But being taller, even the upper world of the refrigerator top is no longer a myth and your mom and dad can’t hide your snacks up there any more! As time goes on, you can easily see on the table the beautiful lavenders or lilies stretching themselves in their own fragrant smell, the shining toaster popping out warm tasty toast, or the little drops of water glittering under bright sunshine after your mom wipes the table. Don’t you just love to see every phase of the moon even when they are not that high up in the sky?

Well, I do. Being a 5 ft 10 myself, I am also taking the advantage of buying a larger outfit at a same price. Also, I get a cleaner view of the blackboard even when sitting far away from it. I run faster, jump higher and can think positively. I am proud to say that I possess the ability to see the upside of almost everything. I guess it is because I am closer to the clear blue sky above our heads.

首先，应该先纠正自己的学习态度。“态度决定一切！”心态是取得成功的一个非常关键的环节，拥有好的心态，就会拥有好的成绩！

暑假即将来临。多么的兴奋啊！我已经为我的暑假制定了计划。首先，我会去香港拜访我的婶婶。之后我会和她呆一段时间。因为香港是购物天堂，当然我会叫我婶婶陪我一起去购物。我还要吃那里美味的食物。然后我就会回家。我知道学习是最重要的。所以回去之后我会先完成我的暑假作业。之后我就会和我的朋友出去玩。再之后我就会好好的休息来为回校做好准备。

一个愉快的暑假过去了，又盼来了一个新的学期。

现在我已经是四年级的学生了，四年级是中高年级的基础，如果四年级没学好，到了五六年级学习就会相对困难，因此我给自己制订了一份新学期计划。

首先，我要改正不好的习惯。要：关心集体、帮助同学、上课认真听讲、积极举手发言……其次，要做到每课前课前预习和课后复习，并完全掌握所学的课内知识，争取每次考试成绩达到80分以上。另外，还要改掉一些坏毛病：学习上有时粗心、做作业拖拉时间。接着，我要抓紧课余时间，大量阅读各类书籍，了解各种课外知识，做一个知识渊博的人。我三年级和四年级上册英语成绩不理想，我决定在这方面加倍努力，做个德智体全面发展的人。

日月如梭，时光似箭，转眼间，又到一年开学时。早晨，当我迈着轻快的脚步踏进校园时，心里却还留恋着暑期生活。

这个暑假，可以说是我最效率的一个暑假。时间的紧迫也是以往所没有的，大不像小学毕业的那个暑假，一点作业也没有，没事人一般。最值得一提的是，我还同病魔做了一番斗争。

一放假，我就得了阑尾炎，医生说得开刀，于是我就住医院了。在病房里的日子，时间过得奇慢，一天要挂五瓶消炎水，总是定量不变的。时间就像吊针上的那个小圆柱体一般。消炎水一滴一滴地留下来，正如时间缓缓流去。闷得慌的时候，也只有拿起一张报纸，或是一本书来打发时间。心里祈望着，消炎水能滴地快些，时间也流得快些。终于，在这祈望中，迎来了出院的日子—7月9日。然而一个电话，我又不得不放弃20天的休息时间—开始补课了。

补课的时间，又不像出院那么难熬，毕竟有事情做了，时间也就过得快了，也就不再无聊了。

八月份，千呼万盼始出来了，然而，面对我的又是一大堆一字未碰的作业，下午还要去学游泳。于是，我又开始祈望，这次，我盼望时间能过得慢些，作业能做得快些。接下来的日子，我开始忙碌起来，一天的安排都满了。一个月，又要完成作业，又要学游泳，留给我支配的时间已经非常吝啬了。一天从早晨开始，就坐在写字台前，读书写作业，下午三点学游泳。时间日复一日地流着，而我也日复一日的忙碌着。终于，八月二十一日，我做完了作业，游泳也取得了2分03的成绩，比去年的100米成绩提高了23秒。接下来，我开始自由搭配时间，到快开学前几天，我开始复习，为期初考试做准备。

又到一年开学时，两个月的暑期生活让人难忘，然而，我们又将迎接更大地挑战。初二，我们出发了！

开学了，两个多月的假日，梦一般的过去了。新的学期又已来临。我们又回到了熟悉而亲切的校园。看着久违的同学和老师，我们感到兴奋不已，大家谈笑风生，快活极了。今天是开学的第一天，天气格外晴朗，我们从三楼教室换到了四楼，我们学校的餐厅也装饰了一下，餐桌和餐椅都崭新崭新的，电脑教室的电脑也全部换过了，网速瞬间变快了许多，音乐教室的乐器黑板课桌椅等一些音乐用品都也换成了新的，还有我们的宣传窗、舞蹈教室等一些地方都重新装修了一下，舒服极了。

在宽敞明亮的教室里，老师给我们发下了崭新的课本。我双手抚摸着新课本，望着闪亮的封面，闻着油墨的清香，心里有说不出的高兴和感慨。在新学期里，我有一个新的目标―――不要做语言的巨人，要成为行动的主人!我知道了成功不是靠梦想来实现，而是靠自己的行动。学习并不是一种兴趣，而是一种责任，是我应该做而且必须做好的事情，同时学习必定会有负担。没有苦累的过程，就不会有进步和提升。

俗话说得好：“一分耕耘，一分收获。”学习是件愉快的事情，我们要像海绵一样，努力从书中吸取知识之水，把握现在，才会有美好的将来。再说，经过几个月的紧张学习，丰富多彩的假期生活又会来临。让我们在新的学期里，更加努力学习，争取更大的进步吧!
