昨天晚上，我做了一个有趣的梦。在梦中，我意外地得到了一支魔笔，用它我可以写出漂亮的汉字。然后我参加了一个书法大赛。在魔笔的帮助下我获得了第一名，很快我出名了，许多人都向我求字。我感到非常自豪。但是当我拿起魔笔，写下一个字时，我发现那个字非常丑。魔笔不再有魔力了，我被吓出了一身冷汗。看到这些，人们明白发生了什么事情。他们都嘲笑我，说我是个骗子。我竭力想找一个地方躲起来，却无容身之地。

My father took me out fishing today. At the beginning, we spent a long time

waiting there but there was no fish. I was very impatient and didnt want to

stay there. I wanted to come home. Father said to me, "Dont give up everything

easily. We should keep on trying hard".

We will never forget our freshman year at college.In general it is a time filled with anticipation,some anxiety,and wonderful discoveries.

College is much different than high school.You may decide to commute from your home to a local campus.Without doubt,the most dramatic freshman year is for those living away from home.What can we expect as we head off into the wonderful world of higher education?

The first thing I notice is the workload.It is heavier and more intense than I ever experienced before.The major challenges of college work are large volume of reading,short deadlines,and “endless” writing.A related effect that can be brought on by the workload is doubt,frustration,and loneliness if possible.

On some of those long,seemingly endless nights of studying and writing,it will be very natural for me to long for fine old days.Hang in there.These down periods will pass.

I have made a lot of new friends.I am sure college friendships will be among the most satisfying and long-term in my life.Its always exciting to discover how wonderfully diverse college relationships can be.

I am enjoying my newfound freedom.Stay up until dawn talking about my ideals and ambitions with my dorms regular bull session buddies.Sleep in until the afternoon on a light class day.Explore the local town or suburbs with one or two of my new friends.

I even start to think about my future.Going to college is as much about finding out who am I as it is about getting the degree.

My name is Xia Shunyao. Im eight years old, grade two in primary school. I have a round face, big black eyes, big ears. My hair is black and bright, also please. In fact, I want to keep a long braid, but mother is not let me stay, I do not agree, but there is no way, had to leave a short hair.

My mother told me that my name was very meaningful. Because of the Xia Dynasty is the first dynasty Chinese, Emperor Yao and shun China is the earliest and most kind-hearted monarch, mom and dad gave me this name, is the hope that Ill do.

I am a good student in my class. I can finish my homework every day on time. I can check it after I finish it. In class, I can speak actively and help the students, so the teacher chose me as her little assistant.

At home I often help my mother do the housework, such as tow the floor, wipe the table, help my mother to buy food. When my parents are out of work, I can also go to the canteen to eat.

我叫夏舜尧，今年八岁，上小学二年级。我有一张圆圆的脸，乌黑的大眼睛，大大的招风耳。我的头发又黑又亮，还有点卷。其实，我很想留长辫子，可是妈妈就是不让我留，我不同意，但也没办法，只好留了个短发。

妈妈告诉我，我的名字很有意义。因为夏朝是中国第一个朝代，尧帝和舜帝是中国最早的最善良的君主，爸爸妈妈给我取这个名字，是希望我将来大有作为。

我在班上是个好学生，每天的作业都能按时完成，做完后也能自己检查。上课时能积极发言，爱帮助同学，所以老师才选我当她的小助手。

在家里我经常帮妈妈干家务，比如拖地板、抹桌子，帮妈妈买菜。爸妈没下班的时候，我还能自己到食堂打饭吃呢。

熄灯的号角已经吹响，教官严厉的话语在耳畔回响。寝室里，一束束承载着同学们嬉戏打闹的灯光，似光滑如绸的光阴，一点点泯灭，宽敞明净的房间陷入一片寂静的黑色。许久，寂静无声。

但我们这帮顽劣如猴的同学们之中，是不可能有宁静的一夜。包括眼前那浓得化不的黑，包括一天身心俱疲的队列训练。

我率先打破了沉默。悄然翻了个身，头靠着柔收而有弹性的枕沿，我拍了拍奕嘉的肩膀。她立刻默契地转身，发辫轻轻一甩，微微拉了拉我的衣角。很快，憋屈了一天的话语便如泉水般在口边流淌。

“呀，你记得吗？教官的体罚可有趣了，这次，手贴得不够紧的，他居然要我们挂水壶！”奕嘉的头凑了过来，冲我耳语。

“是呀是呀！以前看《五三班的坏小子》可不明白“魔鬼”教官，现在可算是领教了！”我略带嘲讽地嘻嘻笑着。

我们的声音很小，在裹寝室里，就像一颗小石子，在湖面漾起了一圈圈的涟漪。这涟漪，在我们看来是清脆的、诱人的；但在戒备森严的军营里，却是可怕的、危险的。果不其然，我们受到了淅然强压着怒火的提醒与王班长无声的警告。那声音，虽小，却如闪电，麻木了我们的四肢；如骤雨，浇湿了我们的身，也淋透了我们的心。但，我们明白，也接受。那浓浓的暗，也不知何时已经晕开，勾勒出军装的威武与那刀刻般的轮廓……

早晨，同学叫醒我，改起床了！在一片可怕的黑暗中，没有人埋怨，没有人聊天。大家默默换好军装。床头柜上，是叠好的衣裤，格子里，是整齐洁净的书包，一切都很严谨，一切都一丝不苟。那四四方方的杯子，那整齐的牙杯，似乎都映出军人做事追求完美的作风，如一根无形的鞭子，鞭策我们，使我们成长！
