Today, we went to Petrified national park. We went to a trail called Crystal Forest. We saw Petrified wood. They are like gems. By the continental drift, it was hard for plants to survive. How they turned petrified was, they fell in a river and they got covered by ash and they waited to be petrified. I enjoyed the day more than anything.

Today, I visited Hopi land. It was a Hopi village.There were three Dormitories: First Mesa, Second Mesa, Third Mesa. I visited a man named Ernie. He has a workshop. In his workshop are all amazing local jewels. He gave me a Opal. It was violet blue. There is fire in it. Today is a stupendous day!

Today, I went to drive in Monument Valley. We almost bumped our butts off. We made our own monument. We went in Monticello to go tothe restroom. It was a science lab. I copied a wolf on a computer. I also used handles to control tarish liquid that has iron in it. I also also did was control a ball. Last, I made a rose for mom and much more. Today is a supertastic day!

Today, I hiked on a trail in Arches national Park. It was the longest trail I ever hiked on. It was a rocky and dangerous mountain. I was extra exhausted. When I was at the top, WOW! It was an arch called Delicate Arch. It looks like Athena looking over everybody’s eyes to see if they are obeying rules. How can a loose little arch stand so high. So today was a miracle.

It is reported that tourists to China’s Great Wall can now leave their mark on a fake wall recently built near the real wall in Badaling if they pay 999 yuan.

In China, many visitors have the hobby of carving graffiti on places of interest, especially on some famous cultural relics. Last year I went to the Great Wall and found many people had left names and ugly words on the Wall, which destroys many historic bricks. In my opinion, such people should feel ashamed of leaving their marks on the great relics which were created by our ancestors.

So personally I quite agree with this brilliant project though it has caused criticism from some people. The Great Wall would be ruined one day if we didn’t take any steps to protect it. Behaved Tourism When holiday comes, thousands of people pour into the tourist sites, they want to relax themselves and enjoy the beautiful scenery. But Chinese people have a bad habit, they like to leave some notes on the site, proving them have been here before. Such a behavior has been criticized by the public, because the leaving note will damage the preservation of the tourist site. Most of the tourist sites are part of our country’s historical relics, these sites are priceless, it is everyone’s duty to protect the sites. When we go to travel, we should behave ourselves. First, we need to have the idea that no rubbish being leaved behind when we leave the site. We should take away what we bring, keep the environment clean. Second, no any notes being written in the sites. Though in the old days, Chinese workers like to leave their names on the sites, but now it is a new world, we need to behave ourselves.

I am going to take advantage of my holiday to have a tour around the town.I have two hundred yuan in my hand.Here below is my plan for the travel.

I plan to go there by train and (go)back by bus,this will cost me fifty yuan.Besides that,I will stay there for about three days,in other words,I need to live in the hotel for two nights.This will cost me forty yuan.Also I need to pay about forty-five yuan for my own meal. 第一天，我们就去了埃菲尔铁塔。站在塔下，它真的很高。它是一座于法国巴黎战神广场上的镂空结构铁塔，总高度达到324米。铁塔设计新颖独特，是世界建筑史上的技术杰作，因而成为法国的一个重要景点。那时候，正值圣诞节，游人如织，加上白白的雪花，让我感觉就像在画里一样。

第二天，我们又去了巴黎圣母院大教堂。它是一座位于巴黎市中心的教堂建筑，也是天主教巴黎总教区的主教座堂。圣母院约建造于1163年到1250年间，是法兰西岛地区的哥特式教堂群里面，非常具有代表意义的一座教堂。我第一次进教堂，大家都很安静地坐在里面听牧师在布经，气氛很庄严。

接下来，我们去了巴黎凯旋门。它位于巴黎戴高乐星形广场的中央。法国皇帝拿破仑为纪念战争的胜利而建立，它特别的大，他是欧洲100多座凯旋门中最大的一座。广场周围有12条放射形林荫大道，广场上几乎总是车水马龙，游人可以登上凯旋门欣赏巴黎的美丽景色。我拍了很多照片。每个景色都是那么地美，那么地有特色，令我终生难忘。

I went Chong Qing in July 22.It is a city which was built near mountains.

So people call it Mountain City. In Chong Qing,I went to the Red Stone Center, to see the places which the prisoners lived in the past. It is a terrible and awful trip. There are a lot of dogs, and soldiers with guns near the prisons. And most of the prisons are good, they didnt want to tell the bad people where the other people were. They lived in very small houses. No good food to eat, no good water to drink.They had only twenty minutes to stay out side per day but they still said nothing.

I think they are the heros in that century. I will follow their spirit.
