In the English Reading Week, one of my classmates recommended a quote to us, which goes like this: “Your future depends on many things, but mostly on you.”

As far as I’m concerned, I completely agree with the view. 前几天我和妈妈去北京了，在北京住了一个星期，所以这一个多星期都没有写博。我最喜欢的地方就是北大了，我来说说我眼中的北大吧。

我们是7月17号去的北大，来北大参观的人可真多啊，必须排队用身份证验证身份才能进去，我们15号就排了大约一个小时，好容易排到了门口，保安说下班了明天再来吧，真是气人。17日我和妈妈早早的就来排队，排了大约一个小时左右，终于进去了，我高兴的大喊“北大我来了。”我在北大还拍了照片，看，还不错吧。

妈妈说北大的未名湖是最有名气的，原来北大叫燕园，这里最美的地方就是未名湖。

我们走了大约半个多小时，终于到了。湖水清清亮亮的，湖的周围是绿丝飘飞的杨柳，妈妈说这是在湖中照影的新娘。

湖边有一座高塔，妈妈说那叫雁塔，是北大的水塔;湖中还有一条石鱼，雁塔和石鱼也都跑到水中来照影子了，这就是未名湖中最有名的湖光鱼塔影。

我们在未名湖边玩了好久感觉很累，就到湖边的假山上休息，看我找的这个地方，不错吧，我感觉真是妙极了。

it was the scene in my eyes. Is it beautiful? No. But it will always be etched
