Nowadays, people prefer to travel by air. This is because air travel has

some advantages. First of all, airplane, the miracle created by man, is the

fastest means of transport. It takes the least time for one to travel by air

from one place to another. Besides,travelingby air is convenient and

comfortable. Friendly air hostesses are affectionate and considerate. They look

after passengers all the way to their destinations. In addition, on long

distance flights there are films and music for people to entertain

themselves.

As a popular saying goes, "Everything has two sides." The same is true of

air travel. It has some disadvantages, too. For one thing, air travel is

As far I am concerned, the advantages mentioned above exceed the

disadvantages. If I were given choice between traveling by air and by train, I

The campaign draws our attention to wasting on campus.Some students are noticed to throw away a lot of food in the canteen. As is often the case, some lights are still on with nobody in classrooms. What’s more, many a student spends much money buying unnecessary items. As far as Iam concerned, it’s high time that we fought against wasting. Here’re my suggestions. Firstly, I think our school should carry out various activities to arouse students’ awareness of saving. Secondly, relevant rules and regulations are supposed to be made to punish those who waste things. Most importantly, we should form the habit of saving from now. The way people hold the belief that a fun-filled， pain-free lifestyle

equals happiness actually reduces their chances of ever obtaining real

happiness. If fun and pleasure are equal to happiness，then pain must be equal to

unhappiness. But in fact，the opposite is true： more often than not things that

lead to happiness contain some pain.

As a result，many people avoid the very attempts that are the source of true

self-improvement.
