Summer can be very hot in southern xx where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim.

In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

在我的打工生活中，我也明白了许多：在日常的工作中上级欺压、责备下级是不可避免的。虽然事实如此，但这也给我上了宝贵的一课。它让我明白到别人批评你或是你听取他人的意见时，一定要心平气和，只有这样才能表示你在诚心听他说话。虽然被批评是很难受的，而且要明确表示你是真心在接受他们的批评。因为这样才能在失败中吸取教训，为以后的成功铺路。我们要学会从那里跌倒就从哪里爬起来，这才是我所应该做的。

我也从工作中学习到了人际交往和待人处事的技巧。在人与人的交往中，我能看到自身的价值。人往往是很执着的。可是如果你只问耕耘不问收获，那么你一定会交得到很多朋友。对待朋友，切不可斤斤计较，不可强求对方付出与你对等的真情，要知道给予比获得更令人开心。不论做是事情，都必须有主动性和积极性，对成功要有信心，要学会和周围的人沟通思想、关心别人、支持别人。

打工的日子，有喜有忧，有欢乐，也有苦累，也许这就是打工生活的全部吧。我不知道多少打工的人有过这种感觉，但总的来说，这次的打工生活是我人生中迈向社会的重要一步，是值得回忆的。现在想起来，两个月的打工生活，我收获还是蛮大的。我所学到的生活的道理是我在学校里无法体会的，这也算是我的一分财富吧。

社会真的是很残酷，很现实。我唯一庆幸的是我还是一名在校学生，我只有真正的把本领学好，才能在未来真正进入社会时不至于这样不知所措.

这次的打工是一个开始，也是一个起点，我相信这个起点将会促使我逐步走向社会，慢慢走向成熟!

It was the first day of our summer holiday.All of us were very happy. Why? My summer vacation of this year was very enjoyable. I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays. It is very beautiful there. 听到了口令，大家蜂拥而上、扑入杀坑、奋力挖掘，一下子就挖到了几块字母。只用了不到一分钟的时间里，大家就找到了四块字母，就连几个平时十分懒惰的同学，在这个游戏里表现十分勤快。我在一个地方一下子发现了两块字母，美国老师十分的高兴。大于过了十分钟大家已经筹集了十九块字母，字母越来越稀少，

字母也越来越难找了我们大家奋力挖掘，最后，经过了大家的努力，我们一共挖到了二十二块字母，这个游戏真是有趣。

我们又来到了另外一个游戏场地，在这个排球场旁边居然放着一个蓝色的巨球，没有错，这个游戏就是打巨球。游戏规则是：在规定的时间里，双方要把这个蓝色的巨球扔到对方的地区，就可得到一分，出界，对方就可得到一分。开始比赛，我们发球，只见，我们的一个队员把球一扔，重重地扣到了对方的场地，好的!发球得分，我们的队员高兴地唱起了歌。后面的比赛越来越精彩，越来越激烈。例如这个球：我们把球扔了过去，他们几个居然抢了起来，几个人抢到了篮筐下，真是有趣。

暑假参加英语夏令营真是一个不错的选择。

随着时代的进步，暑假里，在我家也冒出了一系列新鲜事，用时髦一点的名词来说，也就是改革吧。

其中一件事，就是我在家里"打工。因为这样一来，搬走了我衣来伸手，饭来张口的铁交易，二来：免去了我每月拿零用钱的铁工资，三嘛：打破妈妈独揽家务的铁饭碗。虽说是打工，但只是干轻微的家务活，光看，我也会做了，于是我二话没说，答应了关于打工的事。

第二天，我这个小小打工仔就开始忙上了。可望着满桌的饭碗菜碟我犹豫了，是先洗碗，还是先掰菜?是先扫地，还是先擦桌子?我拍拍脑门，求援似的看着在一旁似笑非笑的妈妈，妈妈的目光像是在对我说：不是每天看惯了吗?怎么还不会?妈妈走在我身旁，给了我指导。

在妈妈的指导下，我先把碗碟搬到橱柜里，再把桌子擦干净，最后扫起地来，这一切都是那么的紧张地进行着。由于是第一次，我是顾了这头忘了那头，忙得不亦乐乎，好不容易做完了家务，我深深地吸了一口气。唉：累死人了，真不知道妈妈每天是怎么干的，这使我第一次感到了辛苦了滋味，也第一次挣到了一元钱。

打工延续了一个月，我挣了30元，下个月的零花钱也有了，不仅如此，通过这段时间的锻炼，我干家务的速度也提高了。

妈妈说：以后还干吗?我毫不犹豫地回答：当然干，至于工资嘛……枪毙，免费服务。我阳光灿烂地说。

啊!时间终于到了，可以去领我的工资了。爽呀!数数看，我一共搬了112块，那个胖子用脏兮兮的手把12块5毛钱拿给了我。我兴冲冲的拿这我的战力品奔回了家。高兴的把它放进了以抛弃了很久的存钱罐。哇，太棒了，这12.5块钱是由我自由支配的，爸爸妈妈也管不了了。哈哈哈哈!我正高兴着呢，老妈在房间外用超过120分贝的嗓门隔着门对我喊：“女儿，吃饭拉。”每当这时候，我总是败在老妈的嗓子下。没办法，本人去也!
