。小说围绕班奈特太太如何把五个女儿嫁出去的主题展开。书中一共写了四队青年男女的结合，作者一一加以比较，批判，爱憎分明的阐述了自己的爱情与婚姻观。富有傲慢的达西和睿智具有反叛精神的伊丽莎白，温柔体贴的简和有权有势的宾利，以及莉迪亚和威克姆，夏洛蒂与柯林斯。

贝内特夫妇五个女儿待字闺中，没有子嗣，依照当时的法律，他们死后家产须由远房内侄柯林斯继承，因此把五个女儿嫁到有钱人家，成了贝内特太太最大的心愿。于是在这样的背景下展开了整个故事的架构。虽然作者在作品中没有重大的社会矛盾，但她以女性特有的细致入微的观察力，真实的描绘了她周围世界的小天地，尤其是绅士淑女间的婚姻和爱情

风波。其实小说中的班奈特太太是当时社会大多数人的缩影，爱情对她们来说是不可靠的奢侈品，她们只看重物质，看重权势。所以当富有单身的宾利来到内瑟菲尔德庄园，便成了众人注目的焦点和谈论的话题，以及小说中对军官们到来，小镇人民细微的表情和言语的描写，将当时社会风气展现的淋漓尽致。

然而作者奥斯汀是一个具有批判精神的女性，于是她塑造了一个追求纯粹的爱情，多少有些藐视权贵的伊丽莎白。虽然小说写于19世纪初叶，但是她所阐述的爱情观与婚姻观放在当下中国却也依旧是那么热点的问题。看到社会中充斥着的拜金主义，炫富事件，小三，包养等心中竟升起一种荒凉，但这也并非真爱的缺失，而是社会问题。我个人认为这种狂热的拜金主义是因为社会制度的不够完善，本来在一个市场经济国家，对金的崇拜，对物质的追求是很正常的事，然而在中国却显得有些病态了，因为在中国没钱你便无法在这个社会生存下去，在“生存”这把悬于头顶的大刀压迫下，拜金现象自然变得严重，人间的真善美也在死亡的威胁下大大贬值。而在国外，特别是欧洲，因为社会保障制度的完善，哪怕你没钱，你还可以生存，所以在国外对艺术，对学术的追求热情远高于中国，同样在那样一个安逸的社会里，爱情观也让现代中国青年向往。

在我看来婚姻的奠基本来就应该是爱情，如同伊丽莎白所追求的一样。面包与玫瑰的选择，若二者不可得兼，取玫瑰而舍面包也。这种选择或许是因为我还没有面临生活的压力，但是追求爱，追求美的确是发自内心的呼吁。

但这只是个人的做出的选择罢了，在经济学中的一个重要基本假设

那便是人的欲望是无限的，而资源是有限的，所以人们总是在不停的面临选择，而我只是出于个人偏好更侧重精神，愿意承受更大的机会成本而已。同样，有些人更侧重于物质，这只是一个选择，没有对错可言。然人毕竟是社会性动物，当大部分人做出了同样的选择，那这个选择便成了一种风气，久而久之，便成了一种习俗。之所以将题目设为“两寸牙雕”，不仅是因为《傲慢与偏见》的精巧细致，更是因为通过这个“牙雕”窥见了当时的风气，抛开爱情不谈，还有其他的一些感慨。

首先让我感慨的是当时人们对法律的敬畏和遵守因为整个故事的构架便是在依据当时法律贝内特夫妇死后财产由远房内侄继承这个源动力的作用下进行的，可见当时法治发展的水平。

其次是平等，“傲慢与偏见”这个书名便是在平等的观念下产生的，达西因为在交际舞会上不肯与他

人跳舞，让伊丽莎白认为他十分傲慢，以至于产生了偏见。要认识和结交朋友都必须与他人一同跳舞，随时更改舞伴，尽兴而为，虽然这个平等具有局限性，但这些应该便是现在欧洲国家自由，平等，法治等观念的雏形。这些从两寸牙雕中观察出的细末，让我回眼中国的当下，期待能发现更多的进步雏形。

爱情是建立在两性之间平等的基础上，这是每个现代人的共识，这却不是古往今来的共识。这个共识是经过很长历史的进化，很多人的勇敢争取来的。在男女不平等的年代，有一个女性站出来争取自由而平等的婚姻，这份勇敢就值得我们敬佩和谨记。17世纪，在英国的小镇上有一位不俗的女子，她用她的笔，为世间所有的女子指明一条爱情的正途：在相互了解，相互尊重的男女间才会有真正的爱情。

我最喜欢的《傲慢与偏见》就讲述了这样一个故事：地方土乡绅的二女儿伊丽莎白是个聪慧敏捷思想前卫的女孩子，得到了大庄园主达西先生的爱慕，达西很快求婚，但是遭到了伊丽莎白的拒绝，伊丽莎白在不明就里的情况下听信了别人的谣言，认为达西是破坏自己姐姐的爱情的罪魁祸首，她认为，达西人格很缺陷，配不上自己。可是后来，随着俩人的进一步接触，伊丽莎白发现达西并非人们传说的那样不堪，相反，他是一个正人君子，帮助别人，也帮助自己解决了很多的事情。在误会一点点解除后，有情人终成眷属。

爱情有一个过程，这个过程在于两个人的人格的是不是能走到一起，伊丽莎白和达西是两个处于不同阶级，不同环境的两个人，之间有不可避免的有隔阂，而在相处中他们渐渐的消除了这个隔阂，同时发现了对方的闪光点，互相赢得了理解，赢得了尊重，也赢得了爱情。

爱情就该是如此的：我理解你，所以我尊重你;我爱你，所以我愿意理解你。

As is known to all, Pride and Prejudice which was written by a famous English female writer Jane Austen is still a classic in English literature nowadays. Jane Austen who was born and lived her whole life in England wrote six books in her life time.

Her novels all described the lifestyle and social communications of families in the countries of England as what she is familiar with. The book Pride and Prejudice is the typical one that fully expressed Jane’s view on marriage and emphasized that the benefit on economic exerts a great influence on marriage.

The characters in the novel all had their own opinions on marriage. Mrs. Bennet, for instance, has only one aim-that of finding a good match for each of her five daughters.

As for Elizabeth, who is the second daughter in the Bennet family said that only deep love would persuade her to marry which was why she would probably end up an old maid. Lydia and Charlotte, however, were two extremes. The former just married for sex, while the latter married for a comfortable home and protection.

There are just so many different characters that were all formed under the society of England in 18’s century. Then, there was filled with unfairness between men and women. Just as what Jane Austen said,”It is a truth universally knowledge, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife. ”

One day the Bennets had a new neighbor called Bingley who was a wealthy bachelor and followed be the target of Mrs. Bennet. At a ball Bingley fell in love with Jane Bennet who’s the oldest daughter of the Bennets. Bingley’s friend Darcy also came to the ball and struck the sights, many girls liked him while he thought all of them couldn’t suit his preference, including Elizabeth. Mr. Darcy always shows others a impression of pride, having found this Elizabeth began to hate Mr. Darcy.

Before long Darcy fell in love with Elizabeth Bennett because of her lovely behavior, while Elizabeth is disgusted by his pride and has a prejudice about him. The official Wickham was welcomed by the villagers, and Elizabeth also took a shine to him. Wickham told someting about darcy,which increased Eli’s prejudice about Mr. Darcy. At

another ball Mr. Darcy invited Elizabeth to dance with him, but Eli refused him. Eli’s elder male cousin Mr. Collin came to Hertfordshire to inherit the Bennetts property by rules, he wanted to marry with one of the Bennets. Having known that Jane was already engaged with Mr. Bingley, he asked Elizabeth to marry him but was seriously rejected. At last he proposed to Charllote who was Eli’s friend.

Mr. Collins was good at flattering and he got the pastorate with the help of Lady Catherine. Once his family was invited to Rosings Garden by Lady Catherine. Elizabeth also went there with Mr. Collin and Charllote. There she met Mr. Darcy who’s Lady Catherine’s nephew.Then Mr. Darcy came to the Collins’ and confessed his love for Elizabeth, of course he was rejected impolitely.

Afterwards Mr. Darcy wrote a letter to Eli in order to remove her misunderstandings of him. Elizabeth’s uncle and aunt were also impressed by Mr. Darcy’s politeness. Gradually Eli’s prejudice of Mr. Darcy disappeared. Eventually they became couple.

In my opinion ,on the one hand,I think Elizabeth has personality ethic which caused her independent idea about love and marriage and in consequence she earned a happy

life. There’re also Eli’s sisters’ love stories served as contrasts to the female subject’s ideal marriage, such as Charlotte and Collin’s life: they do had a luxury life, but there’s no real love between them and this kind of marriage is surely a tragedy of society.On the other hand,Darcy is brave ,he did do his best to pursuit his love.

As a matter of fact,everyone has shortcomings ,after reading the story ,I did realize that we should find our advantages and disadvantages by ourselves.Moreover,it’s necessary for us to try our best to get over shortcomings.I am aware that we ought to get along with others with the same attitude.The right that seeking for happiness is equal for everyone.therefore,we should value the things that we have,and cherish the chances.

Eventually they realized and fell in love with the virtues of each other in readers’ expectation and wishes. Furthermore that Elizabeth refused Darcys courtship before accepting, still further show her defiance of marriages without love. On the contrary, Charlotte, Elizabeths friend, who thinks she is not beautiful besides having no money, chose to combine with stupid and shallow Collins out of economic considerations, and lived a ensured but dull marriage life. Similarly, Elizabeths sister, Lydia, as well as her fathers marriage is unfortunate, for they were confused by the beauty of appearance, while ignoring the moral character. They would be bound to regret for their choice all their life .

All in all, we must be for love alignment in the face of marriage; and we must will be subject to moral character in the face of love; and we must be objective and fair in the face of judging the moral character.
