My birtiday is on 24th May. I always have both happy and sad feelings on my birthday. Why I am happy? I have group of friends that come over to celebrate with me. And they give me birthday presents, sometimes the gifts surprised me very much. Also, I can feel how much my family loves me because my parents always make a birthday cake for me. 马上就要升上五年级了，成为高年级学生，那得让人多开心啊！

邻居家的三位大姐姐却说：“你不要以为五年级会很快乐，其实，上了五年级，做作业的时间可就得花一个小时左右，可累了！”她们说得很认真。学校老师也说了，从五年级开始，80分以上都算“A”了，证明五年级的学习内容比四年级更难，并且，班主任还说，也许五年级以后就不会再教我们了，会更换新的班主任，这使我对五年级的新生活十分紧张。

我认为五年级的课程内容会越来越多，导致做作业的时间会越来越长，课外阅读和玩游戏的时间会越来越少，班主任可能越来越严格。妈妈说，同学之间的学习成绩会慢慢地拉开距离，差的更差，好的更好，如果不把握好节奏，学霸也会变成学渣。

新的学期开始了，我给自己制定了一份学期计划：

1、学习态度：学习态度要端正，上课不搞小动作，认真听讲，积极发言，仔细每一道题，不懂就问，主动和同学们商量，向教师们请教。

2、语文方面：阅读和作文是我的弱项，这学期我要在家多看些成语、词语的书，增加我的词汇量，多读课外书，积累好词佳句，用到作文中，提高我的作文成绩，平时多查字典，对不认识的字、词加深印象，以后在作业中要认真写字。

3、数学方面：数学虽不是很好，但我还是比较满意，在新学期里，我不能满足于现状，因为我在数学这方面还有很多缺点：做题马虎，不认真审题，丢三落四针对这些缺点，我决定要做每一题的时候都要认真读题，把关键字圈起来。遇到计算题要看清数字，认真计算，最后还要认真验算。

4、班级管理方面：作为一名班长，我要做到以身作则，处处做同学样的榜样，还要协助班主任完成学校布置的各项工作，当好老师的小帮手。

5、不挑吃，不挑穿，为爸爸妈妈做些力所能及的事情。

The Spring Festival is my most favorite festival, because it’s time for

family gathering. And the Spring Festival is a new start of a year. It brings me

hope and courage. On Spring Festival, my parents usually take me back to my

hometown. My hometown is a small town. Many of my relatives move to the larger

cities, but we usually go home when the Spring Festival comes. During the

gathering, we share our lives with others and care about each other. Of course,

big meals are necessary. Families prepare for the big meals together. They all

stay at home for three days and then we leave with others’ wishes. I like the

我们的老师也变了，有些变得严肃可怕;有心变得和蔼可亲。例如：开学第一天，我们上午的第四节课是体育课，那节课，简直是折腾人。当时，上课铃声一响，我们班全体到了操场，可是不知什么原因，老师过来叫我们先运动一下，然后要我们跑六圈，六圈是什么概念，而且当时还是大太阳。这让我们许多同学都纷纷叫苦，可那有什么办法呢，学生必须听老师的。我们只能忍住抱怨，跑完六圈。六圈跑完以后，同学们的脸已经比打腮红还红，脸上冒着热汗，背上的衣服完全打湿了。
