There are two ways by which these pollution problems can be lessened. The first relates to the treatment of wastes to decrease their pollution hazard. This involves the processing of solid wastes "prior to" disposal and the treatment of liquid wastes to permit the reuse to the water or best reduce pollution upon final disposal. The second approach is to develop an economic use for all or part of the wastes. Farm manure is spread in fields as a nutrient. Wastes from sewage disposal plants are used in some areas both for irrigation and for the nutrients contained. Liquid wastes from other processing plants may also be used as a supplemental source of water. Only by doing these promptly now can we expect to solve the serious water problems in the future.

有一天，我回到久违的家乡桐柏时，惊讶的叫了起来，以前，我一回来，第一眼看见的是那又大又高的山，山是那样的绿，漫山遍野都是绿色;那又长又宽的河，水是那样的清，一眼可以看到小鱼在河里畅游。可是现在，山上的树木不断减少，裸露的土地面积不断扩大。河底的沙子被挖土机挖出一个又一个的大洞，以前清澈见底的大河变成了垃圾堆，黑黑的、散发着阵阵的恶臭，几乎所有的小鱼都死了……

君子爱财，取之有道。不要以破坏环境为代价，来创造财富。醒醒吧，人们!保护我们的家园吧!

我的家乡在广西省岑溪市，那里是一个环境优美、矿产资源丰富、树木郁郁葱葱的好地方。

但是，由于一些人为了个人利益，而乱砍滥伐树木、私采河砂、矿产资源……，导致水土大量流失，再加上大量工厂生产时产生的废气未经过废气处理后排放，以及水源被一些工厂偷排未经过处理的废水污染了，导致空气质量、水源净化日益下降，致使我们的生活环境、大气净化质量逐日下降，有些水源我们再也不能象以前哪样随意饮用了，而我们以前所处在的清新空气和到处鸟语花香的环境已经离我们越来越远了。好在我们国家已经大力提倡退耕还林，当地政府也已经对各种存在的污染给予有力的治理，比如污水处理厂的建设，垃圾焚烧厂远离居住区，加强各种工厂的污水、废气处理后再排放，治理空气污染和净化水源，以及环境噪音的治理……

我相信在政府的大力治理和支持下，我们的生活环境质量今后会日益好起来的，也呼吁人们要关注我们天天息息相关的环境和水源问题，也盼望全人类为了我们美好的明天都行动起来，参与到改善生活环境、治理大气污染、净化水源的队列来。

My school life

There is no doubt that almost all students dislike school life,but everyone has the responsibility to end the the examination-oriented education.

I am a student who study in a school which is located in Yongchang. I was admitted into this beautiful school. I still remember the day when I first went to school. In my eyes, everything was pretty. I get on well with my classmates and teachers. Since I went to this school, I think of my teachers as my best friends like leaves and flowers. I never look upon them as others. It is reason why I often question my teachers on some problems is that I love them. When I am trouble and lose heart, they always help me settle these problems.Of course, I am also satisfied with their education. I have a lot of friends who can make me try to form them good study habits. Because of that, I often get up early and try my best to study well.

I also like you that I have favorite subject, also have dislike subject. I prefer learning English to learning others. It is easily of me to learn this lesson, I often get an "A" in the exam. 以前，我一回来，第一眼看到的是那一座座高大的山峦，漫山遍野都是绿色，空气清新甜润。那又长又宽的河，水是那样的清，清的一眼可以看到一群群不知名的小鱼来回穿梭。可是现在，山上的树木不断减少，裸露的土地不断扩大，河底的沙粒被挖土机挖出一个又一个的大坑。以前清澈见底的河水，被河两岸的石材厂排出的废水污染的又臭又黑。人们都不敢用河水浇菜了。听说，用河水浇的菜长的特别慢，种出来的菜也不如以前好吃了。

快醒醒吧！只为挣钱而破坏环境的人们。

我建议为了我们的健康，让我们一起张开双手，共创绿色的环境，让蓝天更蓝，让清水更清，就像爱护自己的生命一样爱护我们的地球。

家乡绍兴原来不但水多，而且名人也有很多，被毛泽东主席成为“鉴湖越台名士乡”。但是因为现在人们随意破坏水资源，有些本来是清澈见底的水，现在已经变成了污水、废水。有些游客总是怀着好奇新来到绍兴，他们好奇的是：绍兴的水到底会有多清、多澄澈？但来到绍兴后，那份好奇一下子全没了，在他们眼前的竟然也是浑浊的河水，这就是随意破坏水资源的后果，使游客对我们绍兴的美好印象减少几分。这只是我们的一个缺点。我们生活中需要水，并不说明我们可以大量的浪费水，因为世界上可饮用水只占了百分之几而已。从此时此刻开始，我们要节约水，保护水。虽然我们的力量微小，但是如果全市人民都一起行动，那么，这力量就会变得很大很大。当我们看到有市民在破坏水资源时，我们要上前劝告，阻止。不止要保护水，我们还要一同来保护周围的绿化，树提供给了我们氧气，让周围的空气变得更加清新；花为周围的环境变得更加美丽吸引人；小草，你可别看它微小，它不怕风吹和雨打，总是坚强的立在那，有句古诗提到“野火烧不尽，春风吹又生。”他那种不屈的精神，值得我们学习。植物是有灵性的，我们不要去破坏它，伤害它。当我们在公园里的时候，不要为了一时的顽皮，去踩踏花草，也不要去砍伐树木，他们都在默默的奉献给人们生活环境的需要，我们以该感谢它们，不该去破坏它们。

有一天，我睡了一觉，梦见了几年后的家乡。看见了郁郁葱葱的森林；看见了清澈见底的湖水；看见了湛蓝的天空，空气清新甜润。我来到了马路上看见人们有的坐着太阳能汽车，有的骑着高速自行车。

以前，人们的车骑得非常慢，可现在不同了，有了高速自行车想去哪就去哪了；还看见人们把垃圾扔到垃圾桶里，垃圾就变成了空气，飘上了天空。我又来到了公园里，小鸟欢快得叫着，好像在为我们的到来而欢呼呢！蝴蝶展开了翅膀，美丽极了！池中的荷花盛开着，有白的；有红的；有粉的；有紫的；有黄的；五颜六色的！我还感觉到公园里的花草芬芳扑鼻呢！
