我还记得有一次，我上午回家就肚子不舒服，从1点一直到3；4点。妈妈一直陪我身边，我要吃什么，妈妈立刻给我买来，妈妈买来了，可是我没有胃口。妈妈又给我熬粥，我这难受喝了一口，过了一会。我吐了一地，妈妈立刻给我打扫，急忙对我说怎么样，没事吧？我当时很不舒服，可是看到妈妈这么用心良苦来对我。我小声的说我没事，不用担心我妈妈，妈妈这才放下了心里的大石头。妈妈给我买了药，可是几个小时过去了，还是没有作用呀！这下妈妈又急坏了，只好给爸爸打电话，爸爸好快的就赶来了，带我去打针。打了几天针后我完全康复，妈妈不用再担心我了。

妈妈这么多的付出，让我感到幸福！

我最尊敬的人是我的妈妈，我最爱的人也是我的妈妈。是妈妈给予我生命，妈妈把无私的爱都给了我，让我健康幸福成长。

我的妈妈一头乌黑的头发，弯弯的眉毛，明亮的眼睛，脸有点长，红红的嘴唇，个子不高，不胖，我妈妈快三十岁了。她的脾气呢，有时候很温柔，有时候脾气很暴躁，长得也不怎么美，但是在我的心目中妈妈是世界上最好最漂亮的。

有时候虽然会打我骂我，那是在我作业粗心不认真的时候，但是，妈妈那是为我好，是让我变得更优秀，学习越来越好。我表现好的时候妈妈就会表扬我，让我继续努力。当我犯了一个小错误的时候，妈妈没有骂我，也没有打我，让我知错就改还是个好孩子。

我的妈妈是世界上最好的妈妈，谁都比不上我的妈妈好，我爱我妈妈。

Almost everyone knows that water covers three-fourths of the earths

surface. Most of it， however， is in the oceans and is too salty to drink. Also，

some of it is frozen and cannot be used. In fact， less than one percent is left

for the use of people， animals and plant life. All through history men have

tried to build their homes near the sources of fresh water. Now fresh water is

becoming scarce， but more and more is needed because of the increasing number of

people in the world. Some industries also use large amounts of fresh water in

the production of things such as steel， petroleum， paper and rubber and so on.

Scientists estimate that the need for fresh water will have doubled by the year

2003. If they are correct， we must find new ways of saving it or producing it.

Some nations have worked on the problem and are already sharing their

information with others. They are trying to keep their rivers from becoming

polluted. Deep wells are also being dug， and rain water is being collected in

huge artificial lakes. In one way or another， they hope to provide enough water

to satisfy the needs of their people.
