刚开始，运动员们的奔跑速度都旗鼓相当，没有多大的差距。它们整整齐齐地排成了一队，同学们都开始紧张起来，高举双拳，为自己班级的运动员加油。到了第一个拐点，同学们都瞪大了眼睛，紧张的说不出一句话来。心也随着运动员的步伐“咚咚咚”地剧烈跳动着。“李延军赶超了!”只见李延军同学一个箭步，从第二名一下子跃到领头——第一名!可是第二名也不甘示弱，咬紧牙关，脸涨得通红，追赶李延军。李延军不慌不忙，竟然和他玩儿起了——“拉锯战”：第二名快追上他了，李延军就以最快的速度向前冲刺。如果第二名被他甩在后面，李延军就以匀速奔跑，直到耗到第二名筋疲力尽，李延军才开始冲刺。

谁知，“姜还是老的辣”，第二名早已预料到了这一点。他并没有落后，而是紧随着李延军。“砰”地一声，决胜圈——最后一圈的枪声打响了。李延军渐渐的有些体力不支，张开嘴巴边喘气边跑步。同学们的心顿时提到了嗓子眼上，还有的女生不顾大家的阻拦，毅然冲上跑到为他加油。可是，为时已晚，第二名拼命的甩动胳膊，飞一般的冲向终点。李延军早已身疲力竭，失去了前进的动力。只能与他相差无几，而位居第二。

这真是一场别开生面地运动会啊!但随着岁月的推移，这也能成为最后一段珍贵的记忆了。
