走进熟悉的大门，院内显得很冷清。长椅上三三两两坐着几个爷爷奶奶，没精打采晒着秋日的暖阳，偶尔睁开双眼漠然地看看匆匆经过的路人。我们顺梯而上，活动室空无一人。我将牛奶、香蕉、葡萄打开，这些都是我去超市精挑细选适合老人的食品。挨个房间，亲切的喊着，卧床的王爷爷，耳背的熊奶奶……双手递上礼物，嘴里介绍着自己，并祝爷爷奶奶健康长寿，爷爷奶奶欣喜地接过礼物，笑着连声夸奖我。张奶奶招呼我在她门前的椅子坐下，用她那干枯的手拉着我的手，满脸慈祥地看着我，问我的姓名、年龄、学校……我也问奶奶的身体怎样?吃得怎样?儿女经常来探望吗?你一句我一句的聊着。离开时，张奶奶告诉我，以后不要带礼物，来看看，来聊聊天，她们就心满意足了，并鼓励我好好学习，考上好大学，做个有用的人……

这时，院子里的爷爷奶奶陆陆续续的回来了，我主动给大家表演了我准备的节目，快板《两头忙》、《骗坐》，现场的气氛顿时热闹起来。诙谐的语言，夸张的动作，惹得爷爷奶奶哈哈大笑，他们鼓着掌，意犹未尽，像个孩子似的喊着：“再来一个，再来一个”。

相聚是短暂的，很远还能看到爷爷奶奶依依不舍的挥着手，满眼的期待……“树欲静而风不止，子欲养而亲不待”，我们要把握现在，抽出时间孝敬长辈，他们最需要的是最简单的陪伴!

当我走在回家的路上，突然觉得很难过。我想从小到大，这条路一直都是我一个人在走，一直都是。于是我才明白，原来我是一个这么寂寞的人。我一直都是一个渴望被爱的孩子，希望每个人都注意到我，在乎我。但我却无法敞开胸怀的去接受一个人。所以我想我是个会寂寞一辈子的人。

我不怕，因为我早已习惯。但我知道，如果我一直这样下去，就得不到幸福。一个人如果连幸福都不能拥有，那他还能有什么?

Water is very important for us. We must drink water everyday. We can’t live without water. Water is everywhere around us. I dont remember how many examinations Ive taken since I began my schooling. Truth to tell, I dont like examinations at all. I dare say that, in fact, no student likes examinations.

We often hear people say “Examinations are teachers magic weapon”, so most of us may think it is our teachers who give us students so many examinations. But I dont think so. Almost all of them have once been students before they became teachers. We dont like examinations, and neither do our teachers, which may be reasonably concluded. Whats more,the more examinations we take, the more time will be taken from our teachers and the more troubles our teachers have to take.

It is the system in our country, I think, that gives us students so many examinations. If there were no entrance examinations, and all the students could go up to the higher grades without competition, there would not be so many examinations in primary and middle schools. So it is important and necessary to reform the entrance system. Only in this way can examinations be GREatly reduced, and then all the students will be happier.

That was a morning in the early of June. I took a bus to my school in the suburb which was surrounded by rice paddies and ponds. The sky was gray with the gloomy clouds congregating gradually along the far eastern horizon. "There must be a heavy rain soon." I spoke to myself.

Christmas is one of the most important celebrations of the year for the western countries. it falls on the twenty- fifth of december and has the same importance as chinese new year to people with english backgrounds. the celebration is for the birth of jesus christ, who is the son of god in christianity. now days christmas is no longer only celebrated by the christians, but by most people from all over the world.

On the twenty- fourth of december everyone gets excited for it’s the day before christmas which is called christmas eve. the children are usually sent to bed early and are warned that “santa claus will only come and give you a present if you be good.” the younger kids actually believe that santa will come down the chimney on the sleigh that’s pulled by his reindeers. food like short bread and beer are prepared for santa when he comes, however most times parents just eat them. some children put socks and sacks up for the holding of the presents (that their parents put in).

Rise and shine on christmas morning! the children are always the first ones to wake up, some even do at four. present wrappers everywhere! they look into their presents with a big smile on their face and oh dear….i hope no one’s disappointed. i feel sorry for anyone that got pink underwear. children play while dinner is prepared by the adults. the christmas dinner are usually eaten together by relatives. the tradition of christmas pudding and roosters are usually eaten with deserts afterwards. the rest of the day is usually games and fun before the good days all come to an end.

张家界以峰称奇，素有“奇峰三千”之称。整个风景区，连绵重迭着数以千记的石峰，显示出这一带地形的丰富多彩。从海拔1334米的最高峰“兔儿望月”，到海拔300米的“水绕四门”，三千多座石峰，拔地而起，鳞次节比，蔚为壮观。那些高高低低、大小不一的奇峰，有的孤峰突起，有的群峰对峙，有的上大下小，令人匪夷所思。张家界之峰奇就在于模拟宇宙万物，有的像喝得醉醺醺的罗汉，有的像手捧鲜花的仙女，有的像威武的勇士，有的像擎天的巨柱……登高凭眺，群峰尽收眼底，是峰的海洋，漫步于峰林其中，景随步异，无所不有，你会由衷得为大自然之神奇造化而感慨万千。

张家界的山令人拍案叫绝，水则令人心旷神怡。山与水的相互脚映，描绘出一幅幽雅的图画。而在众多的溪水中，金鞭溪更富魅力。四十多里的金鞭溪是一条天然的溪流，是因金鞭岩得名。听导游说，这溪水的源头在山上，冬暖夏凉，到了冬天也不会结冰，依旧向东流去。我走上前去，看见在晶莹、清澈的溪水中一簇簇“鲜花”盛开着。那“鲜花”像愉快的小天使，在悠闲地游着。溪底那各色的卵石在阳光的照耀下如宝石般闪闪发亮。看到这，我按捺不住内心的激动，和妹妹一齐卷起裤筒，到溪里趟着潺潺的溪水嬉戏，捉鱼儿、小蟹子，还打起了水仗来。在当时，微风伴着花草的清香，不时抚摸着我的脸，它不仅给了我扑鼻的香味，还给我带来了凉爽的感觉。

游览结束了。我们不得不回家了。我坐在返家的汽车上，看着那鬼斧神工的座座山峰，心中不由地升起一股眷恋之情。

转眼间，马上就要到“三八”妇女节了，我想送妈妈一份特殊的礼物，因为妈妈平时很忙，工作很辛苦，还要操持家务，所以我想在这个节日里，送妈妈一份特殊的礼物，给她一个惊喜。经过几天的“思考”，决定开始行动。平常好似小公主的我，最近也特别勤快，看到这儿，聪明的的你应该知道我的礼物就是帮妈妈干活，替她分担家务。

可是我这个“小公主”都不知道该从何“下手”，因为我平时自己不做家务，该干的事都要大人提醒，我只好找“援兵”老爸，老爸说道：“叠被子，整理书籍，收拾衣物，扫地等等，都可以呀!”“哦，我明白了。”几天后的早上，老妈又在我早晨还未起床时，就出去办事了，醒来后发现妈妈不在家，我就定了一个 “周密” 的计划。首先开始进行第一项——叠被子，刚开始这个大家伙怎么叠也叠也不整齐，不管横着叠，还是坚着叠，都叠的歪歪扭扭的，我赌气地自言自语道： “就这样吧，管它呢!”又转念一想，不行，我一定要叠好才行，于是又精心地干了起来，过了一刻钟，总算是叠好了。接下来就是扫地，因为平时我没干过，拿起笤帚不知道怎么用力，只知道狠命地用力，所以灰尘一下子就就飘荡了起来，害得我直咳嗽。还有就是扫了这块那块又落下，总是扫不干净，但我不气馁，最后终于费了九牛二虎之力才扫干净。后来我又整理了书籍，把东一件西一件的衣服叠起来放到衣柜里。

下午，老妈回来了，看到整洁的家惊诧地问：“宝贝，是谁帮妈妈收拾的家呀?”“猜啊，想想!”妈妈定了定说：“是你…”“老妈，你平时很辛苦，今天是“三八”节，这是我送您的礼物，祝您节日快乐!”妈妈激动地把我抱了起来说：“这是妈妈收到的最特殊、最好的礼物。”

The wind gently murmured,puffed and sometimes sighed like a summer breeze lifting the leaves along the livelong night.The cat was curling up quiet in her bed.The mouse was sleeping carefree in his gallery.The dog was lying swwet on the sofa.Even the earth itself was sleeping in tranquility,exept that some house door faintly creaked upon its hinge,telling us a remote inward warmth.Nature was at her midnight work with feathery flakes whirling down in the wind,as if she was showering her silvery seeds over the fields.

Finally I woke up.The floor creaked under my feet as I moved towards the window.The snow as warm as cotton was lying calmly upon the window sill and the stillness of the morning was extremely impressive.

The roofs were standing under their snow caps,while the eaves were wearing their glittering ornaments.The trees raised white arms to the sky on every side,and where there was a wall,there were some fantastic forms of snow stretching exhilarated in the dim landscape,as if Nature had carved her fresh desighs by night as models for mans art.

Silently,I opened the door and stepped outside to face the cutting air.The moon had already lost some of its glow and the land was bathed in a dull mist.A lurid light in the east proclaimed the approach of day while the weatern landscape was bleak with some spooky stillness like a wizard kingdom.What you could only hear was the creepy sounds,seemingly out of the hell----the barking of dogs,the hammering of blacksmith,the lowing of cows and the crying of pigs under the butchers knife.

Gradually,the lurid light darkened and spread across the west.Every flower,every tree and

every weed were bathed in the sunshine.Suddenly,it turned out that all the sounds were not for any melancholy they suggested,but for their twilight bustle which was too solemn and mysterious for me.

I moved om,treading briskly along the road,the dry and crisped snow crunching under my feet.
