Social networking has gained huge worldwide popularity in recent years, especially among college students. In China, college student is the main force of social networking, 97.7% of which are fond of instant messaging and 80.7% prefer social networking sites like micro-blog and Q-zone (China Internet Network Information Center, 2013). Moreover, Michigan State University Original Study also finds that compared with Chinese students, American students are more tied to social media (2013). Obviously, there are a number of positive features on social networking. However, every coin has two sides. There are also many disadvantages on the influence of social networking, among which, “soft addiction” is the most serious problem, distracting students from study. 网络是现代的高科技，现代人都离不开网络。但网络也有危险，特别是网络游戏就对少年儿童产生了危害。

现代人都认为上网是好的，因为网络可以帮助查找资料、看视频、看新闻、娱乐等。其实正如老师说的那样“网络是双刃剑。”网络可以是你生活学习的伙伴，也可能是你成长的健康杀手。
