屈原是战国时期出国人，很有学问。他在楚王身边做官，以形象是自己的国家富强起来。昏君楚王却听信奸臣的话，把屈原削职流放。在流放中，屈原听说楚国的都城被敌人占领，百姓遭难，悲愤极了。五月初五这一天，他来到汨罗江边，怀抱一块石头，以纵身跳入汨罗江中。出国的百姓听到屈原投江的消息，都十分悲痛。他们含着泪划着船赶来打捞屈原，还把粽子扔到江里喂鱼，希望鱼儿不要伤害屈原的身体。这就是五月端阳包粽子的来历。

端午节还有许多有趣的活动。列如赛龙舟，挂香囊，香囊内有朱砂、雄黄、香药，外包以丝布，清香四溢，再以五色丝线弦扣成索，作各种不同形状，结成一串，形形色色，玲珑夺目。还有挂艾叶、菖蒲的习惯。

端午节的活动可真多啊!

Most people has a sweet home, so have I. I think my home is sweet because

it is my best place to have rest or have fun with my friends or my parents.

许多人拥有一个甜蜜的家，我也有。我认为我的家是甜蜜的，因为它是我休息、与父母、朋友一起玩乐的地方。

I can remember clearly. Once I came back home late because my teacher

didnt want me leave until I finished my homework. At that time, the weather

became colder and the wind became stronger. I was so hungry and cold at that

time! I felt I cant take it any more, so I ran to my home quickly. When I got

my home, I felt much more warmer and happiness than ever before!

我可以清楚地记着。有一次，直到我完成作业，老师才肯放我回家，所以我就回来晚了。那时候，天气更冷了，风也变得更大了。在那时，我又冷又饿。我觉得自己无法承受了，所以我迅速地跑回家。当我到家的时候，我感到从未有过的温暖和幸福。

Thats why I love my sweet home. Dont you think so?

这就是为什么我爱自己的甜蜜之家。难道你不是这么认为的么?

Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is, time always goes on.

It won’t stay to wait for somebody. You can’t use anything to exchange time.

Time is also a fair thing. Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high

reputation, time won’t leave them more. Today I found I hadn’t enough time.

Although I have more than a-month holiday, but I found I had a lot of things to

do. I had a lot of homework to do and I am essential to complete the homework as

soon as I have time.

今天，我发现时间是一个残忍的事情。无论男人，总是对的时间。它不会留下来等待某人。您不能使用任何交流时间。时间也是一个公平的事情。虽然你有很多钱，或者您享有很高的声誉，时间不会离开他们更多。今天，我发现我已经没有足够的时间。虽然我已经超过一个月假期，但我发现我有很多事情要做。我有很多功课要做，我必须完成的功课只要我有时间。

I do not like teamwork in most time. Because I think it is hard for the

whole team to hold the same view. It is a waste of time to argue with each other

then make a compromise. But recently I have really seen the great power of

teamwork.

Last week we had a play competition. Because of some reasons, we had not

decided the play two days before the competition. Our monitor called the actors

and actresses who had been decided together. Then they think about every plot

together. To my surprise, it seemed that everybody had his or her good idea.

They gave up their weekend to practice the play. Finally our team won good marks

and were given the opportunity to participate in the final competition.

Teamwork is really powerful. No matter learning in school or working in the

future, we have to work in a team sometimes. So, try to establish the spirit of

teamwork. It will surely help you achieve success.

在大多数时间我不喜欢团队合作。因为我认为它是困难的为整个团队持有同样的观点。这是一个浪费时间争论然后互相妥协。但最近我真的见过伟大的团队合作的力量。

上周我们有一个玩的竞争。因为一些原因,我们没有决定竞争前的玩两天。我们的班长叫男女演员曾决定在一起。然后他们一起思考每一个情节。令我惊奇的是,似乎每个人都有他或她的好主意。他们放弃了周末练习。最后给出我们的团队赢得了好成绩,参加总决赛的机会。

团队合作真的很强大。无论在学校学习或工作在未来,有时我们必须在一个团队工作。所以,尝试建立团队合作的精神。它一定会帮助你取得成功。

The summer vacation is coming. I will do my homework first so I am going to

do my homework every morning. In the afternoon， I will play basketball and table

tennis with my friends. In the evening I will read English and listen to English

program. Sometimes I will go and visit my grandparents and help them do some

housework. I am going to take a piano class. My parents and I will go to Hainan

for about a week. I believe I will have a busy and interesting summer

vacation.

暑假即将到来.首先我要做好我的功课，所以我要每一天早上做功课.下午，我将我的朋友们一齐玩篮球和乒乓球.在晚上，我会读英语，听英语课程.有时我会去访问我的祖父母和帮忙他们做一些家务.我要带一个钢琴班.我的父母和我将前往海南为一个星期左右.我相信我将有一个忙碌而搞笑的暑假.

对于狗，相信大家都不会陌生，但要真说起狗来，却有很为难。

狗咬吕洞宾，不识好人心，狗眼看人低……都没有一个是好听的其实事实上狗却没有所说的那么难听啊！它还可以为人类做很大的贡献呢！

狗的听觉敏锐相信大家都知道，无论白天夜里，它都竖着两只耳朵，坚守自己的岗位，只要稍有一点点动静，它都能发现。人们就利用狗的这一特性，驯养狗来看家。

我在新闻上还看到过这样一个报道：在一个贫困的山村里，有一个贫困的农民家庭，他们家有两头牛，而这两头牛，也几乎是他们家的命根子。因为家里穷，所以这两头牛每天只能在门口的大树下过夜。即便晚上有人偷了，也是神不知，鬼不觉的。后来有一天晚上，有两个人对这牛打起了主意。刚走到树下想动手，正巧，这家人养有一条大狗，一听到动静，就狂叫起来，周为的人被吵醒了，家家户户都开灯出来看热闹。这时那两个小偷感觉不对劲，想逃跑，可他们最终还是没能逃走，被警方抓获了。回头想想，这也要全归功于那条狗啊！

有人说：“狗咬耗子是多管闲事”，我却不这么认为。举个例子吧，在一种情况下，有一个小还正在玩耍，没有大人在他身旁，如果此时出现一个耗子，正要危害那小孩，如果这耗子有毒，被咬者则毒发身亡，无药可救，而此时也没有猫出现，在这千均一发的时刻，出来了一条狗，把耗子咬死，救了那小孩一命，那还会是多管闲事吗？所以说，只要在适当的场合，做适当的事，不一定就是多管闲事了。

其实狗也很了不起啊，抓坏人，保护人民的财产和生命，我们处处受它的益，却不曾感激过它，这又算什么呢？看事物不能只看到他的缺点，也要看到他的优点。
