My New Life

This summer, I move to a new city with my parents, and I transfer to a new school. I used to live in the countryside, so my new life is so different from before. The school is a little far from my home, so I go to school by bus. After school, I have many activities in school. Classmates are friendly to me. I learn English now. It’s so interesting that I like it very much. Besides, life in city is different. There are many interesting places to go. At weekends, my parents take me outside. We go to the park, the zoo or go shopping. But we are not so familiar with our neighbors. I think we should build good relationship with them.

这些对于习惯了高中生活的我来说，都感觉难以适应。也许所谓的无拘无束的大学生活仅仅只是指没有了繁重的作业，没有了从早到晚的满满的课，没有了老师逼迫的自习……可是，于此同时，我们的课程也变得更难了，不是么?没有了老师的监督，我们又是否自觉了呢?如果没有将专业学好，我们的理想又要怎么办呢?其实，因为这样的自由，大学对我们的自身要求变得更高了，需要我们更努力地去学习、去奋进。

但是，不得不承认的是，大学这一年的生活也让我收获了很多快乐。

第一次走进这个陌生的校园，感觉好大、好美，月牙湖、凉亭、柳树、花朵……俨然错落有致，似乎是来到了一个精心设计的花园，虽没有水榭，亦没有楼阁，但是，一水一树一倩影，足矣。怀着欣喜的心情，我开始尝试着去体验身边的新鲜事物。

大学伊始，社团的招新活动早已开展地如火如荼，面对各种各样的社团，我也充满着热情和期待，填了两个向往已久的社团招新表格，接下来就是一轮接着一轮的面试，幸运的是，我都进了。在社团工作的日子，不能说是很轻松的，因为所选部门的原因，让我一直都很忙碌，学习之余的时间几乎都这样被瓜分了。但是，在社团里，和别人一起工作的日子是快乐满足的，我懂得了什么是团结合作，学会了怎样去和工作伙伴相处，在能力上也得到了锻炼，就这样，我和别人一起认真努力地工作着，有付出，也有收获。这也让我更加坚信一句话：“一朵孤芳自赏的花只是美丽，一片相互依恃着而怒放的锦绣才是灿烂”

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. i wake up 11 oclock am everyday, after a washing, i have a good lunch with my parents. next i play computer games till the time to have supper. after have dinner. i go on playing till 2 oclock am, and then go to sleep with tired. this is one dull day of my winter vacation.

In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal college life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in

activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal college life.

Those, however, are not what college life is all about. As we all know, college is wildly different from middle school. It connects not only adolescence to adulthood, but also the ivory tower to the real society. The college life is wonderful. All life in school are fresh. New teachers, new CLASSmates and fresh friends are around me。 The grand library, school buildings and wide playground are very attracting to me. I am very eager to learn much knowledge quickly. In high school, I was ever called as a runner before time. Now,I know I am behind time so much in fact. I hope to catch up with the time by my hard studying. When I entered the CLASSroom at first time, I was headache as I couldn’t understand what the professor was speaking. I met much difficulties at math, physics and other courses, even though I used to be good at these sciences. Therefore, I learn these courses myself after CLASS. After three months, the exmination indicated that I overcame all the difficlties. I study English hard as well. It makes me have many chances to communicate with foreigners.
