Celebrated in areas with large populations of ethnic Chinese, Chinese New Year is considered a major holiday for the Chinese and has had influence on the new year celebrations of its geographic neighbors, as well as cultures with whom the Chinese have had extensive interaction. These include Koreans (Seollal), Tibetans and Bhutanese (Losar), Mongolians (Tsagaan Sar), Vietnamese (T?t), and formerly the Japanese before 1873 (Oshogatsu). 大家都应该知道春节很重要的一件事情就是——上供。大家可别小看了这件事情这可是有讲究的。例如，上供用的水果不能马虎，不是所有的水果都适合去供奉祖先和神灵的。要选着寓意好的水果。例如：苹果——平平安安，桔子——金桔满堂，橙子——心想事成。像梨，就不可以作为贡品因为有一部分人认为梨和“离”是同音别字。所以不受大家欢迎。还有就是香蕉——焦头烂额。所以有些水果不能上供。

水果只是一部分贡品还有就是饺子作为贡品一定要成双成对的放不能落单。把糖作为贡品上供的时候要放硬糖不能放软糖。因为这样的甜蜜够硬不会散。

Serious Floods

The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And its important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children cant go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. In China, millions of soldiers are busy fighting against the floods. They are working very hard. Many of them have lost their lives in their attempt to save the villagers.

Though we cant help them to fight against floods, we should help them to rebuild their homeland. We can present them our pocketmoney and clothes. I believe most of the people will return to their homeland in the near future.

到了三亚，我们找到住的地方，安顿了下来。从第二天起，我们就开始了有趣的三亚旅游。万寿山是我们去的第一个景点。山上树木花草郁郁葱葱。万寿山的最大特色是有一尊高达100多米的佛像。

我们又去了亚龙湾。那里沙子又白又细，海水又蓝又清。我们上午在那游泳。到了下午，海水涨潮了，我们到海水的深处，大浪一过来，我们就被冲上岸了。真好玩。

接着，我们来到了天涯海角，那里天气十分炎热，我们为了凉快凉快，就慢慢的走进大海。开始海水刚到膝盖，突然，来了一个大浪，把我们全身都打湿了。哎，打湿了就在水里接着玩一会儿吧。

我们还泡了温泉。这可不是一个一般的温泉，温泉里生活着一种可以在热水里生活的小鱼，它们能吃你脚上的皮屑，小鱼咬着我脚上的皮，痒痒的，特别好玩。

沙滩是我们的天堂。我们玩各种各样的游戏，比如堆沙丘，做沙球…。其中最有意思的是埋鞋子让别人找。别人找不出来，就让我找，最后连我自己找都找不着了，我感觉莫名其妙，我想：我自己都找不着，别人怎么找?那我就再埋一只让别人找吧!我想着想着就埋了一只，好家伙儿!我刚把第二只埋好，站了起来，结果和上一次的一模一样，把大家乐得哈哈大笑，我也搞不清楚是怎么回事。

最后一天，我们去了蜈支洲岛。它是一个岛屿嘛，当然要坐船去喽。那天风很大，把浪乱的老高老高，船从浪上过去时，会有一种失控的感觉，挺好玩的。

我们一共在三亚玩了六天，每一天我们都有特殊的乐趣，特殊的感受，使我开阔了眼界。这一次旅游，让我得到了充分的放松，使我以饱满的精神迎接新学期的到来。

The Spring Festival is very important to Chinese people. In the past，people

could not often have meat，rice or other delicious food. They could only eat

these during the Spring festival. So every year they hoped that the Spring

Festival would come soon. Now， although people‘s life is much better，and we can

eat the delicious foods everyday. People still like the festival. Because most

people can have a long holiday，and we are free to go on a trip or visit our

friends or have parties with our family. In the evenings，we can have a big meal

in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programs.
