可是，一个月后体重可达2千克，3个月就能长到五六千克。熊猫妈妈常把小熊猫搂在怀中，轻轻抚摸，外出时也把它衔在嘴里，或用背驮着，亲亲热热，形影不离。等到小熊猫五六个月大时，妈妈就开始教它爬树、游泳、洗澡和剥食竹子等本领。两年后，小熊猫才离开母亲，开始独立的生活。大熊猫的寿命一般为20-30年。 大熊猫的家族非常古老。
