一天，我和妈妈去菜市场买菜。

菜市场里全都是叫卖声，卖白菜喽，卖青菜喽，卖青蛙喽。我一听有青蛙卖，我就拉着妈妈兴奋地去看青蛙。妈妈看见这里的青蛙又肥又大，就说：“你想不想买几只青蛙尝尝?”我点了一点头。妈妈看见我在点头，就对卖青蛙的人说：“老板，给我挑几只大一点的青蛙!”我高高兴兴地买了几只青蛙回家了。

真的，我从那以后，我再也没有买到过这么大的鱼了。可是那天的情景却一直铭刻在我的记忆里，爸爸坚定的话语也一直回响再我的耳边。

在星期一下午，我和焦益程去包干区捡垃圾，来到教室窗口草地上。只见草地上都是垃圾又脏又臭，还有人不时从楼上窗口往下倒水，溅得到处满是水。我们拿起钳子，慢慢弯下身，夹起一个个垃圾，小心翼翼的放入垃圾桶。正当我俩干得热火朝天时发现了一条死去的鸟，我猜测它也许是被冻死的。“哈哈死鸟可真好玩!”大胆的焦益程夹起死鸟炫耀起来。他夹着死鸟走出草地，还把死鸟摇来摇去，把周围的同学吓得四处逃散。我拉住焦益程，大声说：“焦益程快点停下来!”“我还想玩”，焦益程回答道。我心想：小鸟都死了还折磨它，它可真可怜啊!焦益程夹着它，把它用力的往池塘中丢去。结果死鸟漂浮在水面上，焦益程一看没兴趣，又把它夹回来地面，我一看毛骨悚然，心中愤愤不平，恨不得让他也掉入水中去感受下，洗个脏水澡一下。让人悲痛欲绝的是，焦益程将死鸟扔进草丛中，再用力地扔到远处。焦益程还把死鸟踩住，用力将死鸟的头扭断，结果他左扭右扭，无论怎样都不能扭断。我想：小鸟以前在天空中飞翔是那么快乐，可是现在......最后，我把死鸟埋葬了。

就拿印度洋毛里求斯群岛上生活的渡渡鸟来说，由于它身上的肉鲜美无比，所以遭到当时人类的大量捕食，在十七世纪就已告灭绝。但是如果当时人们有动物保护意识的话，就不会造成渡渡鸟的灭绝。再说生活在我国青藏高原的藏羚羊吧，因为它其外层皮毛下面的被称作沙图什的绒毛异常精细，可以用来织成华丽的披肩，而惨遭偷猎者大肆捕杀。因为织出一条女式沙图什披肩便需要300至400克生绒，这意味着要牺牲3只藏羚羊的生命。所以在上世纪90年代初期，藏羚羊的数目只有65000只到72500只之间，要知道这只有100年前藏羚羊总数的十分之一。所幸的是人们意识到了保护这种濒临灭绝的动物。现在北京已有多名志愿者来到可可西里担当起义务看护藏羚羊的活动。同时国际爱护动物基金会从1999年起每年为我国藏羚羊保护捐赠8万至10万美金用以在可可西里、羌塘和阿尔金山三大自然保护区开展反盗猎行动和针对藏羚羊保护的各种宣传活动。我们人类正慢慢将藏羚羊这种可爱的动物从灭绝的边缘拉回来。

一年中有许多节日：快乐的儿童节、团圆的中秋节、热闹的春节……而我要设立一个与众不同的节日——保护动物节。

我从小就喜爱动物。常常吵着买动物书，去动物园，看到一只瘸腿的纺织娘都要伤心，吵着妈妈为你它绑纱布。每次，看到那些可爱、漂亮的的小动物，我就觉得他们真可爱，大自然有了它们真幸福。

那天，我兴致勃勃地收看《动物的生命》。电视中介绍着一个个有趣的动物，这些动物时而奔跑，时而争斗，时而戏耍……可是后来，我看到这样令我心惊胆战的一幕：一群非洲人正在追赶一只黑犀牛，犀牛拼命逃命。突然，一颗从天而降的子弹直射在犀牛的身上，一击命中，一个非洲人走过去，不顾犀牛的悲鸣，用一把匕首把犀牛的角切了下来。非洲人看了看手中的牛角大笑：“这一定能卖个大价钱……哈哈哈……”转身开车而去。我不忍心再看下去，眼前总是浮现起犀牛那无助的眼神，血肉模糊的脑袋。我不明白：“人类呀人类，为什么偏偏要杀死我们人类的朋友——动物，他们也有生命的呀?”突然，我的脑海里产生了一个强烈的念头——对了，我们要保护动物，灵机一动：应该可以建立一个保护动物的节日!

保护动物节来了，这天，每个人的心中都有着“爱护动物”的信念，哪怕一只小小的蚂蚁我们都可以投去爱的目光，那天饭桌上不能有肉类。大街小巷的电视屏幕上要循环播放保护动物的频和口号。大家在这一天要进行慈善捐款，成立“基金会”，用这些钱去建立自然保护区，大家还可以去动物园认养一只动物。好多同学都上街进行宣传保护动物，每个人心中都牢记保护动物的责任……

那天我听完法制讲堂《动物也要受法律保护》以后，我对《动物保护法》有了一定的了解。我认识到了保护动物的重要性。

从我小时候和爸爸妈妈一起去动物园，我看到了我们的国宝——大熊猫。我马上就喜欢上了它们，大熊猫憨态可掬的样子很是招人喜欢。

但是，你们知道吗?所有生物都是需要保护的，其中当然也包括熊猫啦!大熊猫之所以珍贵，不仅因为它体态可爱，数量稀少，更重要的是，它是有着300万年历史的古老动物，对科学工作者研究古代哺乳动物具有珍贵的价值。因此，大熊猫有着“活化石”之称化石。汶川地震，熊猫基地的每一只小熊猫的生命都牵动着我的心。

我们一定要好好保护这一濒临灭绝的大熊猫，好好保护所有的动物。。

保护动物，是我们人人都要做到的，许多人任意去猎杀动物，虽然现在的人都说要保护动物，但是还有很多顽固的人不听，继续猎杀动物，导致许多动物都在没绝，同时人类还拿动物来观赏、卖钱，用兽皮做大衣……但你们有没有想过，如果你是一只动物，却遭到了人类的猎杀，你会怎么想，你愿意吗，你愿意被猎杀吗？你绝对不愿意，有些人说：“我又不是动物。”但你们有没有想过动物们会怎么想吗？现在人类大量捕杀动物，动物会甘心吗？不，不会，永远不会。它们有千千万万的不愿意。

还有鲸，鲸不是让你们随意捕杀的，鲸是被杀掉一头就死一头的，不像小鱼小虾那样多，如果我们把鲸杀掉了，那我们的子孙后代，他们不是看不到鲸这种动物吗？也不曾知道有过鲸这样庞然大物的动物的存在。

现在，有些动物已经灭绝了，就拿快要灭绝的鳄鱼来说，虽然很凶猛，但人类更凶猛。就是因为有些动物身上的器官具有突出的经济价值，由此成为被人类掠夺利用的对象，成为动物灭绝的主要因素。鳄鱼长着锐利的牙齿，和硕大的食物胃口，我们都说鳄鱼可怕，但鳄鱼更怕人类，在人类的眼中，鳄鱼皮可以制成行李箱，手提包，钱包，鞋等物品，所以鳄鱼，现在已经成为快要灭绝的动物了。

朋友们，动物的大量毁灭对人类将产生严重的不良后果，造成生态环境严重不平衡，从而使人类的生存环境遭到破坏。消灭动物，就是在消灭人类自己，如果有一天世界上的动物全都消失了，那人类还能生存吗？要保护动物，珍惜这自然界里的每一个生灵吧！让我们从现在做起，从我做起，保护动物，使世界变得更美好吧！保护动物，就是保护人类自己。

人类啊！醒悟吧，让“保护动物”不只是说说而已。动物是人类的朋友，是地球大家庭中的一员，动物同人类生活在同一个地球上，动物作为食物链中的一员，如果动物灭绝了，那么人类也逃脱不了灭绝的厄运。

动物是有灵性的，它们也有思维和感情，人类怎么能忍心去杀害它们呢？每一个物种的消失，都是人类走向孤独的脚步，没有了动物的陪伴，人类还能走多远？保护动物绝不仅仅是一个组织的责任，大自然为大家所共有，保护动物，人人有责。但愿每个人都问一下自己，自己的行为曾经给地球带来过怎样的伤痛？自己有没有为一时的利益而透支我们的未来？

近日，由相关部门举行的湛江市保护野生动物宣传月系列活动正式启动。为进一步增强全民保护野生动物的意识，湛江市林业局和湛江日报编辑部联合举办“保护野生动物共建蓝色湛江”征文活动。欢迎社会各界积极参与，踊跃投稿。

一、征文内容

野生动物是人类的朋友，是自然生态系统的重要组成部分，是大自然赋予人类的宝贵自然资源。保护野生动物，维护自然生态平衡，不仅关系到人类的生存与发展，也是衡量一个国家、一个民族、一个城市文明进步的重要标志。

保护野生动物是每一位公民应尽的义务和责任。关爱野生动物，就是善待我们自己，就是爱护我们的家园，就是珍惜我们的生命。征文作品要求围绕“保护野生动物 共建蓝色湛江”的主题，抒发对保护野生动物的认识和感受等。

二、征文要求

1. 征文作品以散文、随笔为主。作品要求主题鲜明，健康向上，感情真挚，文字精练。字数宜在1200字以内。

2. 作品必须是作者原创，文责自负。

3. 作品均使用Word文档排版。并在标题前注明“保护野生动物 共建蓝色湛江”征文字样。

4. 征文时间：即日起至2015年12月15日止。

5. 投稿一律不退，请作者自留底稿。

三、奖项设置

征文活动结束后，将评选出一等奖2名、二等奖4名、三等奖10名。获奖作品将颁发证书和奖金。并择优刊登在《湛江日报》上。

In the past, there have been many endangered animals. Now they are extinct. Does it matter? Has our environment been affected by their absence? Has the quality of our own life been changed? The answer to these questions is "Yes."

Yes. It does matter if we destroy an endangered species habitat to develop more farmland, housing or industrial parks. There is a delicate balance of nature. If one small part is removed, it will effect all the other parts. For example, if certain trees are cut down, bats will have no place to roost. If they cannot roost, they cannot breed. If there are no bats, there will be no animal, or bird to eat certain insects that plague our crops.

Yes. Our environment has been affected by the absence of certain animals. Certain flowers are pollinated by butterflies, which migrate from Canada to Mexico. Some of the breeding grounds of these butterflies were destroyed. Now these flowers are disappearing from certain areas. We will no longer be able to enjoy their beauty.

Yes. The quality of our life has been changed America used to be covered with giant trees. Now we have to visit them in one small park. Rain forests around the world are being cut down to make room for humans. We will never be able to see or study this fragile ecosystem.

I would encourage us humans to look for other alternatives for our farmlands, housing, and industries. We have alternatives; the animals do not.

Animal is the friend of mankind, is an important part of the natural ecosystem. It is human precious naturalresources. Protect animals to maintain natural ecological balance has important significance.

But now many animals are facing the danger of extinction.With the development of society, pesticide used and serious pollution, city sewage .The wild animal living area is becoming increasingly narrow. Many of the animal is facing a food crisis currently . Whats more, in order to obtain wild animal of precious materials, humans are killing animals.

In order to maintain ecological balance, we should take some effective measures to protect animals.We should develop pollution standards to reduce emission of toxic substances, prevent the killing of some rare animals strictly. 保护野生动物是全社会共同的责任。林业、工商、卫生检疫、公安、交通等有关部门认真履职，相互配合，坚决打击非法盗猎、非法收购运输、非法经营野生动物的违法行为。全社会也要积极行动起来，坚决与各种破坏野生动物的违法行为作斗争。
