中午，我回到家，走进客厅，竟然发现平时只要在家都会每分每秒做着家务、一刻也不肯歇会儿的妈妈与往日不同，正悠闲地懒洋洋地坐在沙发上，还津津有味地看着电视，不时吃几片橘子，似乎没有事情可做似的。旁边放着一个上身粉红色，下身紫红色的机器人。我仔细打量着它，它的身体匀称、个子不高也不矮，身子笔直笔直的，可精神了!仿佛是一位侍卫兵在那。我又看看房间，整理得井井有条，地板上连一粒灰尘也没有，都可以照出我的影子了，到处都干净极了!使我不得不吃惊地望着妈妈。

“妈妈，你怎么还没做午饭?”我这时才发觉桌子上空荡荡的，只有空气漂浮在上面。

“噢，好的，我马上叫它去做“妈妈瞟了我一眼，打开抽屉，拿出一个有五彩按钮和文字按钮的遥控器。

“它?!”我有些诧异，“客厅里只有我们俩个人呀!”

“你看，就是它呀，我昨天才买来的呢，效果不错，还有不少功能呢!”妈妈骄傲地指了指机器人，仿佛机器人是她的什么宝贝似的。那个机器人立即转过身面对着我，像是只要一声令下，他就会立刻去做你想要让他做的事情。

妈妈又低头看看遥控器，眼珠子转来转去，似乎在寻找着什么。忽然，她眼睛一亮，似乎中了什么大奖似的，飞快地按下了一个按钮，那个机器人像是得到了一条圣旨似的，一转身，它便开始在厨房里做饭了。只见它眼疾手快地从袋子里拿出一捆蔬菜，然后飞快地用刀切开皮筋，“咚咚“地把菜切成一小块，又立即从袋子里拿出几个土豆，用小刀飞快地削掉了皮，并且用刀切成一条一条的……就这样，他一会儿去看看电饭煲里边的饭有没有做好，一会切着菜，动作可敏捷了。看得我眼花缭乱，真没想到机器人竟有如此厉害。

才几十分钟，饭就做好了。它端着菜走到餐桌旁，嘴里还念念有词地说：“今天的菜式黄瓜炒肉、青菜炒蘑菇，还有番茄炒蛋…….请大家用餐。”它说完，又拿起两只碗，给我和妈妈添了饭。看着这些馋涎欲滴的食物，饥肠辘辘的我早已夹了菜，开始大口大口地吃了起来，衣服上面有油渍也不管了。

有了机器人真好，它不用吃饭，只“吃”电，还有很多功能，真是人类的“好帮手”。

The Dragon Boat Festival, also called Double FifthFestival, is celebrated

on May 5th on lunarcalendar.It is a folk festival widely spread with ahistory of

over 2,000 years, and is one of the mostimportant Chinese festivals as well.

There are variouscelebrating activities on that day, among which the customs of

eating rice dumplings anddragon boat racing are quite important.There are many

legends on the origin of the DragonBoat Festival.Some people think it is to

commemorate the poet Qu Yuan, while others say it isto be in honour of Wu Zi_u,

a famous general during the Warring States period. However, thelegend of Qu Yuan

spreads most widely. People appreciate highly the noble sentiment andprominent

talent of this patriotic poet and are very sympathetic with the ending that

hecommitted suicide by drowning himself in a river.

端午节(the Dragon Boat Festival)，又称重五节，于每年农历五月初五庆祝。

这是广泛流传2000多年的民间节日，也是中国最重要的节日之一。端午节当天举行各种庆祝活动，吃粽子和赛龙舟(dragon boat

racing)是其中的重要习俗。关于端午节的起源，有很多传说。一部分人认为端午节是为了纪念诗人屈原，另一部分人则认为是为了纪念战国时期的著名将领伍子胥。然而，屈原的传说流传最广。人们非常欣赏这位爱国诗人的高尚情操和出众才华，更对他投江自尽的结局深表同情。

在爆竹声中，迎来了我国的传统节日——元宵节。

元宵节，早晨起床当然应该吃一碗热气腾腾的汤圆。汤圆用黏黏的面团搓成，有大有小，有粉有白，放在锅里蒸上一会儿。煮好的汤圆，像一个个可爱的胖娃娃。咬一口，烫烫的黑芝麻像流水般滚入心脾，嘴巴里充满了浓浓的芝麻味，舌尖上留着那种甜蜜蜜的情思和味道，代表着一家和和睦睦的生活。

晚上，我到外边去玩，大街小巷都张灯结彩，最美的还要数护城河边了。护城河边灯光辉煌，人声鼎沸。我漫游在这灯的世界，细细观赏，栩栩如生的金鱼灯，形象逼真的莲花灯，古朴典雅的宫灯——各式各样的彩灯造型优美，装饰考究，做工精细，真让人眼花缭乱，美不胜收。在平静的河面上，映照出了灯的影子，好像河的底下也点着一盏似的。一阵微风拂过，河面上微波荡漾，灯的影子也跟着摇摇晃晃了。

“好!”一阵喝彩声吸引住了我，原来是不远处有人在猜灯谜。我也想过去猜猜，可无奈人太多，形成了一堵‘人’墙，把猜灯谜的舞台围得水泄不通。我站在‘人’墙外，听着里面传来的阵阵欢笑声。主持人开始说灯谜了：“一人一张嘴(猜一字)。”我心想：那是什么呢?我正想着，一位老爷爷举起了手，回答道：“是个‘合’字。”主持人笑眯眯地说：“恭喜您，答对了。”话音刚落，周围就响起了一阵雷鸣般的掌声。

元宵节，这个热闹非凡的节日，在人们的欢笑声中结束。

I’m going to be a good doctor after I graduate from the university. I believe Ill bring my family health and happiness.In my spare time,Ill stay with my family.Well travel a lot and do lots of sports.Ill also read as many books as I can.Even if the work is busy,I wont give up studying.

I’m sure my dream will come true because of my hard work and the life inthe future will be wonderful.
