呵呵呵，过了今天就是国庆_周年了，学校就在今天办了个大队会，主题就叫“祝福祖国”。

校长说这个大队会是要上电视的，所以我们也就表现的好了一些，我们昨天还彩排了，就是不知道效果如何。

终于开始了，我把老妈也叫过来看。全校3000名同学都集中到了一个足球场上，不得不感慨学校操场挺大的。首先整纪律，然后经过了校长的演讲以后，活动开始了。

首先放飞了气球和鸽子，鸽子转眼间就飞得无影无踪了，只有气球在缓慢地飘着，我们“目送”了气球慢慢飘走以后，第一个节目开始了，是学校管乐团的表演，曲子是我们学过的《友谊开花万里香》，还是很好听的，就是声音太小了。祝福祖国的话。

接下来是体育老师们和音乐老师们的表演，哈哈，连老师也上场了。我们情绪高涨，不停的挥舞着发来的彩带。

最后是各个年级唱歌，最后大家一起唱。这就是国庆节，让我们一起祝福祖国吧！

我的妈妈中等个子，不是很胖，她喜欢穿黑色或是白色的衣服。她的头发不是很长，特别清爽。妈妈的脸长长的，眉毛很浓，眼睛特别有神，好象会说话一样，每当我犯错误的时候，我总不敢看她的眼睛，让我很害怕，而每当我考试取得很好的成绩时，妈妈的眼光总是让我感觉很温暖。

妈妈喜欢看书，每个周末都要带我去书店看书，因此，受妈妈的影响，我也爱上了看书，和书籍交上了好朋友。妈妈总是那么勤劳，家里的家务事都是妈妈做，有时候要忙到深夜，可是她从来不喊一声苦。我的妈妈真是一位好妈妈。

妈妈还很关心我，有一次，我感到头发热，妈妈已经睡着了，被我叫醒了，她连忙起来拿药给我吃，看着妈妈着急的样子，我不由得无比感动。

我的妈妈是一名普通的农民，在我眼中她是一位严厉的妈妈。

记得刚上一年级时，因为我的胆子小，妈妈把我送到教室里才离开。可是，妈妈刚要走出教室时，我就“哇哇”地哭了起来。听到我的哭声，妈妈又回到我的跟前，对我说：“诺诺，你已经是小学生了，不能再哭鼻子了。在学校里要好好学习，放学时妈妈就来接你回家。”说完这几句话，妈妈转身离开了。任由我再怎么哭喊，她也不回头。

当时我觉得妈妈真是太狠心了，把我一个人留在一个陌生的地方。可是说也奇怪，从那以后，我改掉了爱哭的毛病了，以后遇到困难学会了自己解决，不会轻易流眼泪了。

妈妈对我各方面的要求都特别严格，但凡因为粗心而出错的题，她就会狠狠地惩罚我。看到别的小朋友的妈妈那么温柔可亲，有的时候我怀疑她到底是不是我的亲妈?

后来我发现，正是因为妈妈的严厉，才让我越来越优秀。

I’m writing to tell you about the discussion we have had about whether an entrance fee should be charged for parks. 60% of us schoolmates think that an entrance fee do not meet people’s expectations, for a park is considered to be a place where the public can have a good time when they are not busy either at home or at work. If an entrance fee must be paid by the visitors for a park, it will be necessary to build a gate and surrounding walls. In the end a city will take on a bad look. 40% of us schoolmates think that an entrance fee can be accepted, but it must not be too expensive. The money from ticket selling can be used for paying the gardeners in the park and buying some other kinds of flowers and trees.

With regard to myself, I think an entrance fee is useful, for it can be used to protect a park. Do we share the same opinion, dear editor?

As the Christmas Day is coming, our class decided to send some gifts to our

teachers, because we wanted to show our gratitude to them. At first, we had no

idea what to buy, because we wanted to do something special. So at last an idea

came to my mind. I advised to write a card, pasting some pictures of classmates

on it. Everybody agreed with me, so we spent a day to take some funny pictures,

and everybody wrote down their names on the card. When we sent this gift to the

teachers, they loved it so much. They were so impressed by this precious

surprise and would keep it forever.

Since I went to college, I have made many friends and we shared the same interest. My friends and I liked traveling so much. We decided to travel abroad. The destination was Thailand. We spent ten days there and had a nice trip. It was such an unforgettable trip, and I learned a lot.

China is the biggest family with 56 ethnic groups. Among them, the Han

Chinese is the largest and the most highly developed group. The Han Chinese can

be found in many parts of China. They mainly live in the north plain region, the

middle and the lower reaches of Yangze River and Pearl River Deltas. The other

55 groups are the minority ethnic groups. They are distributed in the

mountainous areas of southwest and northwest of China.

Being too far away from big cities, the minority ethnic groups are poor in

economy and there people are not well-educated. They have very few

understandings of science and technology. So they must develop their

economy.

To help the people of the minority ethnic groups live better, the

government should take some effective measures. For one thing, more and more

knowledgeable undergraduates should be encouraged to those poor areas to help

the people there to get rid of their poverty. For another, the advanced science

and technology must be introduced into the minority ethnic groups to improve

their living conditions. More importantly, people of the minority ethnic groups

should be given equal opportunities to study and work. Only so will China be

more prosperous in the future.

In the matter of courage we all have our limits. There never was a hero who
