The Olynpic Games The Olympic Games, first held in 776BC, has a history of more than one thousand yiars. The Games is held every four years. Many countries try their best to bid forhosting the Olympic Games. And every country does its best to get more medals in the Games. In 2000, the city of Sidney held the 27th Olympic Games. Over one hundred countries all over the world took part in it. We won 28gold medals that year. China, a major sport country, will hold the 29th Olympic Games in 2008. People from all walks of life are participating in various activities and making good preparations for it. Then we have the 50 meters dash, I won the secound.Peter who was in class 7 grade 4 won the first place.Then its 200 meters running.I ran the firstplace.

After I finishe my dash running, I went to have the long jump.Micheletried, but Jennifer jump further thanMichele, Peter jumped further than the two, finally I jump the furthest.

Next we have the relay race。We have eight people to have the competition.Im the first, so I can ran as fast as I can.The other people tried their best to run, and I tried the best, so Im proud of me, finally we can just get the sixth, but Im happy say, we all tried the best.

在读书节这一天，大家不用上学，不用做作业，可以尽情地看课外书，痛痛快快地在知识的海洋里畅游。可以和同学朋友交流自己的读书体会，表达自己的独特见解。还可以和同学把书中的情景表演出来!读书节可以每个月一次或每周两次。

我多么希望有一个读书节啊!

Every year when the autumn comes, there will be a sports meeting in my school. I am so impressed by the opening ceremony. Every class will march on the ground and show their features, which is very funny. Last year, a group of students wore the co-splay dresses. When they showed up, they caught all people’s attention and won the biggest applause. It is a great event for every student, and also a good chance to let students develop their creativity. This year, my class decided to make a big surprise. Everyone has provided their idea and I love the atmosphere. I am so looking forward to the opening ceremony.

During my secondary school years I often liked to go to the recreation room to play table tennis. Some of my classmates were very good at this game and I often tried to compete with them to improve my skill. In high school I spent many hours playing outdoor sports. I enjoyed team sports like basketball and volleyball. In my senior year I started to practice tennis. Sometimes I would find a partner to play tennis with me, but as yet I am not very good at this sport. Tennis requires great strength in the arms and legs as well as strong concentration on the game.
