Today, our teacher told us a story on the newspaper. She told us that there was a famous university student whose family is very poor and faraway, but he studied very hard and then went to the big city for study. As we all know water plays an important part in peoples daily lives. More and more water is needed in the modern society. So we should try to save it.

Now many places are short of water. For example, a big drought hit the Southwest of China at the beginning of this year. especially Yunnan province, milions of people has not got enough water for common life. A lot of rivers and lakes are polluted. Whats worse, many people are wasting water seriously.
