屈原是战国时期出国人，很有学问。他在楚王身边做官，以形象是自己的国家富强起来。昏君楚王却听信奸臣的话，把屈原削职流放。在流放中，屈原听说楚国的都城被敌人占领，百姓遭难，悲愤极了。五月初五这一天，他来到汨罗江边，怀抱一块石头，以纵身跳入汨罗江中。出国的百姓听到屈原投江的消息，都十分悲痛。他们含着泪划着船赶来打捞屈原，还把粽子扔到江里喂鱼，希望鱼儿不要伤害屈原的身体。这就是五月端阳包粽子的来历。

端午节还有许多有趣的活动。列如赛龙舟，挂香囊，香囊内有朱砂、雄黄、香药，外包以丝布，清香四溢，再以五色丝线弦扣成索，作各种不同形状，结成一串，形形色色，玲珑夺目。还有挂艾叶、菖蒲的习惯。

端午节的活动可真多啊!

What a fine day today !I’m very happy in this fine day . Beaucse today I don’t have to do my homework and I can play with my good friends .There is lots of snow now ,so we make a sonw man .That’s really intersting .We play with snow to about 6:30 .Of couse I must go home now. My favorite festival is Christmas Day. It’s not the trditional for Chinese. It’s for the foreigners, which Christmas Day is to them what Spring Festival is us. But with the development of the society, more and more foreigners come to China. And then it is popular in China. I feel excited to see the Cristmas decoration and Christmas trees. I also like Santa Claus, who will give Christmas present for us under the table. And people will say ”Merry Cristmas” to each other on that day. It is wonderful to have a foreign festival.

我最喜欢的节日是圣诞节。它不是中国的传统节日。是外国的。圣诞节对于他们来说就像是春节对于我们一样。随着社会的发展，越来越多的外国人来到 中国。之后圣诞节在中国也流行起来了。看到圣诞装饰和圣诞树我会感到很兴奋。我也喜欢圣诞老人，他会悄悄的给我们圣诞礼物。在那一天人们会互相说圣诞快乐来打招呼。过一个国外的节日真的很美妙。

Your letter and package reached me yesterday. You really give me a great surprise. I was wondering what was in such a nice package until I carefully opened it and found that you sent me an attractive present for my birthday. Thank you very much for your kindness, and I like the present, which will give me pleasure for a long time to come.

Again it is thoughtful of you to send me the present on my birthday. Yesterday evening my colleagues held a birthday party for me, including John Liu---I think you can remember---a nice tall boy, who invited you and I to his birthday last October. We enjoyed ourselves, and all of us mentioned your stay with us. We hope that you will come to China soon, if possible.

Last night, I had a wonderful dream. In the dream, I rode my bike in a country road. On the both sides of the road, there are many trees. And these trees all have different fruits, apples, pears, oranges, bananas and many other fruits. The fruits are ripe. I can get them on the bike. They are delicious. I eat many fruits and I am full. And then, I go back home. I tell the story to my mother, but she doesn’t believe me. Then, I woke up.

昨天晚上我做了一个美妙的梦。梦里我骑着自行车在乡间的小路上。路的两边种满了树，这些树上有不同的水果，有苹果、梨、橘子、香蕉和很多其他水果。果子成熟了，我可以站在自行车上摘水果。水果很美味，我吃了很多水果都饱了然后就回家了。我把故事告诉妈妈，但是她不相信我，然后我就醒了。

平安夜到来了，圣诞老人正在准备着今年的礼物，在这一天里可是要送苹果的哦!我正准备送妈妈一个大苹果，放学后我赶忙来到小卖部，“老板，有没有圣诞果?”我大声的说，老板看了看我，摇了摇头，啊!这么快就没有了，唉!我只好垂头丧气的回家了，妈妈见我皱起眉头，便说：“怎么了?”我像针缝了嘴似的没说出真相，我转了转眼睛灵机一动，便想出法子来做圣诞果，只见我像听了谁的命令似的放下书包，躲进屋子里不出来，首先，我先拿来一个又红又大的苹果来做主体，再用我那最喜欢的彩带来装饰它，顿时一位公主出现在我面前华丽的服装，透亮的玉镯、蓝色的水晶鞋，啊!多么漂亮，用我的卡纸做成了一个圣诞树的形状，上面还写上了一句话：“妈妈，我爱你，您是世界上最漂亮的妈妈，妈妈祝你圣诞快了!”成功了，我急忙跑去送给妈妈，妈妈惊呆了，她流下了一滴眼泪，这滴眼泪很甜。

圣诞节的第二天早晨，我收到了礼物，我明知道这是妈妈送的，但我却依旧像个小孩子，当我来到学校时，我的抽屉里堆满了贺卡，和妈妈一样我非常感动，贺卡就是贺卡上面都是一些贺语，只有一张贺卡上写的，我非常生气，因为他和我开了一个玩笑。

I like to climb the pole of the campaign, because when I was in kindergarten, I was one of the most naughty girl in our class, everybody calls me "drum". And I climb pole of the sport is also a lot of girls do not dare, dare only two girls and boys of the class, I am one of them, it makes me very proud.

I remember it was a sunny morning, I climb the pole and two boys game. Although I was a lot of trouble with boys than anything, but since I was young, I have a little afraid of heights, so the crawling crawling feeling more and more afraid of, have to despondently slipped. 我从小就有许许多多喜欢的运动，它们像天上那闪闪发光的小星星，怎么数也数不清。但是，我最喜欢的一项运动就是爬杆。

我之所以喜欢爬杆这项运动，是因为我在上幼儿园的时候，我是我们班女生里最淘气的一个，大家都叫我“淘汽包”。而我爬杆这项运动也是很多女生不敢做的，全班只有两个女生敢和男生比，我就是其中一个，这让我很自豪。

我记得那是一个阳光明媚的早上，我和两个男生比赛爬杆。虽然我是个淘气包什么都敢跟男生比，但是我从小就有点恐高，所以爬着爬着感觉越来越怕，只好灰溜溜地滑了下来。我低着头说：“我……我……我输了!”其实我的心里有一百个的不服气。

放学后，我一回到家，就冲到我家后院那根栏杆前，开始慢慢地练习。不知不觉地，我已经爬到了最高处，我一往下看，“啊……吓死我啦!”我从没有爬过这么高的地方，大豆般的汗珠从我的脸颊直往下流。

怎么才能去掉我恐高的毛病呢?我坐在秋千上闷头苦想着。这时，爸爸过来问我怎么了，我把事情的经过讲给爸爸听，爸爸告诉说：“只要身体保持平衡，不要向下看，你就不会害怕了。”我按爸爸的话一次又地尝试着，可是我每次都会情不自禁地滑下来，我回想爸爸跟我讲的话，把眼睛闭着，身体保持平衡，我又试了几次，哦……我成功了，我从栏杆下来后，好开心!我第一时间把这个好消息告诉爸爸。

第二天，我和那两个男生又在幼儿园展开了一场激烈的爬杆比赛，比赛开始后，我的好朋友都在下面鼓励我，而我的心里却像十五个吊桶打水七上八下。两个男生猴子似的往上爬，可他们都没能爬到最高点。我也不甘示弱，终于我没有辜负好朋友们对我的期望，我赢了，我的好朋友都围着我为我喝彩。两个男生也只好认输。

从那以后我和爬杆结下了不解之缘。爬杆给我带来了健康，带来了快乐，它是我最喜欢的一种运动。
