从柳子庙出来，沿着愚溪，我们来到了钴姆潭。钴姆潭因柳宗元“永州八记”第二篇《钴姆潭记》而闻名。钴姆，古时熨斗的称呼，因为潭形像熨斗，故名钴姆潭。爸爸扶着，我们沿着陡峭的小路，来到潭边。潭水很清，潭底的长满了绿油油的水草，水草顺着水势摇摆，像一条条绿色的丝带。
