二：删除诸如"who is"或"that is"之类的关系代词，变从句为短语，例：

句：The novel， which is written in three parts， told a story that took place in the Middle Ages.

修改后：The three-part novel told a story set in the Middle Ages.

注：把句中的"three parts"改用形容词来表达，节省了四个不必要的单词"which is written in"。我们经常可以将关系代词如"that"去掉，这只会引起最少的变动。

三：剔除你不需要的单词，例：

Two joint partners will present their views over a long-distance telephone call. 写完这样的句子后，你自己再读一遍，挑出单词"joint"和"telephone"，注意删去不必要的词。

对于这次英语考试，我并不是很满意我自己，在语、数、英这三科主课中，我英语算是最好的，但这次只考了85.5分，在语、数、英三科成绩中占居第二。我一开始还很有信心拿90分的好成绩，但考好之后，我就有点慌了——我有一种不祥的预感：这次准考不好。结果我的感应“显灵”了——90分都不到。

"different"虽拉低了水准，但"as to"又拯救了回来。

这句话貌似亮点不多，顶多一个"hold"，但也是安全牌，容易理解。

三、得出最终结论的万能模板：

1、Taking all these factors into consideration, we naturally come to the conclusion that...把所有这些因素加以考虑，我们自然会得出结论……

很完全的答法，"take sth into consideration"短语的应用，加分。

2、Taking into account all these factors, we may reasonably come to the conclusion that...考虑所有这些因素，我们可能会得出合理的结论……

"Take into account sth"短语似乎又比上句的"take sth into consideration"提升了一个层次。

3、Hence/Therefore, wed better come to the conclusion that...因此，自然我们得出以下结论。。。

"Hence"一词用在文章中大气吧，但别平时口语中用，否则即使老外也用一种看老古董的眼神看你。。。

再特意提一句："wed better"在这里不是“不得不”或“最好”的意思，而是一种自然而然，水到渠成的得出结论。

短语"there is no doubt that"上线，同时运用我们的老朋友"as well as"增加看点。

四、提出最终建议的万能模板：

1、It is high time that we put an end to the (trend).该是我们停止这一趋势的时候了。

"It is high time" 打头，为该句增色。注：that 后跟虚拟语气，后跟动词的一般过去式，表示“是某人做。。。的时候了”或者“是某人不做。。。的时候了”

2、It is time to take the advice of ... and to put special emphasis on the improvement of ...该是采纳……的建议，并对……的进展给予非常重视的时候了。

去掉一个"high"，画风完全不一样，不用过去式，只需用"to do"来替代。

这句有些老生常谈，稍微不“常”的就是"essential" 替代了"important"。

一、构思、准备不充分，匆忙下笔

任何一篇作文出题都是有它独特的道理的，所以提前审题和构思就显得必不可少了。很多孩子目前存在一个情况，想到哪写到哪，有记流水帐的习惯;这也造成了作文杂乱无章，毫无条理，同时容易出现写错单词和用错句型的情况。

Everyone has his favorite teacher ,so do I. My favourite teacher is Miss Wei, our English teacher. We felt English very difficuit when we began to study English. We can keep in touch with the others with the emails, msn and QQ etc. Enjoying ourselves in music, games and movies can loosen us after nervous classes.

Each coin has two sides. Disadvantages of the computers can also do harm to us. Most of us students use the computers more to play games and chat with strangers than searching for useful information. China has often been criticized for the rampant practice of software piracy. Take a look around. We operate on pirated Windows systems, defend PC security with pirated Kaspersky anti-virus programmes, process files with pirated Microsoft Office, draft 3D designs with pirated AutoCAD, refine pictures with pirated Adobe Photoshop, and study English with pirated Kingsoft’s electronic dictionaries and translators. It’s no exaggeration that pirated software is everywhere。

The logic behind the phenomenon is simple and clear: if a pirated copy is available for just a tiny fraction of the normal price, not to speak of many of the free downloads online, who would pay for an authentic copy? Cheaper prices aside, easy access is another important factor. With such a large gathering of pirated upgrades around, who would bother to spend time and money searching the stores for an authorized yet outdated version?

Despite these apparent benefits, the practice of software piracy should be banned, because it represents unfair competition and by nature it’s a no-win situation. But how? Two approaches are to be taken at the same time: Technically, software developers should enhance their antipiracy engineering, so that cracking the software should be virtually impossible. And legally, the government should also tighten its antipiracy laws and toughen up the penalties, so that violations should be costly。
