噪音也多了起来，这是什么原因呢？也是因为家庭工厂多了起来，有些人为了赚钱，所以晚上拼命的生产、加工，所以现在的晚上和以前的一比较，差距还真是很大！

卫生环境当然也是这个原因，生产、加工后不是会留下一些没用的东西吗？有些人直接随地往山上一扔就完事了，因为放到垃圾桶里还会有人来收钱才会把垃圾收走，所以根本不会丢在垃圾桶里！

难道人们为了方便、为了赚钱，真的不为了生我养我们的地球母亲吗？

根据以上几点，我提出几个建议：

Let’s Do Something to Save Our Environment

It is recently reported that some rivers and lakes have dried up in South China. A lot of fishes died. The bottoms of the rivers and lakes have become grass land. The water is becoming less and less because of the bad weather.

So everyone should do something to save our environment. First, we should save every drop of water, such as turning off the taps after using it and recycling the water. For example, we can water the plants and clean the rest room with our used water. Second, we should save energy, such as less turning on the lights and turning off the lights when we leave;Do more walking, more bicycling and less driving and so on. Third, we should ask our government to control the pollution from the factories.

Let’s act now from everything to save our environment. Don’t let our tears be the last drop of water in the world!

保护环境的方法有很多：植树造林、不乱扔垃圾及废旧电池、清除白色垃圾及开展宣传活动等。当我们走在大街上、公园里，看着遍地的垃圾，破坏我们生活的美好环境和家园时，我们不能无动于衷！

星期六上午，我们自发成立的星星小队在白石公园组织清理垃圾。首先我给我们每一个队员都发了一次性手套和垃圾袋，发完了东西，大家都迫不及待地朝垃圾跑去，捡起来放进垃圾袋。看着队员们一个个干劲十足的积极表现，作为队长的我感到特别高兴，心想：用不了多久，我们就可以清理这里的如何垃圾，还大家一个洁净的公园了。快看，刘博翔还带来了扫把和簸箕，正在认真地扫垃圾呢！

正在我转移视线的时候，突然看见一个叔叔吸完烟后将烟头随地一扔，我赶忙走过去对叔叔说：“叔叔，我们要保护环境，爱护大自然，请您把烟头捡起来，丢进垃圾桶！”叔叔不好意思地笑着对我说：“小朋友，你真是一个爱护环境的小卫士，我应该向你学习！”说完，他立即把烟头捡起来丢进垃圾桶。

队员们一个个都忙得满头大汗，但是大家的脸上都挂着开心的笑容。最后，我们用了一个上午的时间把白石公园的垃圾清理得干干净净。大家虽然都很累，但是看到这么洁净的白石公园，心理都有种说不出的高兴。

保护环境，从我做起，从我们身边的小事做起。我相信：只要我们每一个人都参与进来，我们所居住的美丽城市——湘潭，将会变成一个人人都想来居住的洁净乐园！

Cars and Air Pollution

Too many cars have created a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion, accidents and fast fuel consumption, cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities. All the time, they are pumping huge amounts of waste gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very harmful, causing disease and even death.

One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. In Shanghai, some of the public buses begin to run on natural gas, which does not give off as much carbon dioxide as the petrol. But it may take decades for the new models of clean cars completely replace the traditional ones. Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. On the whole, the elimination of air pollution needs the collective efforts from the government, the public and the environmentalists.

In modern society, we tend to become more and more aware of our living environment or physical environment, because we are not clean as before. So many people now choose their house as to its environment but not its location and expenses to afford it. As we all know, the environment pollution is more and more serious during these years, what we could do is to make great efforts in protecting environment gradually.
