Last year, I traveled to Beijing by train. It was very fast. I like travel by train, because I like the feeling in the train. Besides, I can enjoy the scenery on the way. However, after the journey last week, I dont want to travel by train anymore, because it is too tired to have fun. It took me sixteen hours on the train. When I was a primary school student, my family and I took a trip to five

cities which were in the south of China.

First, we came to Nanjing by plane. That was the first time I had taken the

plane and it took us an hour and a half to get there. We arrived in Nanjing in

the morning. At 11:30 we went to a restaurant to have lunch. The food tasted

delicious. In the afternoon we went to “Zhongshanling”. It was the place that

preserve the tomb of Mr. Sugshan.

The next day, we came to Wuxi and then Suzhou where we visited the region

of rivers and lakes of “周庄”. It was a beautiful and old place. The house there

were along the river and the women always washed clothes at the bank.The fourth

day, we came to Hangzhou where We visited “The West Lake. It was very beautiful

and the water was clear .

As we all know, Hangzhou is famous for silk and tea, so we bought some

beautiful silk and famous tea of “龙井”.The last place that we visited was

Shanghai. It was one of the biggest city is China. The night view in Shanghai

was more beautiful than Beijing. We visited the TV tower of “东方明珠”. It was the

third tallest tower in the world. Standing in the tower you could see the whole

city. In the evening, we lived in a hotel with 25 floors. I was very excited

that evening.

This trip took us seven days and we went back to Beijing by plane. The

plane was very very big. There were three engine rooms. I felt happy and I would

never forget the trip.

If I were to leave my home for a year, there is one thing I definitely

would take with me: my cell phone. With my cell phone, I could call my friends

or family if I ever was lonely, needed advice, or just wanted to talk.

There are many beautiful trips keep in my heart, but the most unforgettable good trip is in 2010, I went to Hangzhou to join in "National Competition for King of Story ", by the way to there, I went to a old town - Wuzhen, and a well known beautiful lake - West Lake. Especially, I had a exciting Wu Pengchuan ride on Wuzhen Lake, sit down in it, just extend your hand, you can enjoy a cool summer in this clear lake. Weall didnt want to go home because the view is so beautiful, and thereare so many other exciting things to try, but sadly it was time for us to go.

Up along the hill，a kind of red flower called Triangle Plum will come into view. Its the City Flower of Sanya. Halfway up the hill，a tuft of Triangle Plum，de-scending like a waterfall，is a really amazing sight. Not far from the flower and at the foot of an old tree stands a tablet inscribed with the red Chinese characters Hai Shi Shan Meng(a solemn pledge of love.On the branches of the old tree are hanging many ribbons indicating the permanent love of peoples prayers. Walking along，you will see a pavilion called Shanmeng(unalterable love)Pavilion containing the Shanmeng Tablet，which corresponds to the four characters mentioned before. At the top of the hill，towers a twelve-meter(39 feet)high granite statue.The statue is really unique in its design;consisting of a deer looking back，flanked by the young Li hunter and the beautiful fairy girl，its a visual reminder of the memorable legend.

Summer Holiday in Taiwan

Summer can be very hot in southern Taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.

Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation， however， was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words， I must find time to study， too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

my summer vacation of this year was very enjoyable. i went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays. it is very beautiful there. there are green plants, clear rivers, lovely animals kind people. i spent two weeks helping my grandfather do some farm work there. i wrote down what happened in my diary every day.

A Trip by Car

I often make a trip by trains because its both cheap and comfortable. Last winter holidays I traveled in a car for the first time in my life. At first I didnt feel well. I have a very cheerful holiday in “The National Day”. My parent and I went to Shanghai about nine days ago. We got there by plane, I think that shanghai must be a very big city, and there are a lot of tall buildings. First we went into the hotel named”chuang ye”. And we saw the tall big building “Shanghai TV Tower”, at nine in the evening, we got back to the hotel. The second day, we visited Zhouzhuang. It’s very beautiful and the air was good, I bought my favorite toy : weapons. I like them very much. Shanghai’s food tasted good. Today we are very happy and tired, so we slept early in the night. The third day however, we didn’t go anywhere, we stayed in the hotel until late in the afternoon. In the evening, we came back to Tianjin by plane to. This travel was fantastic!

For most people， they will choose to travel during holiday because they want to relieve themselves from the high pressure of work。 However， it happens quite often that people often ran into traffic jams on the way to travel。 Some people think that we can relax ourselves by traveling no matter of how many people there。 Some people would rather to stay in home than going out to travel because they think there are too many people swarm into the scenic spots。 In my point of view， I would rather to stay indoors rather than going out to travel。 Reasons are listed below。

Firstly， during holiday， so many people swarm into the travel spots that we can’t enjoy ourselves to the full。 For most people， they want to travel because during holiday， they can have several days to relieve themselves by traveling。 However， so many people crowd together will make their tour lose the original fun。

Secondly， during holiday， price will be rising drastically。 It is known to all that you need to spend much more to buy things or taking bus or any other transportation since many retailers will raise goods’ price during this holiday to get fat profits。

All in all， travel during holiday is not a good choice for us since its inconvenience in traveling among a huge crowd of people and also the dramatically high price for goods and transportations will let us pay extra money。

Im happy to have such a good summer holiday.because I will have much time to visit some places of intrest.Im going to Beijing tomorrow,so now I feel very happy.I will go there by plane and stay there for 10 days.This is my first time to go to Beijing,not only the Olympic Games is coming,but also I can learn more knowledges about the Olympic Games.And it is a great chance for me to communicate with foreigners,so I wont miss it.Therefore,now I want to say:Beijing,Im coming!
