Yesterday was my birthday, so some of my classmates sent me presents. Mother prepared a tea party for me. I invited all of them to come and take part in it.The tea party began at half past six. I was only nine years old when I learnt how to use a computer. my mother is my first teacher. I know how to type, how to copy a file, and how to visit a web site on the internet. one day, mom was not at home.

I turned on the computer and began to learn how to chat on net. the first one I met there was a boy called tom. he greeted me politely. when he knew that I was only a 9-year-old girl, and almost knew nothing about chatting on net,he started showing me how to use the chatting tools, how to download, and how to send e-mails. I learnt a lot from him.

English is the international language. Many parents have realized the

importance of mastering English and they spend a lot of time and money to help

their children learn it well. But with the development of Chinese economy, a lot

of foreigners come to China to learn its culture and language, so we cant

ignore the importance of Chinese. I have recited a lot of old poems. It makes me

feel the charm of these classic poems. Every poem uses a different way to show

the history. I find the great joy in learning Chinese. Both English and Chinese

I live with my father and mother in a very big house in Dongguan. My parents are both very busy. They leave for work very early in the morning and don’t return home until late in the evening.

When I am home on weekends from school, we spend a lot of time together. We talk about my studies, my health and my school life. I love my parents very much.

My grandparents are still living, but they don’t live with us. Their health is good and they both do sports very early in the morning. My grandmother does gymnastics with elderly women her age in the park. Both of my grandfathers play basketball in the morning and sometimes they go swimming.
