我们祖国有悠久的历史，有着许多传统节日，还有一些各具特色的民风民俗。但我最喜欢的传统节日是：春节。除夕过了，春节也就到了，新的一年开始了。

除夕那天真热闹，家家赶做年菜，到处是酒肉的香味。男女老少都穿起新衣，门外贴上了红红的对联，屋里贴好了各色的年画。除夕夜家家灯火通宵，不许间断，鞭炮声日夜不绝。在外边做事的人除非万不得已，必定赶回家来吃团圆饭。这一夜，除了很小的孩子，没有什么人睡觉都要守岁。春节的光景与除夕那天截然不同：铺户都上着板子，门前堆着昨夜燃放的爆竹纸皮，全城都在休息。男人们午前到亲戚家朋友家拜年。女人们在家中接待客人。城内城外许多寺院举办庙会，小贩们在庙外摆摊卖茶，食品和各种玩具。小孩子们特别爱逛庙会，为的是有机会到城外看看野景，可以骑毛驴，还能买到新年特有的玩具。庙会上有赛马的，还有赛骆驼的。这些比赛并不为争谁第一谁第二，而是在观众面前表演马，骆驼与骑者的美好姿态与娴熟技能。“嘭”天空中五颜六色的。原来每年必放的烟花开始了，家家户户都把自家最美的烟花放上了天空，烟花在黑色的夜空中绽开来，一个比一个光彩夺目，天空中似乎正在举行一场选美比赛。

美极了！所有人顿时停留在了那一刻，只听到烟花绽放时的惊叹声，大人们脸上露出了童真的笑容，开始回忆起自己的美好童年。同时，我们都悄悄许了愿望：希望今年我能以一个优秀的成绩考上一座中学！新的一年，新的开始。希望今年六年级的同学都一齐努力，用一个好成绩来创造自己的未来。

Once upon a time there was a miser. He hid his gold under a tree. Every week he used to dig it up.

One night a robber stole all the gold. When the miser came again, he found nothing but an empty hole.

He was surprised, and then burst into tears.All the neighbors gathered around him. He told them how he used to come and visit his gold.

"Did you ever take any of it out?" asked one of them. "No," he said, "I only came to look at it." "Then come again and look at the hole," said the neighbor, "it will be the same as looking at the gold."

从前，有个守财奴将他的金块埋到一棵树下，每周他都去把他挖出来看看。

It was sunny and hot today. I got up early at half past six. I read English

and then had breakfast. I helped my mother washed the dishes. Then I did my

homework and cleaned my room. I went shopping with my mother in the afternoon.

Then I played table tennis with my friends. In the evening I watched TV and read

a book. I really had a busy and interesting day.

我在6：30很早就起了床。我读英语然后吃早饭。我帮助母亲洗碗。然后做作业打扫房间。下午我和母亲去买东西。然后和朋友们打乒乓球。晚上我看电视、看书。我今天的确很忙、过得很有趣

是他，带着全村人的期望，走进清华。是他，走出那块流下过无数汗水的田地，来到深圳，带给我一个舒适的生活。是他，带着小时候的我，抓鱼摸虾，给我一个快乐无比的童年。他总是带给我无穷的希望。

他，就是我的偶像!一位平凡的不能再平凡，且又伟大的不能再伟大的父亲———我的爸爸!

我爱他。因为他当年以优异的成绩走进清华大学，除了聪明的脑袋和智慧的学习方法外，靠得是一股坚忍不拔的毅力和意志。清晨六点，他帮爷爷奶奶干农活，然后，骑车十多里路到学校。路上，他一边踩着自行车，一边在脑海里背默英语单词。课堂上，他把老师讲解的要点难点一一牢记，学会学懂，在学校里迅速地完成家庭作业。放学后，他飞奔回家。帮助爷爷奶奶再干一些农活。他是全村中学生中农活干得最多的，却总是学习成绩最好的一个。

我爱他。一个充满了孩子气的爸爸。忆起儿时最快乐的事，莫过于和爸爸一起在小河边、田地里、树林中嬉戏游玩。他抓大鱼，我抓小虾。他用竹叶编小笼子，然后把我找到的蟋蟀放进去。他教我用一种树叶做笛子，吹出来的声音虽然不是很清脆，但是我们都乐此不彼。你看那张照片，一对父子，手里合捧着一条大鱼，笑不合拢的两张大嘴巴露出两副大牙齿，多么朴实和天真，一点都不掩饰从心里往外冒的快乐。与其说是一对父子，不如说是一对玩伴。

我爱他。我的一点点进步，总少不了他对我的教导和督促。一道道题目，一个个定理……，在无限快乐的童年时，他同时又不断地对我灌输寻找规律的意识。在快乐的学习中，他成了我的一个形影不离的老师。当然，他严厉的时候，我心里也会犯怵，这个时候，往往都是我学习上出了问题的时候，例如：上课走神、对问题不求甚解、作业马虎等等。我都奇怪为什么他总像是我肚子里的蛔虫，知道我的点滴心思，我的一点点小动作都逃不过他的眼睛。但偶像就是偶像，生了一阵子闷气后，我又不得不佩服他对我的了解和观察竟是如此细致入微。细想起来，肯定是因为我的血液里流着他的血液吧。

所以，我爱我的爸爸，他是我的偶像。

Today, I did housework for grandmother. She is not

very healthy and I decide to do housework for her more frequently. And she will

feel happy and become better. Suddenly, an idea hit me that it’s terrible to

grow old becuase you have to worry about both your health and others’ opinions.

Once again, I make a decision to be a good girl.

My favourite animal is cat. Cats are quiet and polite. They always walk lordly. Cats are cute. They have soft fur. When I touch them, they look comfortable. Cats have big eyes. Some cats eyes are green, some are blue, and some are grey. Even some cats two eyes have different colour. Cats sound is pleasant to listen to. Their sound is soft too. Otherwise, cats can catch mice. They are humans friends. I love cats very much. Do you like cats?

Instant Noodles

Two years ago, I like to eat instant noodles very much, the instant noodles smell so delicious, because there are tasty flavor in it. When my mother was not at home, I would buy the instant noodles, as the time went by, I found my skin became bad and I would not like to eat rice. I felt so bad, my mother told me that I should not eat so much instant noodles, they contained no vitamins and also frustrated my appetite. I realized my problem and started to stay away from instant noodles, then my appetite became good and I wanted to eat rice again. Instant noodles are junk food, we’d better eat it less.

两年以前，我很喜欢吃泡面，泡面闻起来很香，因为有美味的调料在里面。当我妈妈不在家的时候，我会买泡面吃，随着时间的流逝，我发现我的皮肤变得不好，我也不怎么喜欢吃米饭。我感到糟糕极了，我的妈妈告诉我我不应该吃那么多的泡面，这些没有营养，也让我胃口不好。我意识到了我的问题，开始不吃泡面，我的胃口变好了，也有食欲吃米饭。泡面是垃圾食品，我们最好少吃。
