The person I admire is my teacher. She is an English teacher. She is very popular among the students because she spends lots of time on her lessons and has a good sense of humor. Students all enjoy her class. My teacher is not only a good teacher, but also a great mother. She is patient with me and always smiling while talking. My teacher teaches me how to think independently and helps me to build up my confidence. When I have some difficulties in my studies, it is my mum who encourages me to work until I solve the problem. When Im feeling sad or bad, it is also my teadher who looks after me with care.

I remember when I caught a fever at midnight last year, my teacher took me to the hospital as fast as she could. When we got home after my injection, it was about 5 oclock in the early morning. How I Spent My Summer Vacation The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. In our class, every student has a big kettle (水壶). But sometimes there is no water in some kettles. My friend Mike and I often fill1 them with water.

Every day at lunchtime, we take lots of kettles downstairs. We run from the sixth floor to the first floor. The kettles are heavy. But we are happy. It’s fun to help others. At the same time, we get closer with our classmates by helping each other.

It was fine on March 12, I got up early that day . All the students in our school went to the hill to plant trees .

We arrived at the hill at eight oclock . The teacher asked each of us to plant at least six trees . Then we started digging , planting and watering . We all worked so hard that we could finish our tasks ahead of tim e.

Among us , our monitor set a good example for us . Though he was ill , he worked harder . When he finished his task , he went on to help others without even a little rest. He was wet all over after work .“ I must learn from him ,” I said to myself . Looking at the lines of the young trees , we smiled happily, forgetting our tiredness.
