The snake is a long and thin animal that lives in grass or other dark places. A snake has no legs or feet, but it can move very fast on its stomach. 埇桥马戏有着200多年的历史，从动物展示到动物一般表演，再到动物综合能力展示，形成了埇桥区独特的马戏文化和马戏产业。目前，埇桥区有200多家马戏民团，从业人员2万多人，常年活跃在全国各地，不仅丰富了人民群众的文化生活，也对人们认识动物、了解动物提供了帮助。

埇桥马戏各种动物的综合能力展示，源于受人类杂技表演的启发，并根据各种动物的性能，形成了埇桥马戏特有的“食物引诱，感情驯化”的驯化方式，驯化师驯化动物，都是从小就开展感情培育，像对待宠物一样精心饲养，并在饲养过程中，以递进方式进行逐步驯化。

埇桥马戏在发展过程中，十分重视对各类动物的保护，特别是国家级 一、二类保护动物，就是在各民团的保护下，有效地扩大了种群数量。

本着对社会的负责，加强对动物的保护和关爱，埇桥区马戏协会提出如下倡议：

一、严格遵守《中华人民共和国野生动物保护法》和一切与野生动物保护、驯化、繁育、演出等相关法律法规，真正做到善待动物，关爱动物，保护动物，和谐相处，文明演出。

二、在饲养过程中，严格按照各项规定，保证食品安全，笼舍宽敞，干净卫生，防病防疫。

三、在驯化过程中，要按照各种动物的习性和性能，在食物引诱，感情驯化的基础上，达到科学驯化、文明驯化。

四、在演出过程中，准确把握各种动物的习性和情绪，适时调整演出内容和场次，做到文明演出。

五、在运输过程中，要保证动物的合理活动空间，尽量避免长途运输，利用团队优势，就近演出。

埇桥区马戏协会希望各马戏民团进一步探索和提高科学驯化的水平，让关爱动物、保护动物表现在今后的每一言、每一行中，让埇桥马戏艺术为群众带来更多的快乐与享受。

近日，由相关部门举行的湛江市保护野生动物宣传月系列活动正式启动。为进一步增强全民保护野生动物的意识，湛江市林业局和湛江日报编辑部联合举办“保护野生动物共建蓝色湛江”征文活动。欢迎社会各界积极参与，踊跃投稿。

一、征文内容

野生动物是人类的朋友，是自然生态系统的重要组成部分，是大自然赋予人类的宝贵自然资源。保护野生动物，维护自然生态平衡，不仅关系到人类的生存与发展，也是衡量一个国家、一个民族、一个城市文明进步的重要标志。
