可怜的外婆，您卧病在床六月有余。饱受精神与病痛的折磨。从今年春节年初三那天我回去开始，你就开始了长达六个多月的卧病生活。六个多月啊!对一个健康人来说只是一瞬，可对于您一个寸步难移的病人来说是多么的难熬啊而且还要忍受病痛的折磨。清楚地记得那天我刚进您房间看您，您见到我第一句话就说：“儿啊!我这次怕是要走路了”。那话里掩饰不住的是强烈的惧怕。我听后十分的难过。没有正面回答您。我知道当时您心里害怕极了，您肯定很想听到我说一些安慰的话语。然而我就是没有说。那是因为我对外婆的感情太真。如果是一个与我不相干的老人说这样的话我也许会说上几句安慰的话。现在想来我真是太傻了!我不懂得人有时要讲一些善意的慌言。你还对我说：这次回来多住些日子，服侍我一下。又说请我和我老公把您搬到客厅去睡。外婆身体能动时从来没有向我提过什么要求。她能说出那些话说明她实在太需要别人的帮助了。我看到她十分吃力地爬起来坐在痰盂上小解后就起来不了了，得靠双手扶住两边的椅子撑起来，可以想像平时我们不在家时她有多难啊!她住的屋子又在后面，有事她喊破喉咙也无人听得到，所以她想我把她搬到客厅睡。可是这样的要求又有谁会应呢想起来好不叫人心寒!

外婆卧床六个多月，其间时时发疯。不知是病情使然还是被那样的处境逼疯的。外婆啊!您的命怎么这么苦啊但是尽管这样，外婆还是很留恋人间，她怕死，不想死。在她卧床的前几个月，她一直想战胜病魔好转起来。她说现在这段好日子，有吃有穿的，不让她多活几年。听得我心如刀绞。

外婆啊!您虽不是我的亲外婆，您与那个家没有任何的血缘关系。但是您把您的一生都奉献了那个家，带大了我们祖孙三代十几人。临到老了，在生命进入倒计时的最后时光，竟然过得这么惨!外婆啊!我们愧对您啊!您死去是一种解脱，来世您一定不会这么可怜了!外婆是我养母的养母，与我与养母一家毫无血缘关系。外婆一共生了四子一女，全部夭折。后来才抱养了养母。从此才与我们一家结下了离奇的缘分。养母又抱养了我，又生下了三弟一妹，由此我与外婆的情缘更是不同寻常。我和弟妹们都从小都是跟着外婆长大的。可以说我们兄妹五人小时候跟外婆在一起的时间比跟妈妈在一起的时间都要多。所以在我们的心目中外婆不是亲外婆胜似亲外婆。在我们小时候，外婆在她家和我们家两头住，直到养母生了小妹后外婆才完全搬来和我们一起住了。三十多年了，外婆从此再没有离开过我们家，直到她去世。我和三个弟弟小时候就是随外婆两头跑的，所以在我童年的记忆中，外婆家那个村与我们自己村一样的熟悉。外婆是五保户，她一直住在村里为她安排的祠堂旁边的小厨房里。那间小屋已经深深地刻在了我的记忆中。以致于这么多年常常在我的梦里出现。

One time I didn’t do well on a math test. It was the first time for me
