The Olympic Opening Ceremony was an international event and the whole world was watching! The event was held in a stadium designed to seat a large group of people.

I often go to see my grandma and grandpa during winter vacation. They are both seventy years old and live in the country happily. I can do many interesting things there. I’m a student of Huayang No. 1 Middle School. In front of our school gate is a street, on both sides of which are many shops and restaurants. Every day during rush hour, especially at noon, stalls selling everyday goods and food appear on the street, which makes it terriblycrowded. First, cars and passersby have difficulty in passing through the street. Thus it makes it dangerous for the students to go in or out of school. Secondly, the street is made dirty with so many plastic bags and waste water everywhere.
