Hello, everybody, my name is Xue Yinjie. I"m 12 years old. I study at Fenghuang Primary school. I"m in class 1 grade 6. I go to school at 7 o"clock every morning. We read English everyday. There are three lessons in the morning. We have lunch at 11 o"clock. After lunch, we have a rest. The lessons in the afternoon are much more interesting. There are many kinds of books in the library. After lunch, we often go to the library to find some interesting books. We often read books about animals and interesting stories. We can learn a lot from the books. We do morning exercise everyday, and we like doing exercise. In the free time, we often play football and basketball. Last month, we had a sports meeting, we were all very excided, especially when we saw the teacher"s running race.

My parents watched a lot of news and they always worry about my safety. I

tell them that there is no need to worry, because the news report about other

peoples story having nothing to do with me. But one thing changed my opinion.

One day, when I walked home after school, a young man who dressed so well got

close to me, then he told me that he needed help. He said he lost his wallet and

needed someone to give him 2 yuan to take the bus. I felt so sorry for him. I

should help him and the money he needed was little for me, so I gave the money

to him without hesitation. At night, I watched TV with my parents, the news

showed the new trick for the cheaters and it was the same situation with what I

experienced today. I realized I must take care.

Development and the Environment

It is undeniable that the worsening environment has become the biggest concern of the present-day world. Land resources are dwindling because of water loss and soil erosion. Waste gases poison the air we breathe. The rivers and lakes are polluted by waste dumped in them from factories. It is probably no exaggeration to say that deterioration of the quality of the environment threatens the existence of mankind itself.

Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is the price we have to pay for economic development. But I do not think that this argument is valid. After all, what is the point of economic growth if people＇s lives are adversely alfected by worsening environmental pollution?

There is plenty of evidence to show that sustainable development can be achieved by balancing economic growth with protection of the environment. The key to achieving this is to make people aware of the seriousness of the problem. Both governments and ordinary citizens should join hands to make this world a better place to live in, not only for ourselves, but also for future generations.

How to protect theenvironment has become one of the biggest problems in the world .

It’s our duty toprotect our environment .No matter where we live ,we should do something tokeep our neighborhood clean and tidy .We can collect waste paper or otherwaste things for recycling.We should plant more trees and we should preventthose factories from pouring waste water into rivers,lakes and fields.We shouldn’t leave rubbish everywhere andspit in public places .We mustn’t pick the flowers or step on the grass inpublic.If everyone tries his best to protect the environment ,the world willbecome much more beautiful and our life will be better and better .

Everyone can do something for our environment. For me, I should try to save electricity in my daily life. I am a student who study in a school which is located in Yongchang. I was admitted into this beautiful school. I still remember the day when I first went to school. In my eyes, everything was pretty. I get on well with my classmates and teachers. Since I went to this school, I think of my teachers as my best friends like leaves and flowers. I never look upon them as others. It is reason why I often question my teachers on some problems is that I love them. When I am trouble and lose heart, they always help me settle these problems.Of course, I am also satisfied with their education. Our school is far away from the downtown. As a result, it is a good place

for students to study. We won’t be disturbed by the crowded people and the

noise. For me, I like the scenery in the campus, trees are around, especially

when I look out of the window in the break time. I will look at the scenery that

is far away, sometimes I can see birds flying. There is a road that circles the

mountain, which looks like a snake. When cars are driving in the road, I will be

Newspapers enjoy a longer history and often come out daily with more reliable news and information. They can be carried and read almost anywhere you like. So many people like reading them. But they can only contain texts and photos.

On the other hand, websites are quite new and popular, especially among young people. Websites have not only texts with pictures but also audios and videos, which makes stories more interesting.
