在家人的宠爱下，我逐渐养成了一种坏习惯，那就是顿顿吃饭总爱剩饭。每当这个时候，爷爷奶奶会无奈地摇着头，唉声叹气地说：“唉!现在的孩子，真是身在福中不知福啊，你看看，这么好的饭菜就这么扔了，多可惜啊!想当年咱们小时候哪吃过这些东西啊，连一顿饱饭都吃不着!”小时候，听了这些话我感觉不以为然。后来，我学习了《悯农》这首诗，“锄禾日当午，汗滴禾下土。谁知盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦。”我才明白了粮食的来之不易。于是，我下定决心要改掉这个坏习惯，绝不再浪费粮食了。
老师告诉我们，如果全国每个人每天节约一粒粮食，就够五个人吃三年的，这是一个多么惊人的数字啊!我想起了小时候妈妈常给我唱的那首童谣：“小小一粒米，来得不容易;粮食宝中宝，人人要爱惜。”每一粒粮食都饱含着农民伯伯辛勤的汗水，他们整天起早贪黑，面朝黄土背朝天，就是为了多种些粮食，我们有什么理由去浪费粮食呢?

3.in the morning/ afternoon/ evening/ 表示“在上午/下午/傍晚”等一段时间。
