2013年9月19日，是中秋节，我在家里过中秋，赏月。有很多人一定想知道中秋节有什么来历吧，我来告诉你们。

中秋节，顾名思义，“中秋”一词，最早见于《周礼》。根据我国古代历法，农历八月十五日，在一年秋季的八月中旬，故称“中秋”。一年有四季，每季又分孟、仲、季三部分，因此秋中第二月叫仲秋，到唐朝初年，中秋节才成为固定的节日。《新唐书·卷十五志第五·礼乐五》载“其中春、中秋释奠于文宣王、武成王”，及“开元十九年，始置太公尚父庙，以留侯张良配。中春、中秋上戊祭之，牲、乐之制如文”。据史籍记载，古代帝王祭月的节期为农历八月十五，时日恰逢三秋之半，故名“中秋节”;又因为这个节日在秋季八月，故又称“秋节”、“八月节”、“八月会”、“中秋节”;又有祈求团圆的信仰和相关习俗活动，故亦称“团圆节”、“女儿节”。因中秋节的主要活动都是围绕“月”进行的，所以又俗称“月节”、“月夕”、“追月节”、“玩月节”、“拜月节”;在唐朝，中秋节还被称为“端正月”。中秋节的盛行始于宋朝，至明清时，已与元旦齐名，成为我国的主要节日之一。关于中秋节的起源，大致有三种：起源于古代对月的崇拜、月下歌舞觅偶的习俗，古代秋报拜土地神的遗俗。

中秋节一定要吃什么?大家一定知道，当然是月饼。中秋节美食首推月饼，其起源说法多种。月饼，最初起源于唐朝军队祝捷食品。唐高祖年间，大将军李靖征讨突厥靠月饼隐蔽的传话得胜，八月十五凯旋而归，此后，吃月饼成为每年的习俗。当时有经商的吐鲁番人向唐朝皇帝献饼祝捷。高祖李渊接过华丽的饼盒，拿出圆饼，笑指空中明月说：“应将胡饼邀蟾蜍”。说完把饼分给群臣一起吃。吃月饼以示“团圆”。月饼，又叫胡饼、宫饼、月团、丰收饼、团圆饼等，是古代中秋祭拜月神的供品。相传我国古代，帝王就有春天祭日、秋天祭月的礼制。在民间，每逢八月中秋，也有左右拜月或祭月的风俗。“八月十五月儿圆，中秋月饼香又甜”，这句名谚道出中秋之夜城乡人民吃月饼的习俗。月饼最初是用来祭奉月神的祭品，后来人们逐渐把中秋赏月与品尝月饼，作为家人团圆的一大象征，慢慢的，月饼也就成为了节日的必备礼品。

Far and away the most important holiday in China is Spring Festival, also

known as the Chinese New Year.

To the Chinese people it is as important as Christmas to people in the

West.

The dates for this annual celebration are determined by the lunar calendar

rather than the Gregorian calendar, so the timing of the holiday varies from

late January to early February.

To the ordinary Chinese, the festival actually begins on the eve of the

lunar New Year‘s Day and ends on the fifth day of the first month of the lunar

calendar. But the 15th of the first month, which normally is called the Lantern

Festival, means the official end of the Spring Festival in many parts of the

country.

Spring Festival is the most importantand popular festival in China.Before

Spring Festival ,the people usually clean and decorate their houses.And they go

to the Flower Fairs to buy some flowers.

During Spring Festival ,the adults usually give lucky money to

children.People often get together and have a big meal.Some people eat dumpling

for dinner.

In China, Mid-autumn Day is considered to be a symbol of family reunion. On this day, all the family members gather together at home to celebrate this special occasion. Last year, I could not celebrate the festival with my family because I was in university. However, this special day left a deep impression on me.

I still remember the atmosphere of that evening. All the students who could not go back home assembled in our classroom, having a party to celebrate this traditional festival. We tried our best to show our own enthusiasm. As an ethnic minority, I performed a peacock dance, which received warm applause. After the two-hour party, we went out to the playground and sat together to appreciate the moon because it is a tradition on Mid-autumn Day. We ate moon cakes, played cards, and listened to romantic poems recited by one of our classmates. In that harmonious atmosphere, nobody felt lonely or homesick even though we were far away from our homes

Thanks to our classmates, I experienced such a colorful and interesting Mid-autumn Day at my university. Thus, I learned to value all the festivals I spent during my university life.
