Dragon Boat Festival is a Chinese traditional festival. It falls on the

fifth day of May in the lunar calendar. A day before this festival, my mother

and grandmother began to make zongzi. Of course, I would act as assistant. But

it turned out that I was more of a hindrance than a help. When they finished,

they started to cook them. This process needed a long time, because I could have

them in the next day. Zongzi was very delicious. On the day of dragon boat

festival, our family prepared for dinner after having breakfast. Everyone of my

Nowadays, more and more students fall in love in middle schools that

because it takes much time and energy. But the most important is that middle

school students are not mature enough to operate a relationship. The favorable

impression to others may be the momentary impulse that will not last very long

The Laba Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated on the eighth day of the twelfth month of the lunar Chinese calendar. Traditionally, the Laba rice porridge is the most important element of the festival. Generally, the porridge contains eight ingredients which can include glutinous rice, red beans, millet, Chinese sorghum, peas, dried lotus seeds and some other ingredients, such as dried dates, chestnut meat, walnut meat, almond, peanut, etc. The porridge must be boiled for many hours and then offered as a sacrifice to the ancestors. This must be done before noontime. Also, it is tradition that family members eat the porridge together. Then they leave some as a symbol of hope for a good harvest the coming year.

上了初中，果然如同大人和学长，学姐所说“初中与小学大不相同。”以前，读小学的我，从来不会复习，天天过地无忧无虑，就算是考试的头一天，我也要和小伙伴们玩到九点多，即使不复习也能考得一个好成绩。可是，上了初中，真的与小学生活大不相同：

As the new year is coming, many families plan to go the zoo and have fun together. But recently, a tragedy happened in the zoo, a man was bitten by a tiger.
