四年级的时候，我们换了一位班主任，她姓谢。谢老师个儿头高高的，留着短发，很精神。一双炯炯有神的眼睛，时时刻刻都像在寻找什么，从没歇着过。一说话就面带微笑，让我感到她很亲切。

记得有一天上课写作业时，我突然感到头昏脑胀，就举手向老师报告。老师一摸我的头，说：“呀，好像发烧了!你先趴一会儿，我打电话。”因为我家离学校很近，爷爷马上来接我。走的时候，谢老师还一个劲儿地叮嘱我好好休养。老师，谢谢您对我的关心。

谢老师在课上是个很严厉的老师，在课下又非常关心我们的身心健康，有时学习累了像我们的伙伴一样跟我们玩;有时玩疯了，您还会开玩笑。您讲的笑话故事又幽默又好听，常常逗得同学们捧腹大笑，还能把一个个道理通过故事告诉我们。

知道吗?谢老师讲课，我们大家都愿意听，愿意学。因为她的课总是像一块磁石一样，吸引着每一个同学。在她的课上，你不仅能学到课本上的知识，还有听到许多课本上没有的知识。谢老师就是这样，在一节课上，用很多内容丰富了我们的课堂，充实了我们的大脑。

我还记得，四年级刚来思源学校读书，是麦老师教我们英语，当她走进教室的一刹那，全班人用期待的目光投向麦老师：她穿着一身碎花长裙，当我望着她那慈爱的眼神，感觉麦老师的眼睛会说话一样，她的眼睛好像对我说：“你好，同学！我是你们的英语老师。”

她长着一双可以说话的眼睛，头发乌黑光亮，眼睛可以称得上“火眼金睛”，不管是谁在吵闹，她都能一一叫出名字！我们很怕她，但是她的声音很温柔。麦老师虽然抓到了那些捣乱的男同学，但是没有打骂他们，而是低声的说：“下次还犯吗？能做到的同学回座位坐好，做不到的同学站一节课。”那几个同学异口同声的说：“老师，下次不犯了！”同学们都一一回到座位坐好，并且不发出一丝声响。

麦老师知道我请了一个星期的假，怕我跟不上，很多课间活动麦老师都叫我，不会的题她会耐心给我讲解。

我喜欢上麦老师的课，最喜欢英语晚修课，因为麦老师会来班上。麦老师是我到思源学校以后最喜欢的一位老师，我恨不得一个星期的课和晚修都是麦老师的。她讲课很有趣，课上会做一些小游戏，麦老师的课堂同学们都会积极举手回答问题。我就奇怪了，为什么别的课我就不爱举手呢？而到了她的课大家都很活跃！我已经有了答案。因为我们喜欢麦老师，所以我们喜欢英语课。

但是今年麦老师请了很长的假，也不知道麦老师干嘛去了，我觉得麦老师很可能已经辞职了。不可能！麦老师不可能辞职的！我很想念您，麦老师，我看不到你那会说话的眼睛就会很不舒服，麦老师，你快点回来吧！

Dear Ms Zhang,

I’m writing to express my sincere gratitude to you. You are the very person who gave me a hand when necessary.

One month ago, with the College Entrance Examination around the corner, I was nervous and in low spirits, being afraid of letting my parents down because of my average academic performance. When I was at a loss and on the point of giving up, as my headteacher, you asked me to go to your office. Instead of blaming me, you comforted me and discussed with me the reasons for my failing in the exam. More unforgettably, you managed to help me with my study and always inspired me from time to time. Gradually, I learned how to adjust to myself and stayed calm in the College Entrance Examination.

Ms Zhang, I’m more than grateful for what you have done for me, from which I’ve got to know it is never too late to get back when there is still hope. Wish you happiness and good health.
