of the most outstanding. The 65-year-old man from Kentucky had a dream to start

a chain of fried chicken restaurants all over the world. To realize his dream,

he knew that he needed a restaurant owner to go into partnership with him to

From the above discussion we can draw a conclusion that success comes to

anyone who keeps working perseveringly and lack of perseverance can only result

in frustration and failure.

Olympic Games is the biggest event for the players, because it holds every

four years. I remembered that my father watched the games at midnight many years

Teacher is a great job in most students’ eyes. When they are asked what

they want to be in the future, most will say they want to be a teacher and make

a contribution to the society. Indeed, we have access to the teachers all the

time and they have great influence on us. So being a teacher is a ideal job for

most students, but for me, I want to be a librarian. I like reading books so

much and once I have time, I will be immersed in these novels. Books broaden my

vision, though I can’t travel to the places, I can still know about these famous

sites from these books. Being a librarian can make me have a lot of time to

read.

Of the fruits of the year I give my vote to the orange. In the first place

it is a perennial--if not in actual fact, at least in the greengrocer’s shop. On

the days when dessert is a name given to a handful of chocolates and a little

The Ten-minute Break Between Classes Time seems to be so limited for us Senior Three students. As a result, more and more students try to study from early morning till late afternoon, even during the ten-minute breaks. In my view, taking a ten minute break between classes is equally important. Otherwise, we will feel exhausted both physically and mentally,During the ten minute break, we are supposed to do something really relaxing, we need is to have a rest, instead of getting more tired. Besides, studying during the break doesn ’ t necessarily mean that you will achieve more. So doing nothing tiring in that short period is of greater significance. As far as my ten-minute breaks are concerned, sometimes I take some simple exercise, such as having a walk with my classmates, or just a free chat to refresh myself. On that day people usually go back home to have family reunion . Each

Everyone has his favorite teacher ,so do I. My favourite teacher is Miss

Wei, our English teacher. We felt English very difficult when we began to study

English. Miss Wei had a good idea to solve the problem. One day, Miss Wei came

into the classroom with some fruits, such as apples,bananas,and oranges. She

said: “Today we are going to learn the names of the fruits. You can eat the

fruits if you can tell me their names in English . ”All the students listened

On May 12, 2008, there was an earthquake happened in Wenchuan, Sichuan

province. More than 69000 people had lost their lives, 374643 people had injured

and 17923 people could not be found in this earthquake. After the earthquake had

happened, people from all the field joined the rescue teams. At that moment,

So many children take what their parents do for them for granted, they

haven’t realized the meaning of being grateful. So they always get angry with

their parents, because they don’t get what they want. According to the news that

Recently, I have seen an impressive film—“Meet the Parents”, which is about

a woman Palm brought her boyfriend Greg to her parents’ home to spend holiday.

In the film, Greg was so dishonest to Palm’s parents that Palm’s father is

suspicious of his behavior and quality. As a result, Greg is obnoxious to all

and has to leave. As far as I am concerned, the consequence is heavily caused by

However, something strange happens in our society. There is a strange

questions. As a junior/senior student,I would love to say something as

following:

A part of students are aim too high.They always want to find easy and

comfortable jobs with high salary.But, they neglect they are just undergraduates

who lack of real experience in a company. Aim too high but lack of real

experience leads them to be frustrated:they cant find their suitable jobs and

are not interested low-salary jobs. Its a real situation in our current

society. The best solution is that our undergraduates should change their minds.

The new minds is that to be capable before getting high salary.

There is also a issue should be pay attention to. Some advertisements

say:"Only men available". Thats gender discrimination which couldnt be occured

in the modern society. With the development of our society,our women s ability

are also enhancing. Some women even can do some jobs which men couldnt do well.

It not easy to solve the gender discrimination.It needs our governments help,

our government should do some propaganda about gender eq equal and make some

rules for the companies.
