Since the first day of my winter vacation, I’ve decided to make it a

valuable and enjoyable one. I made a plan to finish my homework within the first

week, and after days of hard working, I actually got all my assignments done a

day earlier. I am pretty proud of myself for not —as usual —hang out with my

friends until the last few days of my vacation and rush through my homework.

In the rest of my winter vacation, I made up my mind to improve my reading

skills. I’ve had tons of books that I simply bought and put them on my shelf,

wishing some day they would be finished themselves. But this time, I realized I

was not trying my best last term and decided to make some change. I finished a

couple of novels and watched some classic movies, I also went to a library to

borrow some new books for next term. The more I read the more enthusiastic I

became, and now I’ve developed my reading skills a lot.

Another event in my winter vacation is that I went to hiking with my

parents. It was a warm, sunny day, which is pretty precious during winter time.

书面表达是近几年初中英语中考的重要题型，是一种反映学生表达、传递信息和解决实际问题的重要的语言测试手段，同时也是用于测试学生的语言交际能力和语言知识活用能力的一项综合性试题。《英语课程标准》对各个年级学生“写”的技能提出了明确目标，它要求学生具有较高的书面语言表达能力。然而，目前初中英语教学的书面表达相对滞后，学生的写作水平提高甚微，一提起写作学生们就犯愁，甚至一字不写，有的干脆放弃。写一篇像样的英语作文对80%的学生来说是“难于上青天”。究其原因是多方面的。学生方面：(1)汉语影响、生词造句;(2)词汇贫乏、搭配不当;(3)句型误用、语法不通;(4)信息不全、条理紊乱。因此，笔者结合新教材的内容，在教学中探索了学生写作训练的方法。

一、积累词汇

初中学生在阅读理解方面最大的障碍就是词汇量的缺乏，而扩大词汇量绝非死记硬背就能做到。最有效的方法就是大量接触各种不同体裁的英语文章，利用“在句中记，在文中记”的方法来积累词汇。因此我们指导学生依据英语报刊的特点，按栏目、话题、题材、体裁归类收集常用词，将出现频率较高的常用词汇积累到单词本子上，查字典写例句，初步学会这些单词的运用，放在身边，利用零散时间反复记忆，加强印象。还要求学生给出与单词有关的同义、近义、反义和词形相似的词，使词汇量得到最大限度的复现。如：反义词appear/disappear， crowded/uncrowded，polite/impolite/rude.词形相似的词except/expect，chance/change/challenge.这样，通过大量的词汇练习不仅仅能有效地积累词汇，还为组句打下了基础，同时还能训练学生的发散性思维和总结、归纳、比较的能力，为学生正确使用词句奠定了良好的基础。

二、活用词句

当学生有了一定的词汇量的时候，教师在教学中可以采用先易后难的方法，让学生用简单的词组成句子，再以句子的构成作为学生进行写作训练的起点，引导学生从对单个句型的掌握，逐渐过渡到多种句型的混用，直到学生能连贯自如地表达思想。一句多译，句型转换，是书面表达能力的关键。总的来说，教师在平时的教学中要将日常生活中经常出现的词、句作为材料让学生训练，使学生乐于接受，轻松完成，享受成功感。

例如：以study为中心组成句子。

I study in No.3 Middle School.I study very hard.My sister studies in the same school.But she studies harder than me.等等。

三、创设情景

例如，学生举行运动会，开“生日聚会”，以“A sports meeting”和“My birthday party”为语境，让学生在活动中仔细观察，亲身体验，然后试着用自己所学的语言知识，表达“A sports meeting”和“My birthday party”这些话题。在我们新教材的每个单元中，都设有写作训练题，它们用英语设置语境，用英语提示内容，这些写的练习，与我们平时用汉语给语境、用英语完成段落的方式相比，更为理想。当然，教师在设立语境话题时要与学生的水平和能力相适应，应从简到难，从浅到深进行。否则，学生会无从下笔，久而久之，他们会失去信心。

四、注重听、说和阅读的培养

在英语写作中听、说、读、写应同步发展。写作是一种语言输出形式，只有语言输入大于语言输出，语言输出才有可能。英语写作训练作为英语综合能力训练之一，是与英语的听说读不可分割的，它们是相互影响、相互作用的有机统一体，必须注重听、说、读、写能力的同步发展。

比如笔者实施多年的“五分钟课前演讲”：在上正课前五分钟里，要学生用英语讲述一个故事(积累素材);或者课前朗读一篇短小精 的文章，让大家课后模仿;或者就大家平时关心的话题写一个发言稿或演讲稿进行课前发言;或者让学生自立主题，围绕自己喜欢的主题写一段话。这种课前训练取得了很好的效果。

五、写英文日记

要养成记英语日记勤练笔的习惯。经常用英语记日记等于天天在练笔，这无疑是提高英语写作行之有效的好办法。在记日记时，不要总是用简单句，要有意识地用一些好的词组、句型和复合句等，使文句更优美生动。对一些所给情景写的文章，写好后要对照一些范文，找出差距，然后再去练习，不仅能促使学生及时巩固所学的知识，还能锻炼他们的恒心和学习毅力，同时对提高英语作文也是很有帮助的。只有这样，学生才能通过多练习提高英语写作水平。

总之，学生英语写作水平的提高不是一朝一夕的事，英语写作能力培养的训练方法也是多方面的，因此需要我们英语教师在教学工作中不断探索、不断研究，总结出一些更富有创新活力的英语写作方法。鼓励学生平时要多积累语素材，要求他们坚持长期写作训练，做到善于思考、勤于训练、勇于探究，充分发挥学生的潜力。久而久之，学生的写作水平就会有大幅度的提高。

My winter holiday was very interesting.as that day I got back to my native hometown,cousins and cousines took me to ski.My skiing skill isnt well,got down for 15 times,they laughed at me behind,I cant help smiling too.

The day of spring festival was the most happiness day,we had meal for the first,a table of delicious food,that made me so glad.then we played the fireworks.The childrens waving the lightening ticket while watching the adults playing the fireworks.that was so beautiful!like the stars rainning down the world.at the end,it was time to get the red bag.

Winter holiday life was really abundant!

It was a hot day during my summer holidays in 2003. My mother and I got on the bus which would take us to the village where my grandma lived. It was so hot that I felt very thirsty. Then I began to think of the sweet big watermelons and other fruits in Grandma’s house. I could hardly wait to arrive there and see my grandma.

It took us one more hour to get there. When we walked into the house, Grandma was busy preparing lunch in the kitchen. It seemed that she was very glad to see us, which I knew from the big smile on her wrinkled face. She brought out a big watermelon and cut it. It was so nice to eat the watermelon on such a hot day.

After lunch my mother fell asleep and I asked my grandma to tell me a fairy tale. We sat on the bed and she began to tell it. I listened to her quietly. It was not long before I fell asleep, too. I was dreaming when a terrible voice woke me up. I saw Grandma was lying on the ground with blood streaming down from her mouth. I couldn’t believe my eyes. How fearful a sight it was! I hurried to wake my mother up. We took her to the hospital in a hurry. But it was too late to save her. My beloved grandma’s heart stopped beating when we got to the hospital. You’ll never imagine how sad we felt then.    Grandpa was very well all the time. I had never imagined that she would leave us so soon. That evening I lay in bed alone. My eyes were full of tears. Everybody has a best friend that they can share everything with. I also

have a best friend. We met in school, and were in the same grade.

My best friend is a good student because he is very hardworking. I learn a

lot from him. He helps me with math; I help him with English. We always help

each other. Besides that, hes honest and reliable. I trust him completely and

My best friend is a loyal and brave boy. When a bully teased me, he came to

Today is my first day to attend this summer camp.

I got up at six twenty. I have my breakfast with my friend at tem past seven. Then we had an opening summer ceremony. At 9:00, the classmates in our class had an exam.

In the afternoon, we hfad two classes.the first seventy minutes, Miss Zhang taught us English. She taught us to sing a song. It’s a very beautiful and famous song from a famous movie. And then, a teacher from Australia taught us English. His name is brodie Williamson.

Today we learn unit 1. and I felt everything is interesting. I had a happy time.

I went to Xinjiang with my mom and dad in the summer vacation。 Every station of the silk road was full of beauty and magic。

Our first stop is to reach thirteen in the ancient city of Xian， where the world famous Terracotta Army of Qin， is the unity of Qin Shihuang made his China funerary， magnificent， true to life。

The second stop is Dunhuang。 We go by train。 In the silk train I met some new friends， they are three with a tour group is big sister in high school。 The train arrived at the destination at second oclock in the evening at 8 oclock。 Although it took a day and a half， but because we got to know so many new friends， we enjoyed ourselves on the train， so we didnt feel tired at all。

暑假我和爸爸妈妈一起去新疆旅游，丝绸之路的每一站都充满美景和神奇。

我们到达的第一站是十三朝古都西安，那里的秦兵马俑世界闻名，是统一中国的秦始皇造出来陪葬他的，宏伟壮观，栩栩如生。

第二站是敦煌，我们是坐火车去的。在丝绸火车上我认识了几位新朋友，她们是同一个旅行团里的三位即将读高中的大姐姐。火车第二天晚上８点才到目的地，虽然坐了一天半的时间，但因为结识了这么多新朋友，我们在火车上玩得开心，所以一点儿也不觉得累。

第二天一大早，我们去了鸣沙山、月牙泉，欣赏到无边无际的沙漠风光，骑着骆驼探寻沙漠中的奇观——不会枯竭的月牙泉。在敦煌，我们还看了莫高窟壁画，里面有飞天仙女、反弹琵琶舞，真不愧是古代能工巧匠的作品！可是听讲解员阿姨说，这么珍贵的古迹，现在却面临着被沙漠吞没的威胁。

第四天，我们再一次乘火车到达新疆著名的葡萄园——吐鲁番。我们享受着甜美的葡萄，欣赏了优美的新疆歌舞，体验了火焰山的炎热，观赏了令人惊叹的水利工程——坎儿井。

在依依不舍中告别吐鲁番的葡萄园，我们来到了此次丝绸之路旅行的终点站——乌鲁木齐，游天山天池，扮新疆姑娘，吃羊肉串，看惊险的“达瓦孜”高空走钢丝节目，尽情感受新疆的热情……

这次旅行，让我看到了祖国山河的美丽，体验了不同民族的风情，欣赏了古代人民的智慧成果，学到了很多历史和地理知识，还结识了很多新朋友。

Low-carbon Life

Low-carbon life is good for everyone. To help with the environment，I always walk or ride a bike to school instead of taking a car. Besides，I will try to use things that can be recycled and I never forget to turn off the lights when I leave the classroom. I think it‘s my duty to live a low-carbon life. And even the simplest activities can make a real difference to the environment. So I suggest we should reuse books as long as possible. And we’d better not spend much money on expensive clothes. If everyone does something for the environment，I believe the earth will be a better place.

Sports do us good in many respects.It goes without saying that taking

exercises can build up our physical strength. In collective sports like

basketball, volleyball, or football, we will learn the importance of

cooperation. While taking part in sports game, we will try our best to win and

arouse ourselves the competitive spirit. Sports can also help us relax after a

period of exhausting work. However, as the saying goes, "there are two sides to

everything", and sports is without exception. We may hurt other players or

ourselves if we are not careful enough when participating in sports activities.

Whats more, excessive or severe training can do harm to our health.

My participation in sports tells me that sports can make us healthy both

physically and psychologically. It is also a good way for people to know each

other and can promote friendship between people. So long as we are carefully

enough, sports can do us nothing but good.

星期天

今天是星期天，我和爸爸妈妈、外公外婆、爷爷奶奶一起到公园去玩。

公园里的人可真多啊！

幸福是什么?幸福是有爱的陪伴，有爱的滋养。在我们的生活中有温暖的母爱，温柔如和风轻拂。有朋友间真挚的爱，如云朵般纯洁。还有一种爱，是来自父亲那沉默的爱，也许你时常捉摸不到，疑惑又迷茫，但它确确实实陪伴着你。

在我的眼里，爸爸永远是忙碌的，永远没有陪伴我的时间。每当听到同学们神采飞扬地说起爸爸带着他们出门游玩，陪着他们参加各种课外活动时的情景，我都不由地心生羡慕。我是多么希望我的爸爸也可以抽出哪怕一点点的时间陪我下一盘棋、打一次球或是看一场电影……但是，爸爸总是那样忙碌，留给我的只有那匆忙的背影。我想爸爸是否是还爱着我的呢?

一个周末的下午，妈妈的手机响了，原来是爸爸去工地卸货把货物进场需要的检测报告丢在家里了，妈妈准备给爸爸送过去。一旁的我刚完成了作业，决定跟着妈妈一起出门。这段时间天气非常炎热，刚出门就感受到了太阳公公的热情，偶尔吹过的风都像是火炉里的热浪在翻滚。打了车坐进去，车内空调带给我的清凉一扫夏日的种.种不适。终于到了爸爸送货的工地，下了车，我远远地看到了爸爸的身影，在火热的太阳底下，那瘦瘦高高的身躯，正俯首吃力地搬卸着一块块厚厚的铁板。我加快脚步走进爸爸，豆大的汗珠不断地从他那黝黑的脸颊垂落下来。我不假思索地凑过去说：“爸爸，我来帮您!”正准备动手帮忙爸爸却抢先一步把我拉到阴凉处，说：“不用，这大铁块你哪搬的动，别刮伤了手。”紧接着跑去车里拿来一瓶水拧开递给我，转头对妈妈说：“好了，你们赶紧回去吧，这天气太热了。”我第一次注意到爸爸那布满老茧的手伤痕累累，创口贴包裹着新划破的伤口。不自觉地眼泪一下子涌入眼眶，模糊了我的视线，我强忍着哽咽想说些什么，却什么也说不出……爸爸用他那粗糙的手揉了揉我的头说了句：“傻孩子。”转身又开始忙碌起来。

父亲的爱就像空气，它如影随形，但我们总是忽略了它的存在。父爱如山，简单而沉默，我们需要多一点了解，用心去体会，就会发现父亲的爱深沉有力!
