Alternative energy should be employed wherever possible. Eradicate any practice that wastes energy. Humans have overcome so many crises in history, and we’re sure to win this time also.

我是一名普通的小学生。现在我们鹤壁市举行了“绿色家园，低碳鹤城”的活动，相信大家都有所耳闻，可是，你们行动了吗?

我们是地球的主人，地球是我们的家园，我们应该保护它，不污染地球。低碳生活其实很简单，只要我们不浪费，就能为地球节省一些能源资产，为地球做一件好事，保护地球。

我记得在夏天，天气热得像蒸炉，大地上简直能冒出火，我和爸爸妈妈躲在家中，打开了空调。过了一会儿，爸爸把空调调到了二十摄氏度，我说：“爸爸，把空调关住吧，在下面扇电扇也挺凉快的，这样还省电。”爸爸用手拍了拍我的脑袋，说：“你真是个懂得节约的好孩子。”于是，我们家进入了低碳生活，我为地球节约了能源。

还有一次，爸爸正在烧菜，我走过去一看，呀!火苗差点“窜”到锅上了!我对爸爸说：“爸爸，你的火开的太大了，会把油给引燃的。”“你说的太对了，我应该把火苗关小，这样既省天然气，又不会把油点燃。”说着，爸爸一只手把火苗关小，一只手对我竖起大拇指。

2、我们想看到到青山绵亘林壑尤美；我们还想看到高山之上，皆生寒树，负势竟上，互相轩邈；我们还想听到泉水激石，泠泠作响，流水淙淙，清脆悦耳。

4、我们要节约每一滴水。记得随手关好水龙头，不要以为水笼头滴几滴水算不了什么，一个水笼头每秒钟滴一滴水，一年就是白白流掉36方水。我们要积极寻找生活中节水的“金点子”：比如把洗菜的水用来浇花、涮拖把、冲厕所等等，加以循环利用。

5、我们要节约每一度电。随手关灯，合理使用空调，寻找节电小常识，并尝试着去实践。积极使用太阳能、风力发电、潮汐发电等清洁能源。我们要节约每一张 纸。要做到作业纸双面使用，多用手帕，少用纸巾。假如我们每人每天节约一张纸，全国一年可以节约4745亿张纸，一年可以少砍伐158。1666万棵树。 从这个意义上来说，节约用纸，也就是制造森林。

一大早醒来，发现我竟然变成了一只小鸟，我快活地在户外飞来飞去。越飞越远，飞到了一个沙漠的上空，呼，一阵大风吹过，沙尘暴像恶魔一样吞噬了公路、房屋，我也被风沙弄得眼睛很不舒服。唉，因为人们没有约束地滥伐树木，树越来越少，没有树林保护的土地，渐渐地被风化成了沙漠。我赶紧飞到了另一个地方——黄河上空。黄河水凶猛地向河堤冲去。河堤冲垮了，黄河水开始肆无忌惮且凶猛地向着附近村子冲去。我尖叫一声，想提醒村子里的人快逃。但晚了，一个又一个的房屋消失在洪水之中。由于河堤上原来的森林被砍伐了，剩下的树木根本不是洪水的“对手”，给人们带来了许多灾难。
